It seems to be a very difficult Super Bowl to cap. Right or wrong I usually have an opinion right after the conference championships.
this year is much harder. First of all you have to excellent qbs representing to much storied franchises. Both teams have excellent coaching staffs anchored by two great defensive coordinators.
In the beginning of the yr i took the packers to win the super bowl along with my NY jets, Indy and the Cowboys (what was i thinking)
Looking at this game i see two obvious advantages one in favor of each team. Offensively the Steelers have a huge advantage in the running game . Mendenhall vs Starks. I probably prefer Moore over Starks as well. If the Steelers can run for over 120 yds and control the clock against the pack like they did to the Jets , they will limit the opportunites that they give Aaron Rodgers and win this game by more than 8 points.Conversely while the Pack needs to run the ball to keep Blitzburgh honest..75 or more would do the trick and keep this game even. Otherwise Green Bay becomes one dimensional. Give Dick Labeau 2 weeks to face a one dimensional offense and that offense will be in trouble.
the packers big advantage is in special teams, where Pittsburgh's weak converage teams could leave Rodgers and crew with some short fields. Both teams have good defenses and their pass rushes will be fierce. this favors "Big Ben" who can take a pounding a little better than Rodgers.
So when all things seem equal take the points
