Verlander has given up 3 hits in his last 16 innings.. odds are that a couple bloops drop in today. at the end of the end day he will need to go on the road vs a first place team off a complete game no hitter bid.. that can be draining... i see him giving up 2 or 3 today. Bullpen might play a big part today as verlander is off the 9 innings last game. Detroit BP is terrible. Masterson is no Gem lately and with a total set at 7. it could easiely get to 3 to 3 ... I project a 6-4 detroit win.

two of my favorite under pitchers throwing today in this matchup.. Bedard saw the Nats for 1 inning before being relieved last week with Brad lincoln with back spasms.. All reports are that he is fine and that he got the two extra days of rest to throw today... Gio is basically unhittable at home so far and I see no reason why the pirates who are not strong vs lefties will hit well today. He didnt face the pirates in last weeks 3 game set... The line is also trending towards the pirates because they are frankly not bad and should be competitive today again. BOL to everyone.

Great Start to season. Two Plays today.
Under San Diego vs Philly 6.5, 220 to 200
Phillies seriously struggling at the plate and I really like the kid on the bump for the Pads... Should be much more calm in his second career start. Vance Worley on the mild bounce back . Pitchers park and this line looks like it will attract some Over backing. Vegas will want this one to stay under. I will side with the books on this one.

Line is moving towards the Blue Jays... Not gonna lie, Didnt know anything about Alvarez until about 20 minutes ago. He is pretty solid and I think he is in for a quality year. Hellickson comes in with what I think is a overvalued public perception after the great rookie year and first two starts... Hellickson cant get any better and he goes to a place that isnt easy to pitch tonight. At the end of the day. its still a road start for a second year pitcher.. Blue Jays tonight rough up hellickson a little bit : )

I am gonna start posting my plays just to keep myself honest. If my record is solid , im sure I can help contribute to this board and baseball season.
First baseball play of the season. I like Bedard in the national league and Saunders is typically a fast starter and had a quality first start. He will face a Pitt lineup that is not scary . Bedard is also 0-2 and will want to get another quality start to avoid 0-3... Two lefties in this matchup with good control and will look keep runners off base. Both have good moves to first as both teams have good team speed.
