Will Power is the 2-1 favorite in this race. Scott Dixon is the second choice at 4-1 while Helio Castroneves, Ryan Briscoe and Dario Franchitti are each listed with odds of 5.5-1. The only other driver who is listed with odds of less than 18-1 is Ryan Hunter-Reay who is 9-1.

When you look at Sunday’s race you have to start by looking at Power. He is the point’s leader, he won this race a year ago and he can clinch this year’s title with a win. Power is 36 points clear of Ryan Hunter-Reay in the standings with Helio Castroneves 41 points back. Last year, Power won the race in Baltimore as he started on the pole and led 70 of the 75 laps and last week he finished second to teammate Ryan Briscoe at Sonoma. With two races left last year he led by 11 points but lost the championship; two years ago he led by 17 points and lost the final race. Power’s lead of 38 points is the biggest difference between first and second since 2008.
Chevy Dominance
Chevrolet has dominated IndyCar this season as they have already clinched the Engine Manufacturer’s championship. Chevrolet had not been in IndyCar since 2005 as Honda supplied the engines. This year Chevy came back in force as their cars have won 10 of the 13 races. The Chevy drivers, Power, Hunter-Reay and Castroneves are the top three drivers in the standings. “To me, the Chevy relationship goes back a long time when we had the first Chevy Indy engine [in 1985], so to me this is just a repeat,” Roger Penske said. “I think to have Chevy come into the series was a big plus. We have three engine manufacturers now, and there’s a lot of good competition between the brands. I think the league has done a very good job in monitoring each engine and being sure it’s a level playing field. To see them win the manufacturer’s championship in their first year is very rewarding.”
Picks
There is not much value on the sports betting board at the sportsbook since Power has been so dominant. We will bet on Power at 2-1 and Castroneves at 5.5-1. Click on NASCAR
Posted Sunday, September 02, 2012 12:49 PMChris Sale and the White Sox take on Justin Verlander and the Tigers and this should make it a super pitching matchup on Sunday night on ESPN. Let’s check on at this game picks at that you can bet on our recommended Sportsbooks.
This is a great weekend for betting with both college football and baseball action. This matchup is between the top two teams in the American League Central and it is expected to feature Cy Young contenders in Sale and Verlander.
Chris Sale
The White Sox ace did not pitch well last time against the Orioles, hurting Cy Young resume. He is still 15-5 on the season with a 2.81 ERA. Maybe Sale is running out of energy as he has never thrown this many innings in a season before. He is 1-2 inhis last three starts with a 4.42 ERA. He is 1-2 inhis career against the Tigers with a 4.05 ERA. Bet On MLB
Justin Verlander
The Tigers ace was not good at all also last time out as he was shelled by the Royals for eight runs and 12 hits. His offense bailed him out so he didn’t take the loss but it was still not a good effort from Verlander and possibly took him out of the Cy Young race. He is 12-7 on the season with a 2.80 ERA. In his last three starts his ERA is 5.66. He is 13-10 inhis career against the White Sox with a 4.05 ERA.
Game Notes
The White Sox had lost 9 of their last10 inDetroit prior this series began with four of the last five going under the total. This matchup on Sunday is big due to both teams are taking with their top pitchers.
Baseball Picks
We expect Sale and Verlander get better in this game and bring their “A” game on Sunday night. We will bet this game under the total. MLB Baseball Lines

Louisville -13, total 41.5
The Cardinals starts the season ranked 25th in the country and they’re laying two touchdowns at home. Kentucky is coming off a 5-7 season, when they missed out on a bowl game and if the Wildcats have another losing season it could be the end for head coach Joker Phillips. Louisville is coming off a 7-6 season; however, it got considered as a success as the Cardinals went 5-2 in the Big East and made a bowl game.

Kentucky’s Offensive Struggles
The Wildcats did not have a good offensive last year. They were the last in total offense and scoring offense in the SEC. They ranked 118th overall in scoring. The Wildcats return with most of their players from previous year but this does not mean these are good news. The Kentucky defense and offense was not very good and this makes us think this will not change this season.
Louisville Big Year
The Cardinals have an easy schedule; therefore, this could be a good year for the Cardinals. They are led on offense by quarterback Teddy Bridgewater who was the Big East Freshman of the Year last season and this season most of his talent returns. The Louisville defense was 23rd in the country a year ago and 9 starters return.
Kentucky vs. Louisville
These teams have met nine times only with Kentucky leading the series 6-3. Last season it was Louisville winning by a score of 24-17. Looking at the trends, the Wildcats are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games. The Cardinals are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games.
College Football Picks
There is not much to get from Kentucky this season. They don’t seem to be better than last year. In the other hand, Louisville does look better than they were a year ago. We will lay the points on the Cardinals on this Sunday game. College Football Betting Lines

The game will be shown at ESPN and you can bet this game at any of our recommended Sportsbooks. Let’s check on the matchup and make our predictions.
Virginia Tech -7.5, total 48.5

Georgia Tech’s Run Offense vs. Hokies Defense
The Yellow Jackets were second in the country last season in rushing led by quarterback Tevin Washington who rushed for987 yardsand 14 touchdowns. Four of their five offensive lineman return, due to this the Yellow Jackets will run it nearly each down again this season. The Hokies were 7th in the nation in scoring defense a year ago and they return nine starters.
Game Notes
What makes the difference in this game is Virginia Tech’s offense led by quarterback Logan Thomas who had3,482 yardsof total offense last season. The Hokies do have to replace David Wilson but Virginia Tech always finds talent in the backfield. The Hokies have won 6 of the 9 all-time meetings counting 37-26 on the road last year in Atlanta. The Yellow Jackets are 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 road games while the Hokies are 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games.
Prediction
The Hokies have big talent on both sides of the ball especially with offensive player Logan Thomas. We will take Virginia Tech and lay the points on Monday night. College Football Quarter Lines
Posted Saturday, September 01, 2012 10:17 AMThe Irish will open their 2012 season at Ireland against a team that could be dangerous for them in the Midshipmen of Navy. Kickoff is set for 9 AM ET and televised by CBS. Most Sportsbooks opened this game with Notre Dame favored by 16.5 points. College Football Betting Lines
Brian Kelly
Kelly had great success with the college football lines at Cincinnati where he got the Bearcats into a BCS Bowl game with the 2009 Big East title. He was expected to be a quick fix for Notre Dame but that wasn’t the case even though the Irish are coming off back-to-back 8 win seasons under Kelly. The great news is that the program has more of his recruits now as well as his system good in place. With 14 starters back including 8 on offense, hopes are again high amongst the “Subway Alumni” that Irish Eyes will be smiling come January.
One Step Back Two Steps Forward
Navy fell to 5-7 for their first losing season since 2002 last year. Coach Ken Niumatalolo returns with 13 starters from last year for his 5th season. Navy is usually successful against BCS teams lines due to their attack that frustrates defenses. The Middies had a lot of close calls last year as they lost 5 games by a total of 11 points which means they were not far off their standards.
The Edge
After losing to Notre Dame in 43 consecutive games the Midshipmen have beaten the Irish in 3 of the last 5 matchups. But Notre Dame crushed Navy last year 56-14 and should be tougher on the Middies in this one. NCAA College Football First Halves
