I'm in a meeting today and over lunch someone mentions an upcoming trip to Vegas. Some chic in her late 20's pops off about craps being the best and only game to play. Ok. No problem there. Great game. Low house advantage. Unfortunately that was the last good thing she said.
"I'm telling you. Craps is the only good game to play. The rest are sucker games. Just play the come line. My boyfriend and I go to the casino all the time and we've never left without triple what we came with. You can put a $20 on the come line and it'll last 30 minutes."
Of course the novice gamblers in the room are wide eyed and think she is an expert. I just sat there laughing my ass off in my head. Wasn't the place for me to completely silence this liar.
I'm sure some others have examples of lying gamblers. Would love to hear them.
I've heard some people ask this the past day and a half and didn't think much of it. But it is strange. Every news agency and sports site out there has a story on it. ESPN.com or the channel has no mention of it whatsoever.
I can see where at 1st they didn't because the case doesn't appear to have much merit at first glance but now Goodell has said he's looking into it and still no mention!! Meritor no merit its still a legitimate story.
Some are claiming racism. I discounted that until somebody asked if this were McNabb, Pacman, or T.O. would it be mentioned. I would have to say yes.
Anyone else think it's weird that they won't even mention it??
