I want to get my first impressions out there and see how they develop into Sundays picks.
Looking at these games, I can make a strong argument for a huge underdog weekend:
Oakland +4 @ KC -- divisional matchup, can see them bouncing back from the pounding their other divisional rival put on them on national television at home. KC is no Denver thats for sure.
Tennessee +1.5 @ Cincy -- Collins gives them a passing attack, Johnson and White give them a ground game, solid defense gives them the edge in this tilt.
Minnesota +2.5 vs. Indy -- Colts were out of sync, Minnesota's D looked good save for a couple let downs, GB also ran a punt back on them take that away they win that game. Home opener for the purple.
Detroit +3 vs Green Bay -- They catch them at Detroit off an emotional opener, they were embarrassed by Atlanta.
Chicago +3 @ Carolina -- Chicago's D looks nasty again. No Steve Smith, big last minute win for Carolina week 1. Orton gives them the best chance to win games.
St Louis +9 vs NYG -- I love the points here, S.Jax and co. are not that bad, Giants exposed indoors, the road win streak is probably extended I'm not that crazy, but you watch...
Buffalo +6 @ Jax -- Jags O line is banged up, Bills improved in all aspects this year. Could easily take these points.
Atlanta +8 @ Tampa -- A ton of points to give a team with a running back on pace for 4,000 yards in a season!
San Fran +8 @ Seattle -- Seattle stinks, their D is still good, but I would never lay 8 with that offense, name the WRs that'll be out there the first time they go 3 wide here.... Times up, take the points.
Miami +7 @ Arizona -- Gave the Brett's a run for their money, Ricky Will and Ronnie B look solid.
New England +1.5 @ NYJ -- No comment.
Baltimore +5 @ Houston -- I think they can cover, I really won't touch this game with a 10 foot pole to be honest.
Dever +2.5 vs. San Diego -- Home Dog in a divisional tilt, but thats all I got.
Cleveland +6 vs Pitt -- see Denver vs San Diego
Philly +7 @ Dallas -- Thats a lot of points, I can see that game going 23-20 to whoever has the ball last.
There's people on this forum that pick Minnesota, and I respect that this game could no doubt go either way. But if you're using everyone's on Green Bay as your logic, I disagree with that. Everywhere I turn I see Minnesota as a selection.
I like Green Bay at home there defense is just as good as Minnesota's and their Aaron Rodgers, Jennings, Driver, Jones, Grant are better than A.P. and co. by a lot.
