More to come here but as you see I am siding with the champs as I think they respond here in full force not just for the loss but for the embarrassing way in which they played a large part of a very big game.
Not taking anything away from Pitt who played great and created alot of that negative play by Detroit and fully deserved the victory but with that said Pitt did not create ALL of those very uncharacteristic turnovers and all that (at times) very lazy play by Detroit and it is not the first time I have seen that from the Wings as they often IMO get too arrogant and lazy and they are playing a very solid and talented hockey team that can and will make them pay for such transgressions and sometimes a man has to have his legs broken in order to learn how to fly again and these men do have Wings that fly like not many I have seen in my day when they are on their game and you better believe they will be on it come Saturday night and that is good enough for me to saddle up and ride with these cowboys be it in victory or defeat so be it, this is where my money sleeps in game 5.
Will be adding a certain play onto this card and I am just waiting patiently for them to post it....Bought this already though so thought I would get my card started here.....
Now as a fan only I say damn this is fun watching Crosby and Malkin grow up in front of me playing these old warriors from Motor City...Love this hockey and hope everyone else is enjoying it and I am quite certain the best is yet to come, I think we are watching something special here and I can`t wait to watch this unfold...To both the Pens and Wings no matter what happens now just as an old school hockey fan....

Despite having 2 goals pulled out of the net due to premature whistles last night we still hopped over the total by 2 goals and cashed our over as it hit over with half a period to spare.
A team that has won 5 wagers in a row for me (4 wins and 1 under) and 2 of these current pod plays the Anaheim Ducks are back on the docket as they travel into Nashville for what is for all intent purposes a playoff game.
The Ducks sit 1 point back of 8th spot which is being held by Nashville. The two met last week with the Ducks pulling out a 4-3 ot win but they did dominate a little more than the score would suggest albeit on the pond. The Preds are tough at home but the Ducks also travel very well and they have been surging lately and I see no point in standing in there way here against a Pred team that will still be without their captain again and really looking a little worn lately, just a little, while the Ducks look rejuvenated. I expect a close hard fought tilt so this is not for the faint of heart but in this playoff type game I will be riding the playoff type team in my opinion with all the guys that have been there so many times before. We are getting great value here with what I feel to be the better hockey team due to home ice that will not mean as much in this situation with what is on the line and a revenge angle for the Preds for last weeks loss but never mind the smoke screen.

BOL Everyone.
Just some fun trivia so now without trying to look it up...Does anyone know? This includes every single player that was on their roster period.
Jacques Martin was in attendance in philly for the kings/flyers game wednesday night and apparently will be back in attendance friday night for the habs/flyers tilt. The two names being tossed around on the philly side in an either/or fashion are Joffrey Lupul and Matt Carle. The panthers know he is leaving at the end of the season as he has made that pretty clear so they do need to deal him or see him walk and get nothing back. A little side note for those unaware is that Jacques Martin and Bob Clarke are very good friends off the ice so this does make alot of sense.
Glen Metropolit and Ossi Vaanen have been placed on waivers and either Claude Giroux or Darrel Powe will be sent down, all to make room for the return of Briere either friday night or sunday afternoon against the Devils.....I am loving the Bouwmeister Possiblity! Amazing fit and another strong playoff piece, now if he could only play net! LOL
