...just days later after someone said they won't even make the playoffs because they were slumping so badly. I guess it's a bad time to mention the Rays are currently slumping.
2-2 -0.42
So...my easiest play yesterday was the A's, who I had the least amount of confidence in but it won because I selected it due to the line looking off. So...let's try that again. But...I'll try to give some reasoning being it, like pros and cons, so that it gives some info that you could use. Some don't do that...I choose to. So...Anyway, on to today.
Blue Jays
No way do the Rays get swept. Not a chance. The line is this low? Only 120? Sign me up...right? Well...the Blue Jays have something different to say about that. Morrow has pitched very well at home. He has a 3.25 ERA in Toronto and is coming off a poor start against the Yankees. Good spot for him to bounce back. He's faced the Rays twice this season and he's 1-1 with a 2.08 ERA. His win was at home and his loss was on the road. Sonnanstine is pitching for the Rays. He's taking the mound for the first time since going on the DL. This is also his only start of the season, so don't expect him to throw that many pitches. The Jays bats have also been hot. They've scored at least 8 runs in 5 of their last 10 games including that 17 spot they put up yesterday. So, while they're hitting .293 v righties in their last 10 games, the Rays are only hitting .203 and are on a 4 game losing streak. Obviously that has to end sooner or later, but this may not be the right spot. The Rays lead the season series 6-5 so it's time for the Jays to tie this one up.
I'll update lines/prices later.
BOL All. Have A Great Day.
I know Griffey was always mentioned but I have to add Alfonso Soriano to that list. He just lets it fly. And if he makes contact...it looks like it could go out every time. Any other suggestions?
Who do you think is the best?
Rajon Rondo & Ray Allen: Great hands, speed and shooting. But I certainly don't think this is anybodies "favorite".
Devin Harris & Courtney Lee: Two reasons why I can't fathom why the Nets are so bad.
Delonte West & Mo Williams: Need a 3 pointer anyone?
Richard Hamilton & Rodney Stuckey: Hmmmmmmm...?
Joe Johnson & Jamal Crawford: Can't think of a catchy thing here.
Vince Carter & Jameer Nelson: If only we could get Vincanity back. Then we'd have a real discussion.
Jason Kidd & Jason Terry
Gilbert Arenas & Earl Boykins: Just kidding
Chauncey Billups & J.R Smith: Both seem pretty clutch to me.
Baron Davis & Eric Gordon: Eh?
Manu Ginobli & Tony Parker: Ummmmmmmmm...
Tyreke Evans & Kyle Lowry: Insert something here
And now for my 3 favorites...
Derek Fisher & Kobe Bryant: Clutch and Clutchest
Stephen Curry & Monta Ellis: Did you see Curry against Los Angeles? Do you see Ellis every night? I simply love these 2.
Aaron Brooks & Kevin Martin: Possibly the most underrated great backcourt in basketball and my favorite. These 2 are simply studs and I love watching these 2 play. If they were to somehow make a run to the playoffs...they aren't a pushover in that first round. And Aaron Brooks is currently 5-5 from 3 point land as I type this.
I was looking into something and he's obviously not looking for a big paycut...but I was comparing his numbers to Bobby Abreu's numbers (of 2008) and Abreu had a better season and signed a $5 million contract. Abreu had...
More Games Played
More Doubles
1 More Triple
4 Less Homers
Better Batting Average (by 14 points)
Better On Base Percentage (by 6 points)
Rumor has it that Cashman has $2 million to spend, but would probably go over for Damon. He should stop crying...accept $5 million...and move on to another run at a World Series Championship. At this age, he should just worry about winning. If the numbers are correct...he's made $97 million in his baseball career. Obviously more in whatever he may have endorsed. He said he wants to return to New York...I'm believe he truly means this...and he should just come back and help the cause.
Now I find this more as a disrespect towards the KState players. It basically means that they beat a team who wasn't as good as expected and the win was "watered down" a bit. Maybe they should have stuck with the "We Own Texas" chant instead.
Sorry...just a meaningless little rant.
