Well we didn't do to well yesterday, but even I can't win them all.
I don't have any official bets yet but here are my leans right now.
NY -2.5 (Line looks too good)
Portland -1.5 (Blake isn't 100% and CP is most likely out.)
Bobcats -2.5 (Talk about a team that wants a home win, plus Timberwolves are god awful.)
Utah -2.5 (Utah is too good at home, the disappointing loss to LA will have them craving a win.)
Houston/Nets - Under 202 ( The recent averages make this look very very good.)
Once I see the Wizards line I will probably like it. I'll do some write ups and blog posts later in the day.
What do you guys think?
Well we were 2-0 for Thursday making our total 9-2. I'm really happy with how much we are winning and how fast this website is growing. Thanks to all my followers for your support, it means a lot!
I generally clear out my schedule and set up multiple monitors to watch these NBA games, but I ended up going out instead. Ironically I spent my free time playing basketball with some friends; what can I say, I love the sport. I missed the whole New York game but what from I've seen it was closer than I anticipated. I could be being a little harsh on Boston right now, but the numbers don't lie. All that matters is that we got the win.
I did however get home in time to watch the Sun's game and I was very impressed. This team is very energized thanks to the coaching change and they were going all out. Fortunately for us the Clippers did the complete opposite without their all-star PG to lead them to victory. Even though LA lost this game I still consider them one of, if not the top team in the west. Once Chris Paul gets healthy they should go back to dominating the courts.
Now on to the important stuff, Friday's pick!
Miami (Home) -10 - Detroit (Away) +10
My Pick: Detroit +10
You guys already know how much I like the Pistons right now; and that's true even against the defending champs. The Heat haven't been playing the elite defense they are known for recently. On top of that they have always had hard time dealing with good big men; which Detroit will have on the court the entire 48 minutes. Miami will struggle with Monroe but finding an answer to Drummond off of the bench will be even more difficult. In their first and only meeting this season the Pistons won by lighting it up at the perimeter shooting 63% from beyond the arch. The Heat will have to pick their poison by either focusing on the Piston's big men or their perimeter game. I don't anticipate a Piston's victory in South Beach, but I also don't see the Heat blowing this hot Detroit team out. As long as the Pistons can out rebound the Heat they can beat this spread easily.
I'm sure I'll have more picks later in the day but this is all for now. Some sites have this spread at +9.5 but if you watch it you should be able to get it at +10.
Best of Luck!
I plan on doing a full blog post once I get some more research done. I think everyone needs to take this bet while they can though.
Thunder/Golden State - Over 206
Best of luck!
Getting off to a 3-1 start isn't bad. I'm almost going to snap bet on the Wizards in the next game, I love the way they are playing. I should have guessed the Lakers would lose again, No disrespect to Metta, but it is sad when he is the best player on your team. Howard is playing like garbage and no one on the team can play defense besides MWP. Kobe is just worn out at this point, I don't expect them to turn this season around without some trades.
Anyways, on to the Picks!
Pistons (Home) -4 - Magic (Away) +4
My Pick: Pistons -4
Anyone that has been watching Detroit play at home recently should realize this spread is a little off. For whatever reason Orlando has lost 7 games in a row to -.500 teams and will make it 8 today. Glen Davis and Jameer Nelson are day to day, so even if they play they aren't at 100%. Andre Drummond and Greg Monroe should be able to dominate the post in this game, I really don't expect it to be close. The Piston's record doesn't quite reflect their skill level due to a very poor start to the season but they are actually a pretty talented squad. The Magic's only chance to pull this one out is to light it up from the perimeter, but I'll take my chances.

Happy MLK day everyone. I was really happy with Toronto’s performance yesterday, hopefully they will keep getting these great spreads. On the other hand Boston had me screaming at the TV for 2 hours. The Celtics have burned me a few times this season now, so I will be much more reluctant to bet on them in the future.
I’m still considering a few bets and if I make anymore I’ll post them later in the day. For now I only have one game that I’m confident on, so here it is.
Bobcats (Home) +6.5 - Rockets (Away) -6.5
My Pick: Bobcats +6.5
Bonus Pick: Over – Total 206.5
Betting on a home team underdog is usually a good call in the NBA even if it is the Bobcats. Charlotte’s home losing streak is sitting at 15 while the Rocket’s losing streak is at 8. The Bobcats are much better than their record shows and have had some very close losses. I don’t think Lin can stop Kemba from scoring and not many people can stop Harden from scoring. This will be shootout with little to no defense. Unless Harden gets hot they will have a hard time beating this spread, and if he gets hot they will most likely beat the total.
I also like New York at -4, but it’s just a lean. Shumpert and Stoudemire being back make this team even scarier. They took the win with ease the last two games, and I expect another repeat at the Garden.
Best of Luck!
