You gotta love this enthusiasm demonstrated by the Arizona State fans.
This world needs a little more sense of humour in it like this to loosen up the mean spiritedness that's enveloped our world since the banks robbed us in 2008!

Today's Chicago White Sox starter is Chris Sale who is even better on the road than he is at home and likely only because Chicago's U.S. Cellular Field is a hitter’s park. Our man, Sale affectionately known as the "Condor,"currently sports a phenomenal 1.41 ERA on the road, and in one start in Kauffman Stadium he allowed only 4 hits and 0 ER in 8 IP. Kansas City's home OPS of .665 is 14th in the AL and ranks only .001 ahead of last-place Seattle. Over his last 33 frames, Sale has been real juicy striking out a healthy plate full of 42 batters. He has put up the best skills of any starter since the All-Star break. And if that don't wake up the Grandma in your style of step how about the fact that he has even increased his four-seam fastball velocity by 2.4 mph from the 1H to the 2H, which incidentally is more than any pitcher in the game today. Sale throws with a "funky" sidearm throwing motion which is often referred to as an "inverted-W" due to the way his arms come across his body while he pitches. If that is confusing to you?, imagine trying to hit this guy who has a very nice strike out percentage of 43%. That's a winner folks and now your up to date in Kansas City for tonight's game at Kauffman Stadium.

Heading into today's games we should be noting an umpire alert following along Weeble's train of thought..About a year ago someone in this forum pointed out that Mr.Eddings who is respectfully umpiring todays LAA/Texas game was a pitcher's type umpire and therefore a usual suspect for delivering unders.
According to Tin's baseball report Mr.Eddings last 6 out of 9 ( 67%) games ended UNDER their set totals. Combine this with Texas's last 8 of 11 games going UNDER (72%)
We don't really have any marquis appearances here in pitching either...Rasmus pitching for the Angels is 0-0, 3.86 (4.2 IP) in two starts; *Tin suggesting this is a bullpen game for Halos. .
Texas is 2-13 in last fifteen Martinez starts (0-0, 2.38 in last two.
This could of been one of those day game getaway days which would of been a red light because Texas hits the snot outta the ball in day games RE: 12-4 recent out burst in that bottomless pitcher's park they built in Seattle.
We have two teams who usually produce a pant load of runs when they play each other which likely is what scared the books into setting a number at 9.5 juicing up the OVER at -115 anticipating the over betting trend in their match ups. The juice has already reversed here at 10:26 am EST so the gig might be up already. We may even get a 9 or an 8.5. Just a heads up if you like less than 10 as it stands now.
PLAY: LAA/Texas 9.5 under -12... [More]

If Oprah Winfrey can give out free donuts and Winnebago's to her audiences the bar has clearly been set high folks!
Time for smart guy Roger S. Goodell the Commissioner of the National Football League to step up to the plate and bleed some of his operations' gazillion$$$ in take home money. Public relations is always the best route to travel when entertaining Roger. You know that better than most of us wannabe hosts of the most watched spectacle on the boob tube. This Super bowl can skip over the weather like Jack Sprat and become worthy of the term spectacle. Its the right thing to do Roger.
Solution#1 to the freezing NY situation that's quickly approaching.
How about the NFL put up the entire ticket purchasing audience and its entire gig with all the bells whistle's ringtinglers etc over to Hawaii for the big game?
Its the right thing to do Roger.. and Roger consider the act and early birthday present to yourself (Feb 19, 1959) and your family -everyone who sits down with a beverage or chip bag sponsored by your league to watch this silly game called football despite the mostly hand contact on the ball.
Spending money you will likely get back in publicity and residuals outstanding ledger wedgy Rog!
You know what to do sir. simply pick up thae big red telephone and start the extravaganza..

Good gamblers can spot the herd of wooden heads before the bookmakers can smell their sawdust. No kidding Pinocchio! Just ask Dave Malinsky here at Covers. Pre-game action tells us we have a slippery slope of line movement in favour of the Broncos. Woooo hoooo! (ooops... not so loud)
The line is moving up because everyone is betting on Denver. BUT Before you look at your mortgage with love in your eyes, you should know that Denver has a 22nd rank defense and astonishingly sits behind your JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS in pass ranking!! Champ Baily? Defensive back for the Broncos...I got a football card round here with him on it from the freekin 80's. Geeeeez...Steve Sommers on the Fan 66 in NY calls Baily "a million years old."
Seattle on the other hand have the best defense in the league and defense wins championships.Vegas is daring you to take Denver 1st quarter and 1st half.
Denver got to the Super Bowl simply because there is no real team in the AFC that plays decent defense except for maybe Houston but they were throwing games to get a draft pick. If Lynch can run against a top defense in San Francisco, Seattle will easily be able to run against this less than stellar Bronco defence.
On offense Seattle is one of the few teams that run the... [More]

I had to check my calender for the year I was in..
Yep its still 2012 NOT the DARK AGES
You gotta know by now that some where in the world the .001% of the wealthiest bastards on this planet sit around in aluminum helmuts with their rows of lawyers and bean counters on steroids in back rooms deciding whats going to happen in the world. And despite all of our futile attempts at participatory democracy and elections. This result is just the way hierarchies work.We either wack em or enjoy the barf they serve us after they've had their fill of soylent green...This world is absloutely NO FUN with these greedy mean spirited clowns running our towns.
BUT NOW they have crossed one of those lines in the sand we thought they'd dare not cross. Here we go in Toronto, Canada - where school officials have decided to go after the beautiful game and have banned the use of soccer balls on their school grounds!?!? Is this some kind of war on fun?
Is it time to get our BALLS back on the field?
Thank you for paying attention...

"I have seen the enemy and it is US!"
Are we not our own worst enemy?
Deep down we all know that by being patient and able to settle on one juicy pick per day and/or per week we can likely manage our money and build a way to winning while gambling on sporting events. In other words...Its probably better to wait for the big pay day than to imagine it might happen daily
Even though you might try to hold to this proces of patience and money management - you - like me tend to get bored. Remember winning is not boring. I have to confess that like most if not all gamblers I am also guilty of over playing the board and saying farewell to a nice chunk of my bank roll from time to time. You know the feeling by now.. sometimes the board looks soo juicy and you just drift into a pantload of action even though I know it will eventually burn my bankroll down I expose myself to the crash.
We can self discipline ourselves by creating an ACTION account and a PATIENCE account. Sort of like putting the governor on a diesel engine...You wait for the Gems and paly them on the Patience account while the Action account is used to solve our craving for constant action.
Any successful gambler with their bag of magic tricks and developed set of discipline for maintaining patience can tell you this gig is a marathon not a sprint.
Thanks for paying attention.

Just wondering if players still subscribe to this angle on totals.
Books tend to anticipate the public to flock after a string of overs or unders and so the play here on the ZIG ZAG tack is to go the other way.
