YTD  22-14  ( +20.95 units )

5u  0-0
4u  3-0
3u  6-1
2u  2-7
1u  11-6

ATLANTA -1.5 ( 2 units )
These teams are pretty much even on multiple power ratings, but if you consider that home court is worth anywhere between 3 to 6 points that would mean laying -1.5 with the Hawks is reasonably fair. The kicker here is that they catch Portland on a 4/6 on the Road.

SACRAMENTO +6 ( 1 unit )
Yes that's right !! I'm chasing the Sac of Potatoes once again. This might be a stubborn bet more than anything else but at 6 points I Just can't pass up the value of a home dog.

Montreal = most joyous fun filled city in North America. Spent 08, 09 and 2010 summers there. Nothing else compares

I live in Toronto, been to every city in the states practically from coast to coast, been all over canada, and MTL is #1 (only from middle of spring to fall of course . lol)

jmho, but unless you are trying to get those 2 unit picks up and over the hump I think you should upgrade the Hawks pick.

PR9,

I hear that MTL is the better for a bachelor party than Vegas is. More bang for your buck they say.

What else is so awesome about it? Clubs? Women? Nightlife? People?

Montreal is the most European city in North America, IMO.
You have all the perks of Paris (fantastic restaurants, beautiful women, architecture, museums, etc..) at a fraction of the cost. The vibe is down to earth, the nightlife is rockin, and the chicks are super approachable. I'm a MTL homer who has traveled extensively, and there is no other place I'd rather live.

Does Quebec have single game sports wagering or is it the 3 game parlay rule like Ontario?
24money says:
01/18/12 11:25AM

Unfortunately, Loto-Quebec, the governmental body that offers sports betting requires that you make 3 team selections. The juice is ridiculous, and it makes much more sense for any self-respecting sports investor to open a Pinny account.
HDTP says:

agreed.

However, I found value in college hoops jumping on games where the spread in between 6-10 and the line moves for the favorite.

These provincial lotto monkeys don't adjust to market so you can grab 3 games and make some quick cash.

24,

Is MTL a culturally diverse mindset as well? Do you have all walks of life that meshes well together? In short, if your group is not European are you at any disadvantage??? Will your group stick out like a sore thumb?

MTL chicks are pretty much California girls with a french accent.
Hella easy to get in the sac.

Toronto girls are colder than ice beer!

Like ATL at home, but fave plays are memphis -4.5 and okc -10.5

MTL is pretty diverse. I'm cuban and have family there. Pretty large latin crowd. Lots of quebec born, caribbean, and euros there.

The only disadvantage is if you don't speak french. Most places in downtown Montreal speak french and english but as you brancg out it gets difficult.

Naw bro, MTL is extremely culturally diverse, and super tourist friendly. You guys won't stick out unless you parade around downtown in Boston Bruin jerseys, wasted, and looking for fights like those other crazy young'ens

Agreed Apologies bro.

ATL is a smart play and I like the SacTown pick but we should wait on a better number. Should move to +6 soon.

Viva Canada! lol

I steer clear of that Loto-Quebec garbs like the plague, so wasn't aware of the new 2-team policy. Juice is through the roof compared to what Pinny offers.

GL on your Sactown throwdown, I'm on it too

Not sure if you've made a wager in a while, but they've changed it to minimum 2 team parlay and you can even wager on single bets from a group of selections. It's still well not worth it. The thoeritcal hold is off the charts.

I live in toronto too and never taken proline due to the 3 game parlay required per ticket...

also, can the guys in toronto recommend a good local bookie?
thanks a lot
