PHILADELPHIA -3.5 ( 2 units )
Sixers have been a covering machine 11-4 ats at home . Eventually i think this number will regress , I just can't see them finishing 48-18 because the chalk will increase against the bottom teams  but anything under points 6 points against a sub .500  team like the Lakers who are beginning an east coast swing is  worth a bet. This Philadelphia team is so well coached , they play defense like every trip down is a 2 pt game and their guards ( Holiday,Meeks and Williams ) all have excellent range, these guys make their shots. They have some quality wins at home against some very good teams. I see this number closing at -4.5.

NEW JERSEY + 9 ( 2 units )
The Nets are a live dog today. They've been steadily improving against the number. Their last 3 losses have been in the single digit range. They were a 13.5 point dog only a couple of weeks ago against this same Chicago team. So getting 9 today is well worth the value in my opinion. I grade Chicago's home court value at 6.5 so i think this line should of been set at 7. This happens frequent in the NBA. Teams that win SU on a regular basis are often over valued because the Public will bet them blindly with no regards to the point spread.

nets getting better, and chicago has looked sluggish lately.  Dont think Deng or Hamilton will be back yet, I dont think the Bulls will lose, but i like NJ to cover the 9.

44 - I know you hate the Lakers (or at least think they suck), but since they started 1-7 on the road, they're much better lately for one reason...

Andrew Goudelock. 

He's been getting more playing time during the last 10 days or so, b/c Steve Blake is injured and Darius Morris couldn't throw a beachball into the ocean.  Lakers got desperate and went to Goudelock and he's given the bench a much needed spark. Plus, he draws defenders out so it makes Pau and Bynum that much more effective.

The late 2nd round draft pick is putting up terrific numbers off the bench. He can shoot the 3, but he can also dribble-drive and put up a consistent running tear dropper from 8 feet out. 

BTW, I don't think Lakers are sub .500.  I think they've won more games than lost. 

Lakers are also starting to play better defense lately as well.

I said before the season started i was only going to concentrate on SIDES and it's been working out. I've only bet one total, no quarters no halfs. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Nuggets are a streaky team. They won 8 of 9 and now have lost 4 of 5. Rocets struggling as well and usually when both teams come into a game slumping I lean towards the Dog.

It's a sub .500 team ''ON THE ROAD'' is what i meant. The Lakers are 3-8 away from home have one of the worst benches in the league and i hardly doubt their gonna win too many games against East Coast teams with a winning record. If the Sixers were laying 5 oir higher I would of stayed away from this game but i think 3.5 is too low and the correct play here.

Im guessing D-Will will be fired up against D-Rose. Rose was chosen as All-Star starter while D-Will was not could be a possible source of motivation. I like Kris Kardashian matching up with Boozer. If Morrow's shooting gets hot I think all that would be the formula for the Nets to covet the +9 spread

Lakers-Phi is a tough, tough game..I would lean on the Lakers because Kobe is coming home. Raps and Jazz ML- Ballsy Monday ticket, both games good value like Phi was against the Hawks and I'll take it.

Portland is still a mystery team to me.. they can play really well one game and shit the bed the next. Plus the Thunder are a great team, i think its going to be a lot of scoring in this game. I'd leave it alone.. I do like the other two games tho.. B.O.L

Hey Dimes.  Yup, went big on Philly 2H and less so on Nets.  But the Nets 2H bet mitigated the Nets FG loss, so even though the picks went 1-1, I was up 2 units.

Actually, Portland had that game won , with possession of the ball, with little time left...and a bad goaltending call...So, that means he should have actually been 2-1...which is a profitable day...one of many Dimes has produced...all in all, a complete public showing of stupidity on your part combined with your losing day and your lack of gratitude towards someone who, if you would listen to regularly and abstain from your degenerate ways,would eliminate the need for you to piss and moan after a day like this.

I seriously hope the Thunder and Blazers meet up in the second round of the Western conference playoffs. Tonight showed how good a 7 game series between these two teams could be. That being said, the Goaltending call was pretty bogus, if I had $$ on Portland i'd be pulling my hair out. Tonight, I was on 76ers ML and the OVER 196.5 in this game so I avoided the  thankfully.
