I've roughed up this team so much this year that I practically fade them any time their laying significant chalk so how ironic is it that I'm on the Lake show today. Well eventually i have to find a few spots in the schedule where I can back this team as a Dog any I think today is a better time than any !! Look at Celtics last 5 wins ! All against teams with losing records. 5 wins but only managed to get the cover in 2 of them. They shoot over 50% against the Bobcats last game and only win by 10 points. Like Shania Twain's song says "" DON'T IMPRESS ME MUCH" The Lakers are in the middle of a 7 game East coast swing but are playing on 3 days rest. The Lakers are going to make this a half court game and simply clean up in the post. You got the #1 ranked team in the Lakers in rebounds playing Boston who is ranked dead last on the boards.

Lakers is the first game that jumped out at me bro!! I should have warned you about the Portland game last night. If you saw my post from yesterday I had Spurs, MAVs and Orlando all as my outright leans yesterday but locked in Spurs and Mavs in my ML parlay. Took houston straight for 1 unit. Although I didn't post it played it last min when my book had it at 7.5. My gut was ML had a feeling Port would let down after a BS lose to OKC. Thought they would come out sluggish.

not crazy about this pick. Im in Boston and the celts have hit stride finally and Pierce is back to being himself while Garnett is quietly playing very well himself. Rondo is back and the Lakers have no chance to stop him as they struggle terribly with top point guards. LA is 3-9 on the road and this game is huge for the Celts who are going on a long road trip soon and need all the home wins possible before they head out west. Good Luck here but this game scares me as far as the Lakers are concerned.

Now a bet i feel very strong about is the Warriors plus the 6 tonight and am thinking its a far better play than the poor Lakers are tonight...not to hijack just giving my opinion

don't forget about Jermaine O'Neil in the middle for the Cs either ya i know hes old but hes still 7 feet tall and can D up and rebound. With him Garnett and Pierce all playing now they can rebound with most teams when there all on the court playing which hasn't been the case most game this year. Any rebound advantage the Lakers have will be more than nullified by there HUGE advantage at the point guard spot for the Celtics. The spot the Lakers have the biggest advantage is Gasol who the C's don't have many answers for but hes not playing well this year yet. I'd really really think twice before making this my biggest play of the night. Celtics and Lakers hare each other and are a natural rivalry and those games are always a tough bet.

Saying all that..my first thought on this game was the Lakers really..lol but then i started thinking about it and it quickly was scratched off my list as no play once a recalled Rondos back healthy and how the Lakers cant stop any young point guards from penetrating the lane and rondo is one of the best in the game at doing just that. I mean did the Lakers really think they could get away with Fisher as there starting point guard this whole season?

I already locked in Celtics last night and now i wish i made it a no play cause ur on the lakers. I dont like the lakers here though. Celtics match up fairly well for the big men advantage that lakers have. and as said above rondo is gonna run circles around fisher as he usually does. If ray allen doesnt go cold as ice, like he did the one game against them in the playoffs, Celtics should win this one

Rondo's not a Game Changer . He's successful in several areas but lacks perimeter skills and is a terrible Free throw shooter for a PG. He matches up well with most PGs in this league but this is a play on the LAKERS . I don't use match up scenarios too often in my capping criteria. How about them Cavs last night. THEY BEAT THE CLIPS WITHOUT A PG.
