Don't fall for the trap...3 strong plays

HOUSTON  ML. Houston won all their games last season at home. Let's give credit to Brooks, playing like an allstar, I predicted this guy would lead his team in scoring. LA not the same without Gasol.

TORONTO -8. Detroit is a jump shooting team, they won't shoot it well tonight, and Toronto will light them up, winning by 20.

MEMPHIS +6. Memphis always beat the Warriors, they will continue that tonight. Gasol and Randolph will be too much.

8-15 RECORD

Sunday's NBA Game Breakdowns and picks

New Orleans at Boston. With the pick up of Rasheed and a full strength KG back, the Celtics remind me of when they got the big 3 for the first time, they went on an insane streak to start the season ATS. I was wrong about these Celtics, but they are looking like the best team in the NBA at the moment. The Hornets are struggling with West starting the season slow and honestly they are really lacking a true 3rd option to score the ball on offense. Look for Boston to continue shooting the ball red hot, they should put up 110 without any problems. BOSTON -11

Chicago at Miami. Jermaine O'neal looks like he's close to his allstar form to start the season. It seems the linemakers are not giving the Heat much respect to start the season. It makes sense for them to be -4.5 since they were home giving up 5 to the Knicks. The Bulls got destroyed last game at Boston, and they will show up tonight after that effort. I would lean Miami, but I think the OVER would be a stronger play here. The Heat will score over 100 easily, and since I expect the Bulls to come to play, they should score close to the mid 90s. OVER 193

Portland at Oklahoma City. The Thunder are the up and coming team at home with something to prove. Portland comes into a tough situation tonight. After playing well last night and losing, it'll be tough for Portland to play well, other than Brandon Roy, I don't expect much else from the others. This game will be big for the Thunder to prove they are going to... [More]

Brandon Jennings

This kid is the real deal, with his success, going over to Europe may be the new trend for top Hoops phenoms here in America. I predict soon kids will be going over at the age of 16 to get paid and learn the game. Jennings is a superstar, he will carry this team to wins with his will and play. He had a 5 mins stretch in that Detroit game last night that I haven't seen in a long time.
