The Tour takes a short drive down I-30 from Ft. Worth to Irving for the Byron Nelson this week. The event is held in Las Colinas at the TPC Four Seasons Resort. The course is Par 70 and measures around 7,200 yds. A few years back the course was in terrible shape and the pros were threatening to never return. It has since made a complete 360 and the course is beautiful again and the pros love it. The new design has large undulating greens and the fairways are lined with trees. As always...fairways, greens and putting solid will get you a high finish this week. I think GIR's and Par 4 Scoring are very important stats to look at when capping. Also, guys that did good last week will most likely do well this week. It's pretty much the same as Colonial is the sense of shotmaking.
