as in seen play, i dont mean watching highlights of a team before your time.

UNLV REBELS   90-91.....destroyed everyone in their path, including a mauling of #2 arkansas on the hogs home court.  if this team wasn't on the take (cough, cough) they would have finished the season undefeated.

Last Louisville team to go to the Final 4 w Francisco Garcia/Taquean Dean/Ellis Myles etc. Not the most memorable squad but they were solid.

My time goes back about 10 years. So, I'm going to have to go with either Kansas in 08(best of a final four that featured four no. 1 seeds).....or Duke in 99. I know they didn't win, but neither did UNLV in 91.

1996 Kentucky the team went 10 deep.  MVP was Ron Mercer and he was not even a starter.

1996 Patino's Wildcats!! I think they were down 16 at the half to Syracuse and still came back to win by double digits.

you guys are all young. The best team I saw play was the 72-73 UCLA Bruins. Bill Walton, Dave Meyers, Larry Farmer, Keith Wilkes all had careers in the NBA and three others played for a few years. They were 30-0 during the regular season. All of them could play today, they were that athletic.

Im from Vegas and that 90-91 squad was so good I got so lucky I went to a UNLV camp as a kid and did well and got to know the coaching staff...I spent countless hours working with Coach Grg (Tarkanian's right hand man presently George Karl's top asst with the Nuggets) on my game and he was nice enough to put me on recruit status so every home game he'd leave me 3 tickets...after the game I had access to the locker room I even had Larry Johnson's phone number...that team was good and the town was electric it was the closest thing to a pro team that we had...UNLV was fun to watch long before that team I remember all the way back to Reggie Theus, Sudden Sam Smith, Anthony Jones, etc Some argue UNLV's 77 squad was just as tough as UNLV's 90-91 squad
