PlayOffs Record 21W-13L-1P

A few of you have accused me of being a Laker homer (george is getting upset, robbie ) But that's not true at all!
Honestly I separate my betting from my heart as far as I can. I never let my emotions get in the way of what I'm about to wager.
Let me just state here for the record that when NBA season started, everyone, me included, expected the Celtics to be where they are now. They simply are a bloody brilliant outfit. You can't get better than them, and if you argue with that fact, then you're an idiot with all due respect. Let's just try and forget for a moment about how they got here, past the useless Hawks, or the Cavs and their up n down games against the Pistons. But if you look back in the beginning of the season, that's the real Boston Celtics.
Whereas the Lakers... Well no one (perhaps a few die hard fans) expected them to get where they are today. No one thought the Lakers would do well this season, AT ALL! Here in Australia you could get em at 61/1 at one point. Imagine you'd invested a grand back then..you'd be 61 grand richer by the end of game 7  (there goes the Laker homer again I hear you say) Nah but really, the Lakers are the surprise package here and not Boston.
But let's get to the point i.e. What does game 4 hold for us as far as our money is concerned?
Some books opened the lakers -11.5!!! Most have adjusted back down to 7 now. Great as Boston are, I believe they'll lose tomorrow and they will not cover the spread either. Lakers are tough at home, we all agree on that hopefully. Just to add to that, Boston have been attrocious on the rd!  Rondo may or may not be available but he's not 100% whatever the case. Lakers are playing tough defence too, especially at home. Such factors and the line where it's set and how it's been moving point strongly toward one play only
LAKERS -7.5 is my 5Unit bet for tomorrow!
Best of luck everyone and hope we hit
Cheers
AUSSIE

I can dig it! I predict LA to win tomorrow also hopefully they cover too. If C's was to steal one on the rd it would most likely be the 5th. Best Of Luck Aussieguy

Top of the day Aussie,

Good luck tonite

In the Conf. finals, Lakers looked like a team with the superior chemistry in dispatching the Spurs easily; whereas the Celts were still showing some chinks in their armor. We have yet to see that superior chemistry from the Lakers in this series... and Celtics must be givin their due credit for being the disrupters.

During their run at the end of game 2 (where they almost stole the game in Boston,) it seemed as if they got that mojo back... in game 3, The Lake-crew played well enough to win, in spite of Kobe. During large stretches Kobe looked like he was forcing, playing too fast, committing unforced errors and forcing bad shots. I think they were actually a little lucky to come out with the win.

I cant imagine Kobe -not- getting into a better flow with his teammates tonite, and I hope for our sake, that we see some signs of that Laker Chemistry that was so evident in The Lakers dispatching of the Spurs.

Lakers -7 (bought the 1/2) it is.

Lets  this in Aussie.

Rondo being injured may help the Celtics.
Ray Allen is more than capable of running the point, even Pierce. I don't understand why Rivers isn't playing Tony Allen though. With Allen in the game the Celtics are 37-5 for the season.
So why do I think Rondo being out will help the Celts? Rondo isn't looking to shoot and the Lakers are using this as an advantage by double teaming off of him. If another player, other than ET, is in I see no problems at all for that player getting open, I mean wide open shots. The question is do those shots go in.
I didn't bet a side today because I have the Celtics for the series. I am actually praying the Lakers win tonight because I will definitely be on Boston heavy for Game 5.

GL with your bet

With Kobe covering him?  jesus man, what the hell are you watching.

As a matter of fact I'll ask you the same question. Allen at point forces Bryant to play honest D. And if he doesn't Allen won't have any issue getting 20-25 points.

Kobe ain't Jordan except for in LA. Everywhere else he's a wannabe.

Nice post Aussie ,

Good Luck tonight. I may go back on the under tonight.

if ray allen is running the point, then he wont be coming off screens to get his shot, all he will be doing is trying to facilitate the offense which would make him even less of a threat offensively to score. i think boston is in deep doo doo if rondo does not play tonight or for the rest of the series

Aussie-Ialso like lakers-7 or 7 1/2-look at boston games on the road against sub par atlanta-and phil-and and they lost by the spread-lakers have a chance to win by double digits-kobe will not miss 5 free throws like last game-the lakers will push the ball and run tonight-this series will still go 7 games- sincerely-ellwdmd

I'm on the Lakers. Cheers!

I had them for the series at the beginning of the series and when they were down 1-0. Also played them more when they were down 2-0. If Lakers don't win tonight I'll have to start playing agains them to back my series play up. GO LAKERS GO!!!!!

Ray allen won't be running the point...cassell, house and tony allen will.....I can see house getting time tonight and knocking down some shots....tony allen is only good driving to the hoop offensively, but he is a MONSTER on defense, better on that end of the court then Rondo is.
