Let's start College Football on the right foot fellas. May it be a prosperous year for everyone.

Now to our game - As far as Troy's concerned, nothing much or significant has taken place in their line up. For them it's pretty much a new season for the same old crew. Middle Tenn have had a complete face lift, the only trouble with the face lifts is that the appearance always looks good but the old dying body inside is still the same, minus the wrinkles of course, which can be very deceptive to the outside observer!

The books are trying to sell to the outside observers this face lift makeover by making Mid.Tennessee only a 4.5 point dog! As for me, I don't buy it but there'll be plenty who will. I hope I am the one smiling at the end of this though . Eventhough Troy is travelling here, this will be a blow out in my opinion! Big play

I had a write up on this over a week ago.This is one of my favorites.I used Troy on several team parlays.At that time the line was -5. GO TROY

Hi Aussie - You and I are going to have some fun this year. I did not know that you followed the NCAA. I like in Akron Ohio, so I have an intimate knowledge, or at least I like to thnk so.

I cannot support your Troy play as the home team often covers in NCAA football. The back door cover can come into play here as well. To risky for me, but best of luck to you on it.

My best NCAA play this far is Wyoming -10 1/2 over Ohio. This is a case of one team having many returning starters and the other in rebuild mode. Plus the Bobcats play at the horseshoe next week. I view the "look ahead" factor as an important one to consider.

On paper, Troy is better than MTSU. But 6.5 points better OTR in first game of season?

6.5 is a nice cushion for a home team with nothing to lose this Thursday. Very nice situation for the Blue Raiders.

MTSU will score.....Troy "WILL NOT" stuff them on defense.

Laying 6.5 in this setting on the road with a team that won't stop the other offense is way too risky for anything greater than a chump change bet.

indrep, hell yeah mate, we'll do some 'book damage' in the College football this year too! Of course, I look fwd to reading your thoughts and insight here too.

CCL, that's exactly the point mate. You said it, Troy is the better team but the books "read" the bettors' mind and they know that people are willing to lay 6 in the first game of the seaon. If this was a month or so down the road , the line would be about 17 pts buffer.

I would be surprised if this doesn't read something like 41-17 by the end of the game

Aussie I respect your opinion, but my opinion is middle Tennessee with the defense returning and a descent offense they will not only hang with Troy but they will win by 3 points. Theres a mismatch on the offensive line and Middle T will disrupt that new Quarterback. Just my opinion I will have a better right up by the end of the week. It is ironic that you posted this play Aussie I received this email from a sports service I use that is very accurate about three weeks ago. The only preseason pick I have lost with themwas NYG vs. Cle witch was the worst played game you could imagine. JayM. that is unbelievable mate. I am getting really pissed off with this. This company that you use is skirting around plagiarism!!! There's been way too many times now that I read my picks, posts, and analysis posted in different websites around the globe (betfair, was the last one who had word for word copy and paste all my Tennis picks throughout Wimbledon!!!!) Now, These guys that posted this pick, haven't used it word for word, but have slightly modified the ideas and concept and using it as their pick. I don't know, I could give them the benefit of the doubt and say it was a coincidence that these guys' pick resembles much of my selection, but honestly it's been way too many times now that people are using, selling, and touting my picks pretending is their crap!

Anyhow, let's hope we have ourselves a winner here and that will be nice. That's what counts.

Aussie -You say Troy is returning the same old crew, but they will have a new QB, new RB, and all new starters at the WR position. Only 1 of there top 5 recievers returns this year. Midd. Tenn is revamping the roster but Troy is in a similar situation in this game.

I dont really have a lean on this game either way but i think Troy will be alot different without Omar Haugabook at QB and also the fact that there Offensive Coordinator went to Auburn. The new OC is also the youngest Offensive coordinator in the nation at 27 years old.

I'm on the other side, so I can't say I dislike seeing so many on Troy.

Yes, Troy returns 2 more starters than MT. That being said, MT returns it's top passer and runner (Dwight Dasher), 2 of it's top 3 receivers, 5 of it's top 8 tacklers, 4 of it's top 6 pash rushers, it's best DB, and all it's top special teams players.

Troy lost it's QB, top 2 rushers, top 2 receivers, it's off coordinator, returns a bunch of o line players, a few solid defenders, but lost all it's key special teamers.

I'll take the 6.5 points, home field, and go against a Troy team that is not what is has been in years past.

MTS is the play here fella s, one thing no one has mentioned is that troy averaged giving up 190 yds rushing last year and the only d line player worth a hoot is kenny mainor who will probally wish had went pro instead of comming back this year. And MTS has a two headed monster at QB. (craddock and dasher) So if by some miracle Troy does put the brakes on the run game, which they won t, craddock is a solid back up plan. When MTS was healthy they played good ball against better teams than Troy. Take the 6.5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love reading your posts man. Was wondering how you did in college football last year and if it is one of your better sports.

Also-about how many college football plays do you have each weekend on average,and when do you release them? Do you put out plays for action on the Thurs night games or only ones you really like?

College football isn't my forte, I must say mate. The last few seasons I've played a limited ammount of College Football and Basketball! However those few that I've played have been money most of the time! Of course It does not compare with my NBA, NFL, MLB or TENNIS, but because I've made very few college plays, and they've been quality bets, my winning percentage there would probably be much higher (around 80%) than the other sports where I wager daily (around 64-65%) Does that make sense, or not?

I strictly play the ones that I really and truly love and that jump out at me.
