Ryan Dempster vs Mat Latos

Dempsters last game pitched 1.2 innings, with 9 ER
Dempeters last 3 games ERA 5.17
Latos last 3 games is 0-3 with a 13.94 ERA
Latos last game 0-1 lasted 5 innings 91 pitches

Ok, I know it's the clubs two best pitchers, but I have to jump on
that 6.5 Over the way they've been pitching lately.....

Why would anything normal be expected with the way games have been going lately?

if you watched the game last night there were some balls crushed that would have been home runs anywhere but Petco.  Also some bays in the gap that would have been doubles were easily caught.  The ball is playing dead there at night and neither the cubs nor the Padres are hitting right now.  I am not sure even in Dempster sat their and threw the ball right down the middle if they would score enough.  A day game maybe but a night game is hard to play the over.  Why do you think every padre starter has Cy Young numbers?  its the field.
