The Detroit Lions traditionally play on Thanksgiving Day and, traditionally, they always lose. Well, they’re probably going to lose straight-up again because their overall record is 0 and 11. That’s right, 0 and 11.
The Detroit Lions have not won a single game this season. Scary, but this might be the best chance that NFL sports betting fans have ever had of seeing a team go 0 and 16 straight-up. Detroit is just awful. How will they do against a Tennessee Titans team coming off of their first loss?
Well, they’re not going to win but they are getting a lot of points and their record against the online sportsbook betting spread is 4 and 7. So, they do have a chance of beating the s... [More]

The Indianapolis Colts have started to really get it going this past month. After starting out the season slowly, the Colts are now all of a sudden 7 and 4 straight-up. But their record against the BetUS online wagering spread still isn’t all that good at 5 and 6. The Colts have gotten their offense to click and their defense to play well enough for sports betting fans to at least consider an online bet on this team. They aren’t dominating teams but they are winning. That might be enough for this game.
The Cleveland Browns are a sharp contrast to the Indianapolis Colts. There were high expectations for this team going into the 2008 – 2009 NFL Season, but nothing has panned out for the Browns. They are 4 and 7 straight-up and there’s no doubt that Romeo Crenell will be looking for a job at the end of the season. Surprisingly, even with their terrible straight-up record the Cleveland Browns are 6 and 5 against the BetUS online betting spread.
Here are the BetUS online betting odds for this game.

Thanksgiving means turkey and online
NFL betting! Two teams that come to mind on Turkey Day is the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys. Detroit has the honors of hosting the Tennessee Titans, meanwhile, the Dallas Cowboys
welcome the Seahawks Seattle to the NFL wagering feast.
The Lions (0-11 SU, 4-7 ATS) haven't covered at home all season, meanwhile, the Titans (10-1 SU, 9-2 ATS) have cashed away from home in every contest with a 21 game 16-5 ATS road record. The Lions are 5-14 ATS in their last 19 overall and 35-32-1 SU on Thanksgiving; Tennessee 4-2 SU. NFL betting fans investing in Tennessee should get their turkey stuffed with cash.
Dallas (7-4 SU, 5-6 ATS) is 5-11 ATS in their last 16 games overall and when facing Seattle (2-9 SU, 4-6-1 ATS), the road team has covered the last five. As well, the dog has barked in the last four meetings. On Turkey Day, the Cowboys are 26-14-1 SU; Seahawks 1-1 SU.
While enjoying an evening turkey sandwich take in the Arizona Cardinals (7-4 SU, 7-4 ATS) and hosting Philadelphia Eagles (5-5-1 SU, 6-5 ATS) matchup. Despite Donavon McNabb's getting benched after going 8-of-18 for 59 yards with two picks and a fum...

Week 12's online
NFL betting festivities kicked off on Thursday, when the Bungles stumbled into the Steel City, which was the uprising to the biggest question of the week: Which is more pathetic? A) Cincinnati's performance versus Pittsburgh. B) Detroit blowing a 17-0 first quarter lead to remain winless. C) Donavon McNabb's unawareness that an NFL game couldn't result in a tie. Or D) Push.
Answer: D) Push! That's a lock! And, who said there's no such thing as a lock in the world of
sports betting?
Thursday, Pittsburgh (8-3 SU, 5-6 ATS) limited lowly Cincinnati (1-9-1 SU, 4-7 ATS) to six first downs in a 27-10 fifth straight win over the Bengals, its longest streak since an eight-game run in the early 1990s. With wide receiver Chad Ocho Cinco deactivated for violating team rules, arriving late then falling asleep twice during a meeting before coach Marvin Lewis told him to leave, the Bengals were outgained 364-208. I'd say the kissing between Ocho Cinco and Lewis is over. The home cover moved the Steelers to just 2-4 ATS at Heinz Field this season, as owners of a 3-2 ATS mark on the road where they'll be on Sunday versus New England. Pittsburgh...

BetUS Sportsbook offers the best sports betting odds and NCAAF Props an online gambler can dream of. So who is favored to win the Heisman going into a crucial Week 13 war field. The guy that the big quarterbacks in the league have to be scared of is Iowa Junior Shonn Greene. He’s the most consistent running-back threat in the entire country, despite the headline-worthy performances of guys like Donald Brown and Knowshon Moreno from Georgia. Is he good enough to crack the ranks of the talent ahead of him?
Graham Harrell (QB) – Texas Tech Raiders
It’s been quite a season for the senior from Texas Tech. Hurling fire bombs through the Texas skies has propelled this strong-armed surgeon to the top of the Heisman candidate list. With 4,077 yards and 36 touchdowns, with only five picks, Harrell is leading the way. The biggest game of this coming weekend is undoubtedly between Harrell and Bradford. If he can ... [More]

Arguably the nation’s biggest rivalry returns this week, although it has lost some of its luster this year when the Michigan Wolverines (3-8 SU, 2-9 ATS) travel to Columbus to take on the hated Ohio State Buckeyes (9-2 SU, 4-6 ATS).
Rich Rodriguez’s boys from Ann Arbor have had a dreadful NCAA football betting season this year and for the first time in 40 years will not finish the season with a winning record. Meanwhile, Jim Tressel’s Buckeyes are looking to make it five in a row over the Wolverines; head coach Jim Tressel has yet to lose in Ohio Stadium against hated Michigan.
Even though this game isn’t as important for either side as it’s been the past two seasons, Michigan HC Rich Rodriguez wants to get the win here and build on something for next season. His Wolverines have been tough to watch at times this season and Wolverines bettors have watched them post a woeful sports betting mark of 2-9 ATS, the third worst in the nation against the NCAA lines.
On senior day last Saturday, the Wolverines looked to go out with a win against Northwester... [More]

The kick-off time listed for this game says 1:00 pm but the Cowboys usually play in the afternoon. Football betting fans should check the kick-off time on Saturday just to be sure. This is a strange rivalry as nobody can forget the 1981 game between these two teams when Dwight Clark caught that Joe Montana pass in the back of the end zone signaling the start of the 49’ers dynasty.
The 49’ers proved to have some spunk last week as they decimated the St. Louis Rams. Coach Mike Singletary has definitely improved this team and the mobility of new quarterback Shaun Hill is a welcome change to what was a stagnant offense. The 49’ers are still awful straight-up at 3 and 7 and against the BetUS online wagering spread at 4 and 6.
The Dallas Cowboys bounced back big time in their game against the Washington Redskins this past Sunday night. Tony Romo makes a huge difference for this team. He has definitely earned the right to no longer be called Mr. Jessica Simpson. The guy is a flat out baller. He gives this team confidence and it was on display in D.C. B... [More]

In the BetUS NFL sports betting odds, the Steelers are listed as a 10.5-point favorite, with a posted total of 35 points.

The Tennessee Titans (10-0 SU, 9-0-1 ATS) are still the NFL's only unbeaten team, and on Sunday they will try to keep their record perfect when they hook up with the New York Jets (7-3 SU, 6-4 ATS) in NFL sports betting action that is set to get underway at 1 PM ET at LP Field (natural turf) in Nashville.

The San Diego Chargers and Pittsburgh Steelers do battle this Sunday in what many football betting fans felt would be a game for supremacy in the AFC Conference. Not so this season.
Sports betting fans that have been following the NFL so far will notice that the San Diego Chargers are a serious disappointment. They haven’t even dominated the AFC West much less the AFC Conference. They were a huge favorite in the BetUS online sportsbook to win the Super Bowl this season. Last Sunday, they beat the lowly Kansas City Chiefs by a single point. Now, they travel to Pittsburgh.
Are the Steelers for real? Yes, they are. They have lost two out of their last three games but those losses were against the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants. Pittsburgh is just better than the Steelers. The one issue is that starting quarterback Ben Rothelisberger may not play for Pitt. If that’s the case, then online sportsbook wagering fans will n... The pursuit of perfection continues on Sunday afternoon for the Tennessee Titans (9-0, 8-1 ATS) when they head down to Jacksonville Municipal Stadium to do battle with the Jacksonville Jaguars (4-5, 3-6 ATS). BetUS Sportsbook will have all of the action for sports betting fans until the game kicks off at 4:15 on CBS.
The Titans won the first match-up between these teams earlier this season, knocking off the Jags 17-10 in Nashville. The Titans were disrespected that day, as they were tabbed as three-point home underdogs. It was the debut of RB Chris Johnson, who turned heads by recording 127 total yards and a touchdown in the victory. The ‘D’ recorded a whopping seven sacks and two interceptions, and a similar effort on Sunday will keep the ’72 Dolphins waiting another week to pop the champagne.
Many NFL betting experts thought that the undefeated season would end in the “Windy City,” but the Titans would have none of it, knocking off the Bears 21-14 and successfully covering the spread as three-point road favorites. It was a banner day for QB Kerry Collins, who completed 30-of-41 passes for 289 yards and two scores. That was the first multi-touchdown game for the former Penn State quarterback since ... [More]

The NFC North will be on display on Sunday afternoon, and sports betting aficionados get another chance to boost their bankroll when the Chicago Bears (5-4, 4-4-1 ATS) do battle with their rivals, the Green Bay Packers (4-5, 6-3 ATS) at Lambeau Field. This will be the first of two meetings this season between these traditional rivals.
Last year, the Bears swept the Packers, winning 35-7 at home, and 27-20 in Green Bay. Chicago has won six of the L/8 meetings with the Pack, and is 5-2-1 ATS during that span.
The Bears ran into the buzz saw otherwise known as the Tennessee Titans last weekend. They gave the Titans a run for their money though as three-point underdogs. QB Rex Grossman went 20-of-37 for 173 yards, two total touchdowns, and one pick in relief of Kyle Orton. RB Matt Forte had another strong game, racking up 126 total yards and a touchdown. The rookie now has 995 total yards and seven total scores on the year.
The most alarming stat of the game was that the Bears defense held the Titans, one of the best rushing teams in the NFL, to just 20 rushing yards. It wasn’t enough for Bears bettors though, as Chicago still lost the game 21-14. It’s still unknown whether Orton will return to the lineup or not this season, but in his starts this season, the Bears have scored at least 17 points in every game.
A 52-yard field goal attempt from Mason Crosby went narrowly... [More]

The Minnesota Vikings, (5-4, 3-6 ATS, 6-3 O/U) have won two consecutive games in the BetUS Sportsbook and four of five overall.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers, (6-3, 5-4 ATS, 4-5 O/U) also won their last time out and have won three of four coming into this NFC showdown.
Both teams will look to maintain their winning ways when they battle at Raymond James Stadium in this matchup on Sunday.
The Vikings squeaked by the Green Bay Packers on Sunday, winning 28-27 at home, but failed to cover the spread for NFL Sports betting buffs as 2.5-point home favorites in the BetUS Sportsbook.
Quarterback Gus Frerotte completed just 15 of 28 passes for 151 yards with two touchdowns and three interceptions but Minnesota overcame his miscues to win largely because of elusive running back Adrian Peterson.
Peterson rushed for a season-high 192 yards and one touchdown on 30 carries, scoring the go-ahead touchdown on a beautiful 29-yard run with 2:22 remaining.
"I can't compare him to anybody," Vikings ... [More]

NFL betting continues its 11th week of action on Sunday afternoon, and sports betting fans will get their chance to sink their teeth into all of the action when the Houston Texans (3-6, 2-7 ATS) look for a way to stop their slump against the surging Indianapolis Colts (5-4, 4-5 ATS). Earlier this season, the Colts stormed back from 17 points behind with just over 4:00 remaining to shock the Texans 31-27 at Reliant Stadium back in Week 5. The Texans have still only beaten the Colts once in their franchises brief history.
Before QB Matt Schaub tore his MCL two weeks ago, the last that Texans bettors saw of Sage Rosenfels was against these same Colts. For the first three and a half quarters of the game, he was brilliant. But in the final six minutes or so, the backup QB got sacked and fumbled, tried flying over a pile of Colts and fumbled, then threw the game-icing interception. He finished the day completing 21-of-33 passes for 246 yards and a touchdown, but also had those three turnovers that did the Texans in.
Last week against the Ravens, he had another miserable start, going 23-of-38 for 294 yards and a touchdown, but he also threw four interceptions in Houston’s 41-13 home defeat. Th... [More]

The Florida Gators (8-1 SU, 7-2 ATS) have been a non-stop covering machine lately with five straight sports betting covers for football bettors and will try to extend that streak when they host the Ol’ Ball Coach Steve Spurrier’s South Carolina Gamecocks (7-3 SU, 5-3-1 ATS) Saturday afternoon. South Carolina has been hot lately covering four of its last five against the NCAA wagering line. Meanwhile, the Gators have been amazing this season in conference for college football bettors by sporting a 6-1 ATS record in SEC play.
Last week against the Razorbacks, the star of the show was WR Kenny McKinley whose seven catches for 120 yards and a touchdown made him the only skill position player to go for over 100 yards in the game. Despite Spurrier’s constant rotation of QBs Chris Smelley and Stephen Garcia, McKinley still happened to put up solid numbers.
The defense was also very good in the Gamecocks 34-21 college football gambling win over Arkansas, forcing three turnovers and sacking the Dick brothers six times. This defensive performance came a week after their best defensive performance against a conference foe when they beat Tennessee 27-6. In that game, they held the Vols to just 207 total yards and 11 first downs while forcing three turnovers, sa... [More]
