No I’m not referring to the host of
BetCenter, Damon Durante, but I’m referring to how we all feel after getting lambasted by this 2010
NFL betting season. Nobody is feeling the pain more than Damon as he drags his knuckles through the most confusing season we’ve had in nearly a decade.
Wade Phillips is gone. Channing Crowder is an idiot. The Cleveland Browns upended the New England Patriots and Damon’s world is on fire as he brings us another episode of
BetCenter to prep you for all the NFL Week 10 betting action you can get your hands on. Check him out below:
http://video.betus.com/betcenter/sports-betting-betcenter-boxing.htmlOne thing that Damon and I discuss week in and week out is how to measure the ATS records of some teams. For example, the Indianapolis Colts are 5-2-1 ATS this season leading the AFC in sports betting, but the surprising Detroit Lions are chugging ahead of the pack at 7-1 ATS in the NFC. The Cowboys, meanwhile, are the worst
sports betting team in all of football at 1-7 ATS. What does that mean?
Simply that the Colts are achieving to the extent that they should be, the Lions are better than everyone thinks and the Dallas Cowboys are terrible. I’ve encouraged people to track ATS record not as an indication of how good or bad a team is, but simply how they measure up to the expectations of the oddsmakers and handicappers. Use the ATS records to gauge how well a team is playing under certain conditions and only that.
Straying away from Damon’s disastrous homer picks in
NFL betting, the Lord of Loudmouth instead invites you to bet on the boxing extravaganza at Cowboys Stadium this weekend when Manny Pacquiao faces Antonio Margarito as a -500 favorite. The best prop bet for this fight, according to Damon, is a 10th round knockout of Margarito with the victory going to the mega star himself – The Pacman.
Another reason to bet on Pacquiao in boxing this weekend is because
BetUS has a feature called “knockout insurance”. If you bet on Manny and he gets TKO’d in the first three rounds, you get your money back. You read that last sentence correctly –
BetUS will refund your money if you take Pacquiao and he gets torn asunder in the first three rounds.
As always, Damon brings the pain along with a sprinkle of awesome in
BetCenter. He gave away some free NFL tickets last weekend, but if you want a crack at $50 of freeplay, then you’ll to find out how by watching the video.
