Tiger is missing the Mojo

I have been defending Tiger for the past month as others have said he is slipping and  that he has lost his edge I have maintained that his talent will rise again and he will regain his premier status on the tour. As I watched his play today I'm just not as sure as I once was I see a few critical flaws in his game that are unrelated to his swing, his strategy or the elements. That only leaves his emotional connection and for sure he just doesn't have it. The rhythm, the patience and the confidence are all obviously missing, he seems on edge in pain with his approach unable to grasp the reason and that is displayed by his flashes of anger.
He may shoot 63 tomorrow but will that  be the exception in the future rather than the norm.I am not so sure he will regain his game until he clears the mental cloud from his approach to play he must re-establish the pleasure he once had and displayed in just playing the game. As a previous golf great said, Golf is a good walk spoiled, and Tiger is spoiling his walk before he even gets going.Maybe we can blame the family life for being a distraction or the recent injuries but he alone must figure it out and where I thought it would be rather soon I now must say it looks to be later. A Tiger fade and an odds leveling is inevitable.

He sure is angry and does not seem to enjoy much about the game lately.

I dont think he deserves top ranking given his output the last two years, too bad there isnt a strong challenger like Duval or VJ was for a while, players that win regularly.

Jack went through the mental stage when he started having a family, golf wasnt the top priority for a while, but a good golfer never loses that desire or love of the game.

Tiger does not have it and hasnt for a while, maybe he should have sat out longer after the injury.

Isn't it sad to see this? The Great Almighty Tiger Woods is struggling! He is human after all! Hey, all the great ones go through it. He's just missing a little mojo right now. You can really tell by his putting performances. Dude can't putt for shit right now. The drive will come back...

He's been through droughts before and has come back stronger than ever.
It's pretty clear that he's enjoying his young family and some time away from the limelight. That has to affect his performance, but he's too skilled and too competitive to let it all go south.
Tiger will rise again

My guess is he'll do fine tomorrow and make the cut.

-5 thru 4 now. I threw down $80 on Furyk +215 to beat him this round. Holy crap I need to see some yellow or red on that scorecard.

will we see a 61 today? just like last year...sorry ass 1st round, 61 in the 2nd round to make the cut and I think he ended up placing 2nd for the week

he's killing it right now. Just when you count someone down, they shove it in your face. He may make his first par now on the 15th hole.

This course is a cupcake, seeing Lowery toss a -9 told me that.

I think the course is too soft and we will see some -20 or higher winning score which is terrible golf.

I take the British Open over this crap any day.

Eldrick starts Birdie, Birdie, Eagle, Birdie, Birdie     Sounds like me in Hot Shots Golf... -21 for tournaments and shit... LOL

You think he's focused today? I don't think he's EVER shot a 59 in competition has he? This could be a round for the ages!!

The thing that sucks AJ is there is no live TV coverage to watch Woods tear it up today ....all the other TW is unfocused...TW has to clean up his mouth threads is so fucking tired...theres a camera on woods every 5 seconds...I followed Craig Stadler one day now THAT was an experience, makes woods sound like a nun me and my buddy were laughing are asses off and that was over 10yrs ago........the thing I will say he has been less consistant but alls I know that kind of knee surgery he had was a bitch, ask Els, to think hes 100% right now wouldn't be too bright.....if he keeps having these lulls will he dump Haney? I think that is possible....

-3 is the cut line, what a joke.

If the Buick Open is just another cupcake date, I hope it does go away.

What won at Doral -20? theres a handful of very low scoring events every year....I think mixing it up is good.....this might be the easiest course they play I agree..

uhoh here he comes, I took him not to win earlier today got a great price I think -145 for 3 units but hope the field goes way low this afternoon
Gulgo says:

There are a lot of guys who have not started the second round yet who can go low.
hammr says:

Every time Tiger has shot 63 in second round he has won.
Gulgo says:

A 65 today and on top of the leaderboard again.

Tiger's slump was a short one this time.

Bluefin says:

He looks to be winning this going away with his B game. The great intimadator.
wallstreetcappers says:

What a total snoozer, nobody in contention made a move. The only players who moved were so far out to begin with.

I agree didn't win with his best....field was weak...so another words a lose-lose tournement for the Tiger haters...if he loses he's unfocused and game is going down the shitter...if he wins well the field was weak and the course was easy.........would be tough to put up with all the ignorant bs on a weekly basis but I suppose you get the coin he does he can handle it and he's obviously used to it....still don't think its a slam dunk he wins the PGA, the way his year is going nothing will surprise............
wallstreetcappers says:

After the second round he didnt have to press at all.

Tiger at his worst is when he is forced to take chances.

All he had to do is not implode on one of the easiest tour stops of the year.

He did have a mistake drink shot today, but the course is so pathetic that he had just a wedge shot to a very open green and got up and down.

This tourney was a joke and you are right about the field, a bunch of no-names.

So everybody had their say.Is he off or not? Obviously not off enough not to stand above the crowd given the field last week at the Buick.

Rumblings from the range can be felt in NW Florida as Tiger practices like a demon will he be ready for the PGA?
