Tiger boards The Privacy

As all the controversy swirls around the front gates of Ilseworth Tiger sneaks out the back and climbs aboard his yacht The Privacy and escapes to the Caribbean and can you blame him

Tiger joins a long list of athletes, politicians and celebrities that have been outed publicly for infidelity. The smoking voice mail tape aired last night on entertainment tonight appeared to be the straw that broke the camels back and forced the every silent Tiger to confess to his human frailty and plead for understanding while he attempts damage control.  Elin's Escalade is still in the drive at his home and no one seems to know if she is there or with him on the yacht.

If we take a look at what other bad boy friends that have had problems with the press have advised, we see Barkley and John Daley advising him to come clean and admit to it all. Daley even went as far to suggest that he take his wife and family west to support his tournament even though he has withdrawn for supposed "injuries sustained in the crash.

Would Tigers presence at the tournament really have been a good idea I think not.He would have been at the center of the swirl of media frenzy and the players surely would have found the media hub bub a great distraction. Tiger would have constantly been saying No comment and that it is a private matter but would the Press have let up and gone on to cover purely golf, I think not. He did the players and the tournament a favor by removing himself from the equation.

What does all this prove that Tiger is a true dog and a selfish spoiled hypocrite and that he does not deserve the lavish praises that are lumped on him.Maybe or maybe it just shows that  this modern world we live in builds heroes out of paper and plastic not flesh and blood. We don't forgive our heroes we hold them responsible for maintaining what we ourselves can not and we demand squeaky clean images worthy of  white hat cowboys in old westerns.

Tiger has never been a white hat but he has always made great efforts to present the image expected of him and now should we really be all that surprised to discover he is just as personally needy as all the rest of us and capable of risking his family and his image for a little piece of strange, after all the presidency wasn't enough to keep Bill Clinton from the the doghood club and now Tiger just takes his place as a new member.

Tiger will come back and life will go on in 5 years no one will remember but Tiger and Elin hopefully they can come to terms and repair their relationship for their children's sake.

Tiger haters are loving this and crowing," I told you so"' while his supporters are stunned and speechless, but life goes on  and so will Tiger.

Life goes on, just like the other 1,000 athletes that have got caught cheating. So what! I consider myself faithful, but if I had all this pussy being thrown at me like Eldrick does....well I might just have to consider it.

He's human after all!

Well said...."A man's faithfulness depends on his options"

and athletes have many options ....hence they are freaky deeky.

You know what......during slavery times (I hate to go there) non-athletes were freaky deeky too.....b/c they could do so.....and so they did.....they went outside and did their thing to.

I hated to use that analagy too....but the point is....men are flawed and that "sexual button" is on and if men has access to "IT" then they just do it!

A MAN'S FAITHFULNESS DEPENDS ON HIS CHARACTER!

YOU ARE EITHER FAITHFUL TO YOUR WIFE OR YOU ARE UNFAITHFUL TO YOUR WIFE.  THERE IS NO GREY AREA!

PRETTY EASY TO SEE WHY OUR COUNTRY IS SUCH A CLUSTERFUCK WITH THE DIVORCE RATE AT 60% AND CLIMBING

What's up QMICH?

I'm 100% faithful man, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't consider it.

Whoa Boys, hopefully everyone's character is a work in progress and is not set at birth granted some display greater character than others but we learn as we age and experience it is what makes us people. QMich I get where you are coming from but even the most faithful have been lured off the path it is up to people of great character to lead the way by example. Tiger reaches a crossroads and only he can choose the path if he is very lucky he will make the right choices and may be rewarded sometimes tests are character building. To be lead off the path is not the issue but how he comes back to it spiritually speaking is a very deep personal issue. Do you believe in heaven or hell? How about purgatory ? A man who believes pays a greater price.Tiger has entered a kind of purgatory the devil will offer easy outs his character is just beginning to be tested.

How many would trade lives with Tiger Woods right know.

I would love to have his talent but in all honesty I wouldn't have wanted the life he had to live even before all this came out.He was always a good kid even at 13 but he never sowed an oat.

HEY AJ, GOOD TO HEAR FROM YOU GOLF BRO

I AM A VERY FIRM BELIEVER OF THE "YOU CAN LOOK BUT DON'T TOUCH" METHOD, AND YES, IT IS ALWAYS TEMPTING.

BUT LIKE IN ANY TOUGH SITUATION, A GOOD MAN HAS TO STEP UP!

In a heartbeat!!! I'd do it right now without a second thought!

Blue, you know as well as I do how much time he devoted to the game of golf growing up. No friends, no fun, no "real" high school experiences. No driving around on Saturday nights drinking on the back roads and smoking pot. No screwing around with the cheerleaders or Homecoming Queen. Now I'm not making excuses for Eldrick, just making a point here. I do not condone cheating.

You know why Michael Jackson liked to climb trees and act like Peter Pan?

HE NEVER GOT TO BE A KID....he was always in a recording studio or traveling.

Maybe this cheating thing runs deeper than we know...maybe Earl was a Duece Bigalow Male Gigolo as well?

All is true but he is a man now and I wouldn't want to have his life all the fame and the money the yacht and the golf game don't mean jack if the image in the mirror is sticking his tounge out at you.

I bet he's not loving it right now no matter how grand his surroundings or who he is with.Life is a grand balance and  all that stuff comes with a price and Tiger is paying right at this moment.

Now on to golf Good luck tomorrow I like your pics although Casey always finds a way to bone me I fade him a lot.
