One more reason I hate Vick

Now we have to put up with those sad animal abuse commercials every time there is a commercial break.

Being a big time animal lover I literally have to change the channel everytime it comes on. It just makes me sad, though I know it exists. My wife and I support many animal rights groups, so I know this shit goes on, but thanks to Vick I now have to be reminded during football.

I am sure PETA and or the Humane Society made a deal with the NFL to get these aired in exchange for tuning down the protests on Vick.

I'd love to have him put in a room with three or four hungry pitbulls.

Why he is still playing football I'll never know.

I barbecue a few dogs each year they taste amazing. Dobermen Pinchers are very tender while poodles are the tastiest. You can jerk it up or use a good bbq sauce. ummmmmmmmm.

It my way of keeping the stray dog count down in my area. I asked Bob Barker to come over to one of my cook outs but he refused. Don't know why.

You must don't watch much tv.  Those commercials about animal abuse have been running since I can remember watching tv.  And long before we knew that Vick was an dog killer.

I love dogs to but at least Vick went to jail longer than that piece of shit stalleworth. Who killed a human being while drunk. 30 days in jail. Give me a fucking break.

Boys, and I say that cause your ignorance calls for it, please let all this go. The man payed his debt, plus another year because of his ignorance and lies to try and beat the system. The fact is he made a terrible decision. But think of this.....there are 2 million dogs "roaming" the united states right now. Are you out there saving them, feeding them, bathing them, giving them shelter? No, you're behind your computer saying those are wrong things to do to make you feel better about yourself. The fact is, the humane society will find them and put them to sleep. Long before those animals ever get to act like animals. Our society tells us it's wrong to fight dogs who for 100's of years have been bred to fight. But our society has no problem stabbing a needle in them, letting them "fall asleep never to wake" and never letting them truly live the life they were meant to live. I think what Vick did was horrible. But to say he doesn't deserve a chance at life, to work like every one of us and become a quality member of a questionable society is ludicrous. You hate him because he plays football. I want to hear how you hate the 100's of people who fight dogs everyday, and fight thier progress through the court system. I believe anyone with issues regarding Michael Vick have issues with his ability to work, because his ability to work could make him millions. And you believe someone who's done something so wrong, should never make that much money. But imagione what he could do if he "actually" believes he did something wrong. He could change the world when it comes to dog fighting. I think you're all missing the point

Who gives a fuck either way?  Save this bullshit for the General Discussion forum or Oprah.

The NFL forum lately is good for EVERYTHING except good discussion involving football.

Another IDIOT. What Vick  did wasn't an accident, what Stallworth did, was, the KEY word here is, ready for it, ready all you idiots, INTENT. Definition: something  that  is intented , with purpose, design, intention. What Vick did was I-N-T-EN-T-E-D, he had with INTENTION to KILL animals. Stallworth, granted was drunk, but he  did not sit around his house, come up with a idea. Hey,  I am going to get drunk and run over someone, it was a accident.  Example, run over a stray dog by accident, nothing will happen to you, why, you had no INTENTION. Walk over to your next door's neighbors house, shoot his dog, guess what, your Dumb-ASS is going to jail, you had INTENTION on killing. Get mad at your wife for cheating on you, run her over with your car, your DUMB-ASS goes to prison for life, why, YOU HAD INTENT TO KILL. Get drunk, run over someone, you will get off lightly. People, know the LAW, and QUIT comparing VICK TO STALLWORTH

Just for the record, Mike Vick is a PUSSY and anyone else who chooses to fight dogs.

Glyde69(nice mature name, we'll take your insight and bet hundreds on it) and Zakk_Ozzy......can't come up with anything funny to say, just look at his avatar and consider taking his advice.

Boys, LITTLE STUPID BOYS..........There is NOOOOO football right now. People with brains dont waste toooo much time talking about pre season. You want to talk football, call an in law, talk about the up coming season. This is a gambling web site. So people here want to talk about gambling. And smart people dont gamble on pre season. So we discuss Vick, a big pick up for a super bowl sleeper. His dumbass decisions and his battles with re-making his name.We talk about anything except meaningful football cause there is no meaningful football now.

Hope you guys can clear those checks you just lost on the pre-season. We'll all be looking for the "i can't believe i lost this pre season game" threads you post

The NFL is Vicks profession.  It's a job that he's damn good at.  Do you moron Vick haters think every inmate released from prision remains jobless for the rest of their life?  The man has the same right as any to earn a living, he just has a bit more of a high profile job than the rest of us.  I love the NFL and watching him play.  You don't have to agree w/ what the guy did but you can't deny the fact he's an electric athlete who does his job well.  Entertainig us  schmucks on Sundays.

The jizz that my girlfriend spits out of her mouth after blowing me has a better chance of winning money than you.  Every game I win this year(along with every blowjob), I'm gonna think of D fucking Oliver.

YES-SIR!!!

Easy tiger.  Don't get your panties in a bunch.  Take a look at the college forum, then come back and look at the shit here in the NFL forum and tell me I don't have a point.  Since I'm going NFL only this year, it bugs me that ZERO is going on in the NFL forum, while those guys are gearing up for college with a helluva community.  I'm hoping things get better as the season approaches, but thats when the real yahoos come out, so who knows.

Yeah, only dumb people bet on preseason, because it's sooo hard when the coaches blab their game plan and you can profit off it.  I'm laughing my dumb ass all the way to the bank.  I'm sick of people saying that real cappers don't bet on pre season, I suppose some guy in a sports book in Vegas is scratching his balls and just decides to move a line for the hell of it.  The smartest and most distinguished cappers in the world bet on preseason and kill at it.  Don't dog us because you don't have the balls.

Last post for me on this thread, because I don't really give a damn about this idiot.  But as for the "paid his debt to society" meme, let me say this: there are murderers and rapists and child molesters wandering around this country who have paid their debt to society, too.  And in my book, they are still pieces of shit.  While Vick is none of those things, he is a piece of shit, too.  I hope he fails miserably.

It's never an accident when you get behind the wheel and you're drunk.  Anytime you get in a car and are drunk, you are putting yourself and others at risk of serious harm.

The hypocrisy regarding this situation is comical.

Michael Vick a record breaking QB....that's a joke.

Betting pre season games much easier to make money as someone stated because gameplans are revealed.  Pussys don't bet pre season.

You guys are right, Vick deserves a chance to make a living but not the privelige of playing in NFL for millions.  Sorry, but there is a minmum level of conduct and responsibilty to maintain if you are to get millions playing a game and being in public eye.  If you don't want that repsonsibility get a typical job commensurate with education/skill level.  My guess Vick would struggle bagging groceries....pretty harsh but I see nothing to indicate otherwise.

One prediction  Eagles will implode this year as too much wildcat will reduce precision of possesion passing game

My dog used to be my best friend.
But now it's my microwave oven.
It's very loyal and loving and kicks ass.
