I got Kings to win it at +450 but thinking about some inusrance

I'm figuring that if NJ wins the cup it would probably be in 7 games, and I'm thinking about placing alittle bit on them to do that at +600 which will have alot more value then the regular line which might be at +120. I'm sure the Kings will do it but anything can happen... it's just hard to see NJ winning it in anything but 7 games. Does this seem like a smart insurance bet?

bet same amount NJ Devils +145 series. if NJ wins you end up +045 and if LA Kings win you end up +350. good situation to be in.

Everyone saying not to hedge must be saying they would take the Kings at -170 in the Finals if they had to choose.

I'm not telling you whether or not to hedge, but if you had no bet and you were looking at a Kings -170 Devils +160 series line, which way would you lean at the current price?

If you think the Kings have value at -170, then hold onto it. If you think the Devils have value at +160 then hedge. That simple.

got them at +2200 before season started:). I put 100 on them I think they pull it off, but in my situation im definetly laying a few hundred on NJ at least.
