I heard Trent Dilfer or someone off NFL network saying that the Eagles corners vs Vincent Jackson and Floyd is a comparison of David and Goliath, any one have the official height of the Eagles corners ive looked on nfl.com but theres so much unneccessary stuff on the teams rosters page i havent found it yet. Eagles cant lose back to back can they? Philly fans will shred them if they do. Was last weeks win over the Giants the turning point for the Chargers or was it a case of they got lucky against a team who is lost....the giants.

I like SD too.

Atleast I know the coach won't kick a 52 yd FG when he needed 7 pts to tie with two mins and no timeout left in the game.

Capping Eagles games is beyond frustrating. They're the most enigmatic team in the league.

Seeing as they usually bounce back after lukewarm performances, I'd lean towards taking the points, especially if it gets to 3. And I'm staying away from their total as well. They could drop 34 or 17 on SD this week.

The NYG's pounded the crap out of the Chargers.  Check out the stats.  Only problem was they forgot to win.  Couldn't put the ball in the end zone following the late int. and then couldn't defend Rivers as the Chargers waltzed down the field for the easy winning TD.  Looked like they were playing out a script.

Tomlinson is through and the Chargers have not found a way to run the ball yet.  Eagles have an opportunistic defense and will find a way to exploit that fact.  Why the Giants could not defend in the last thirty seconds is a mystery.  I would have dropped eight guys into coverage.

Eagles for me this week.  Now watch LT come back like gang busters.

I expect SD to be able to contain the Philly passing game. I expect Philly to bring the heat on Rivers, and short passes will turn into big plays for the Chargers with Sproles and Gates. Teams have been able to run on the Chargers, but the Eagles aren't the team to expect to take advantage of that, they are still a pass first team. I expect the Chargers to win this on Sunday.

I'm a Eagle fan but I'm on the Chargers this week. Eagles D again has suffered a blow. Two corner backs in the nickel package are out for thos game.

Hobbs and Hanson. Hobbs is also their kick returner and Hanson is their best cover guy, Hobbs is out for the year with injury and Hanson will start a 4 game suspension for taking diuretics last year before the playoffs. With these guys out and pretty much a new linebacking core each week. Chargers Jackson, Gates and company might have very good games.

This is a very interesting game this week.  I may be wrong here, but the last time the Eagles traveled west they lost to the Raiders.  SD is actually a really good team, we just need to see a consistant D show up for them.  Their Running game is no exsistant and i think the problem is they are not running Sproles enough, i love LT but lets face it, he is not the same LT that ran over the league a few years ago.  I think the Eagles blitz like crazy and if Rivers is going to throw the ball 45 times this weekend, im going with the Eagles D to shut that down.  EAGLES

LCB  Asante Samuel - 5' 10"
RCB  Sheldon Brown - 5" 10"

They will be matched up with Floyd and Jackson, both 6' 5" and Gates is 6' 4".  I think the wheels might fall off for Philly while Saint Diego is headed in the opposite direction.

Eagles will bring out Vick to run a couple of wildcats and stall the drives

There will also be a big question mark on asante samuel, is his head ok, after he that shot last week in the dalas game wasn't in on any tackles that came remotely near him and he's very phsyical corner also what is B westbrooks status, he's the oil in that machine w/o him they lose.  IMO they lose anyway after losing 2 players to injury and suspension + big physical recievers.

I don't like rivers at all but he's got the heart of a champion and mcnab is choking on his soup. lay the wood

If you are stupid enough to go off of an analysts opinion from ESPN than you deserve to lose whatever you bet. The Eagles are not going to lose this game. Yes, they have some injury problems on D but they have essentially only been working with a healthy O line and the same players on O period for only 2 whole weeks now out of this season. Samuel and Brown and Mickel and Jones as the starting DB"S will easily hold their own. The D line of the Eagles is getting fantastic pressure alone without much blitzing period. They will NOT blitz much this week and I also expect their O to gel very well after2 weeks straight playing together. Their O line is finally healthy and you can also bet that their TE Celek is going to have a huge day and McCoy will also. And speaking of McCoy, he is getting better each week.

Eagles win by double digits. Also note that it is essentially a 1 pm game for the Eagles which takes away much of the time difference advantage for San Diego...

Eagles started out 3-2 this year, not 2-3, they lost on Sunday to Dallas.
