Your coach doesent trust you to stop someone gaining 80 yards in 2 minutes............wow.

Adalius Thomas said he was scratching his head as to why he went for it. The worse thing is the colts will feel like they deserved that lol 9-0 but these breaks will start going against you come divisional round playoffs time.

or u culd argue they really have a lot of trust in their defense...thinking "well if we dont pick up the first down i know our defense will stop them even with the great field position we are handing over"

mayb they thought it was a "freeroll"...get the 1st down run the clock, dont get the 1st down we stop them anyways....just playing devils advocate, but i think the right play is a punt 100% of the time

Well, it could be that the Pats defense got their chance to stop Manning in their previous scoring drive but got scored on in four plays. Bill had to do what he thought was right.

Indy was moving up and down the field at will in the 4th.. i wouldnt have trusted the defense any either.. hell 80 yards in 2 minutes with 3 timeouts is more then enough time for Manning.. had they gained the 2 yeards we would be proclaiming Belicheck a God amongst men for the brilliant decision

It doesnt matter how many times manning scored on the patriots before, that has no bearing on what a futrue drive would be like.

How about if they punt and on the next colts drive manning gets rushed on one of his passes and throws an int?

See what everybody seems to keep saying is that if manning got the ball back it would be an automatic td and that is so far from the truth its not even funny. Nobody can know what any one drive will be like, thats why letting manning go 30 yards over possibly 80 yards is a bonehead call. also didnt belichick realize that the colts would eat up the clock before scoring, with the pats having no timeouts.

One of the worst play calls i have ever seen in my life. You have to wonder how hsi defense plays next week after this. Do some guys just go thru the motions and not put any heart into the game, hard to tell.
