Hope everyone had a wonderful Turkey Day, and are enjoying a great, long weekend. I have a few O/U plays I like this Sunday. I would appreciate your input here.  (Hans: Great pick with NE last week!! You were right, and I was tragically wrong.  That's what I get for being sentimental.)  I have loved the O/U's this year in the NFL... Here is what I have for Week 13:

Pittsburgh @ New England
4:15pm EST - Sunday
O/U - 39.5

Weather: 40 degrees, Light Rain, with 8-10 MPH wind

Overview: First off, it appears that we will get exactly the same weather as we had in the Pats/Jets game a couple of weeks back.  Pit should have Willie Parker back, and Mewelde Moore will be ready for whatever else is needed.  Big Ben has all his receivers back for this one, which should allow The Steelers to take whatever The Patriots give them.  On the other side of the ball, Matt Brady, I mean Cassel, improves each week, as Josh McDaniels continues to open up the playbook that broke the NFL's single season points record last year.  The Patriots should come out in the same 3 receiver set, with Faulk in the backfield that burned the Fish last week.  Couple that with a No-Huddle, up tempo offense, and we should see some points in this one.

Play: OVER 39.5 - My Over of the Week!!

Kansas City @ Oakland
4:15pm EST - Sunday
41.5 - O/U

Weather: Perfect Bay Area Weather: 60 degrees, Sunny, 3 MPH wind.

Overview:  Neither team can stop the run, while both teams can run it.  With Oakland's secondary leaning on one of the best shut down corners in the League in Nnamdi Asomugha, I believe Herm Edwards will call on Larry Johnson to tote the rock heavily this weekend.  McFadden is finally healthy, with that troublesome toe back to normal.  McFadden and Fargas are playing well, and the Raiders should run it 70-80% of the time.  KC comes into this game with the League's 31st ranked Rush D, giving up 166 YPG, while the Raiders are ranked 29th, allowing 160 YPG.  Additionally, The Raiders special teams are playing very well.  This should be a great game to watch if you are a fan of the Running Back.

Play: OVER 41.5

I am working on two other games, with write-ups to follow.  Your input is most welcome.  BOL on all your plays!!

Like the KC@OAK OVER.

Always like the OVER when the line is in the

low 40's.

You have 2 def's that allow a combined 750 yards per game.

Both defenses also allow on average points 52 per game.

Hans, Yavapai, thanks for your input!  BOL to both of you this weekend!

Problem with KC is that Oakland D will stop them short of 10 points. Problem with Raiders offense is they make too many mistakes. Hate to see a 28-10 game.

Overs I really like are GB vs Panthers at 42. GB can put up 30+ easy.

Love the Bears over at 41.5

Both QB's will put up points against each D.

UHQB, thanks for the input!  I don't see KC stalling for just 10pts in this one.  LJ is going to carve a terrible rush D.  We shall see it unfold soon....

Love the Bears over as well, that write-up is one the way.

The GB  game is sketchy to me... Might be a total snow storm in Green Bay, and it could turn into a ball control fest... Then again, if the snow is light, then it may shoot over.  I would want to check the weather game time, and make that decision just prior to kick off.  I'll try to update all of these prior to the Kick.

GL!!  Should be a great Sunday of Football

Why take the over on two running teams KC-OAK ? Especially 2 that suck and are trying to stay healthy for next years contracts. Running shortens the game time to score points.

Like the GB/Car Over

GL!

I agree with pitts and over, but it will be KC and the under (look at past history played at KC). KC and Oak avg about 35 to 38 points together. Road teams is 10-1 ats last 11 meets
