Jose Bautista HR Derby Winner?

It seems as though a lot of people are avoiding him this year after his poor showing in last year's HR Derby.  At least that's my impression.  I was even watching a little preview for the derby on ESPN and when they mentioned Bautista, they said something along the lines of 'forget him, he's out of the question, he struggled in this event last year'...

I'm not one to really bet on these non-sense events but I am little intrigued at taking Joey Bats for a few bucks.  Judging from what I see a sportsbooks, he's the favorite everywhere I look, yet nobody seems to really like his chances.  Everyone riding Trumbo's nutsack tonight.

I like Bautista. 

Not much people see love in Kemp too.  Some people don't even know McClutchen is in there.

I think the back2back win will stress Cano so I have him not making to the 2nd round.

I bet a prop that has me playing field vs Bautista/Cano. Even though Cano won ly I think he has advantage of Yankee RF and BlueJays cheat at home stealing signs so that inflates Bautista. Hot Tip I've made above average betting Over at BlueJay day games. They got someone that steals pitcher signs and signals via board.

Cool....I didn't know the Blue Jays were so technologically advanced than the other teams...do you have proof of this? It seems hard to believe, since so much would have to happen so quickly, but if you are correct, then the Blue Jays are a step ahead of the competition....

I guess at Yankee stadium they're stealing signs to cause balls are pounded out of there at a pretty ridiculous rate and maybe you should check where the majority of Bautista's homers are hit. Jeff you are right on bro.

Stealing signs is part of the game and been happening forever, also the jays are only 4 games above 500 at home so they must be having serious issues deciphering those signals, u idiot, SHUT YOUR MOUTH LES, you're a child.

I went ahead and took JB for $100 and even got a better price since I waited until now.  All the way up to +408 on Pinnacle.  Still the favorite according to the books.

I just feel that this year, Jose is coming into the contest without as much pressure to perform.  If you all remember, he was leading the league in HR's last season and was arguably the best player in baseball going into the All-Star game.  His stats were redonkulous and people were expecting him to go nuts.  Unfortunately he didn't do much of anything.

This year, Jose has been pretty sub-par and thus, he really doesn't have all that attention that say a Trumbo or defending champion Cano might have.  He started off the season very poorly and has been kind of under the radar considering he's tied for league lead in homer runs yet again.

I think he'll do well tonight.  I can't guarantee a victory but I think he'll go deep into the competition.

It should be fun!

Good luck CC....you must have high expectations for Bautista if leading the major leagues in home runs again is 'sub-par' in your opinion...I want to make a bet too, but I am still undecided...
