The Cleveland Cavaliers may not win the championship

Its so unfortunate. They built a dream team to surround LeBron to sway him to resign and remain in Cleveland for the rest of his life and they still cannot win the big games. But, this time it isn't because of the players surrounding LeBron. It is because of, LeBron!

He is an amazing player. Quite possibly the 3rd best all around player to ever play the game when its all said and done, and by far the most athletic ever. But, he clearly will need 2-3 more years and A LOT more maturity to be a great winner. It is more than understandable however as Jordan didn't win a championship for about 6 or so years into his career and Kobe about the same.

LeBron James takes A LOT of iladvised shots! A LOT! He makes half court standing jumpshots and under-handed halfcourt heaves on 60 minutes, but these shots should not be attempted during games. If the 3pt line is there you stand near it and shoot for the best percentage shot. LeBron James has definately improved and added the longball to his game but he is far from clutch. Notice I didn't even touch on the free-throw shooting yet...

Carmelo has one year of college under his belt but there is no question that he is the better shooter and more clutch. Great winners are clutch and LeBron is not.

Bottom line is last night LeBron was out there playing around despite how serious his face my have been at times. Its as if he's worried about friendships or something. Real basketball fans will feel me on this. He gave Carmelo so much space and pathetically contested his game-winning jumper by putting his finger-tips in his eyes long after the ball had been released. LeBron is a great defender chasing the man breaking away and getting weak-side blocks and chase-down pins off the backboard but he is a mediocre face up defender.

Until LeBron James matures more and takes the entire 48 minutes of an NBA basketball game seriously, they will never beat an elite (healthy) NBA franchise deep in the playoffs for an NBA Championship without the referee's assistance.

Couldn't have said it better. He will dominate sports center top 10 for years, but that's just regular season...

i would love to see him go to new york just so he will prove the type of person i know he already is, an arrogant meathead that cares more about fame than the sport itself. Clev has dropped everything within their power to help make the team better to convince this goon to stay, he'd rather play for a shitty new york team rather then contend for a championship every year with an organization whos main focus is winning not selling tickets.  i would love to see him go, the ultimate SELLOUT...

The chances of him going to NY are lower now that they have T-MAC. LeBron looks baffled out there.

"Dang what am I gonna do now?" *face* :(

"May not" is not even relevant.

Cavs are not winning championship this year.

Heck, I would really like Bobcats to get 8th seed and shock the world by knocking out Cavs in 1st round.

Team is young, athletic, and plays suffocated defense, and have a playoff winner in Brown.

That would be something for Stern and the NBA.

He has the best clutch stats according to 82games.com

Much better than Kobe's for about 3 seasons now. Its as if because he jokes around it exacerbates his mistakes and makes his success seem underwhelming.

LeBron James went 1-5FG and 1-2FT in the 4th quarter for 3points and had 2 turnovers.

In the 1st 3 quarters he had 30pts and 3 turnovers.

That is not clutch
