You have 27,000+ posts, I have almost 10,000... we should be given full smiley privileges.  Although I guess that's their only leverage with moderators...?

How do I go about becoming a mod?  I'm a great member, and I won't abuse the tools because I won't use any of them... I just want the smilies

Specifically the hockey 'red lamp' emoticon and the disgusted face emoticon.
