So, Oregon -3 vs. LSU in a basic home game for the Tigers
Miss State -1 vs. LSU

Would that only make Miss State a 3-4 pt home dog to Oregon if they played?

We will be updating the biggest line moves in our editorial section:

If Mississippi State is a fav at home against LSU then pound State... LSU owns State and in no way shape or form should they be a fav... This line is begging for LSU money IMO

Really surprised to see Florida as a two-touchdown favorite over Tennessee, especially so early in the season with a new offensive system. And I don't know a whole lot about Florida State, but I was surprised to see them as a dog in Gainesville.

Also shocked to see Mississippi State as both a favorite against LSU and a dog against Auburn. Expected the other way around.

And I'm not sure how South Carolina is a bigger favorite in Knoxville than LSU, apart from an overreaction to last year. But the Vols played Carolina closer than the score indicated, and were fortunate against LSU to get some key turnovers.

And LSU is a 9 point dog to Alabama? I think I just have more respect for the Bayou Bengals than ol' GN does.

Interseting to see the lines for multiple weeks.

For example week 12 both Stanford and Oregon play teams not on their level of talent,  However, seeing as Stanford and Oregon play the week before, it is a classic "Let down" situatuion.

This year I am going to focus more on "look ahead" and "Let down" situations. concerning no plays

Arid_Torpor says:

I tend to like both those angles, but it's hard to consider it a letdown situation when you're playing a team as mass marketed as USC (Oregon) or your biggest rival (Stanford). Just means both teams have two emotional games in a row. Though I wonder if Oregon might let down against their in-state rival the following week.
Vegasbuster says:

LSU +9 at Alabama.

Every game the last 4 years as been decided by 9 points or less and both will be preseason top 5.

Bama -8 at Auburn. Auburn will lose 4-6 games this year, but way too many points in that rivalry at Auburn...Bama may win, but not 8...Another clear example of early expectation being thrown into a late season rivalry...

I'll gladly take Bama -9 at Upenn. And LSU-4 against West Virginia... cmon man.

Do you think so? Why haven't the sharps brought this line up so far? How true are the early lines?

nostradamus12 says:
06/17/11 05:40AM
how's it going double, usually with you when it comes to projecting numbers, 21 is probably fair opener for OU...Tulsa finished up with pretty solid line rating winning their last 7 (46ppg) including decent USM, ND and UH, not a prediction on the game just the number probably 20-23 range
BigRedGambler says:
06/17/11 10:36AM

Wassup Nos? This OU Tulsa line looks way off to me. I don't know if I'm being a homer, but my god this line looks funky to me. Tulsa has a new head coach with new coordinators. Don't get me wrong this team is a nice mid major team. This is a great season opener for the Sooners especially with Florida St. on deck. OU will be tested in spots, but over the course of 4 quarters Tulsa can't keep up. I see this game being somewhere along the lines of 55-21. What are your thoughts?

I think you would need to sign up to see the line.
nostradamus12 says:
07/07/11 07:18AM

how's it going bigred agree with your take on that one as long as the Sooners aren't asleep looking forward to FSU as they were last year against Utah St..the bye week and in-state game might keep them more focused, if they are OU should have no problem putting the points up

Corley1011 says:
06/18/11 07:42PM
yeah I think you do... that's why i asked if someone could post a link so anyone who doesn't use 5Dimes can see them

On Penn St D I am just going by readon Steele's mag

2011 Projected Total D's

1. Alabama ( #1 in rush, #2 in pass, #1 in scoring)

2. Penn St (#1 in pass and #2 in scoring)

only part of Penn St D that is not ranked in top 12 in his mag is rush D

NolesChopShop says:
06/20/11 03:20PM
Alabama/Penn St. going with the under. I know there isn't a line yet. But with those two being the top 5 D's in the country and both teams QB situation should be very low score
SatNightFever05 says:
06/20/11 03:29PM

Not sure PSU will have close to a top 5 D..

Though I do see this as a low scoring game..
Laroja says:
06/19/11 01:33PM

CorneliusCook says:

Are all these games listed and able to be wagered on at -110? I'm thinking about heading to the Nugget and trying to set up some middle opportunities.
