Brooklyn try to continue hot over play

The over is 7-0 in the Brooklyn Nets' last seven games overall and 5-0 in their last five games on the road.

The Nets are on the road and face the Portland Trail Blazers tonight. The total is 195.5.

Point guard Deron Williams has averaged 23.7 points per game during the Nets' recent seven game over streak.
Williams averages 18.4 ppg on the season.

The Nets will be without guard Joe Johnson. Johnson will miss his second game in a row with a quadriceps
injury.

Lakers own Timberwolves

The Los Angeles Lakers have won 21 straight against the Minnesota Timberwolves. That represents the longest win streak by one team versus an opponent.

The Lakers have seen plenty of recent ATS success against the Wolves as well. They are 6-0 ATS in the last six games in Minnesota and are 5-1 ATS in the last six meetings overall.

The Lakers will look to extend their SU (straight up) winning streak as 4.5-point favorites tonight in Minneapolis.

They will have to do it without forward Metta World Peace. World Peace has a torn meniscus in his left knee and is out six weeks.

Kings kind to over bettors

The run-and-gun Sacramento Kings have been a hot over play and boast the league's third best over/under record at 41-29-1.

The Kings rank 10th in the league with 99.8 points per game, but give up a league-worst 104.8 ppg.

The over is 15-5-1 in the Kings' last 21 overall and is 5-0 in their last five on two days rest.

The Kings are on the road to face the Golden State Warriors tonight. The total is 213.

Kings guard Tyreke Evans is questionable for the game due to stomach problems.

Knicks are NBA's hottest team ATS

The New York Knicks are 6-0 ATS in their last six overall making them the NBA's best bet over that stretch.

The Memphis Grizzlies visit MSG tonight with the Knicks listed as 1-point home underdogs.

New York has been able to maintain its strong defensive form despite the absence of center Tyson Chandler.

Opponents have averaged just 88.8 points per game during the Knicks' 6-0 ATS run.

Memphis won and covered as 6-point home favorites in the previous meeting 105-95 on Nov. 16.

Line adjusts to reflect George Mason home struggles

George Mason is 0-7 ATS in their last seven home games.

The Patriots' home CBI semifinal against Western Michigan opened at 4.5, the lowest line George Mason has seen at home since January 31.

The line is currently at 5. The Patriots are 3-4 SU during this streak.

Improved offense, declining defense has George Mason on over streak

The over is 11-2 in George Mason's last 13. Before this streak began, the over was 7-9.

The team's scoring has gone from 66.3 points a game before the streak to 73 in the last 13.
George Mason also allowed 64.6 points before the streak, which has bumped to 70.4 since.

The total in George Mason's home CBI semifinal against Western Michigan is 139.5. The Patriots are 5-point favorites.

Loss of leading scorer hasn't hurt Wright State

Wright State are 8-3 ATS this season without leading scorer Cole Darling, who is expected to miss his ninth game in a row.

The Raiders have averaged 61.9 points a game with their leading scorer in the lineup and 59.5 points in the 11 games with spreads without Darling.

Wright State is a 1-point home favorite tonight in the CBI semifinal. The total is 132.

Hornets defense key to under run

Team defense is a big reason why the under is 4-0 in the New Orleans Hornets' last four games overall.

New Orleans will host the Los Angeles Clippers tonight. The total currently sits at 189.5.

The current low-scoring trend coincides with great interior-to-mid-range defensive field goal percentage. The Hornets have held opponents to just 53.7 percent shooting at the rim and 33.9 percent shooting from three to 15 feet from the basket.

The Pacers lead the league at defending at the rim with a season average of 58.5.

Revenge is on Oral Roberts' mind

Oral Roberts' senior night was ruined by Weber State as the Wildcats beat the Golden Eagles 70-66. Now they have a chance to get back at Weber State in a rematch tonight in the CIT quarterfinal.

"But we do have a bitter taste in our mouth from them beating us on our senior night at home," junior forward Steven Roundtree said to the Tulsa World.

The Golden Eagles are 8.5-point underdogs at Weber State tonight and the total is 142.

Southern Miss keeping fans into the NIT

For the third game in a row Southern Mississippi students have a chance to get into the Golden Eagles' NIT game for free.

This time, Magnolia State Bank president Thomas Brown has bought 1000 student tickets for tonight's quarterfinal game against BYU according to the Hattiesburg American. The first 1000 students to show up with student I.D. will get in for free.

The Golden Eagles are currently 6-point favorites against the Cougars and the total is 152.

The team's head coach Donnie Tyndall started the trend for the opening NIT game against Charleston Southern. Rodney Bennett, the incoming university president, was next to step up and purchase the tickets..

********
Magic and Bobcats fight in basement

The Charlotte Bobcats look to claw their way out of the bottom of the Eastern Conference as they host the Orlando Magic tonight.

The Bobcats are 3-point favorites and sit just 1.5 games behind Orlando in the standings.

Orlando has been awful versus the weaker teams in the league. They are just 1-11 ATS in their last 12 games against teams with a winning percentage below .400. Charlotte is a league-worst .229%.

Atlanta aims to clinch playoff spot tonight

The Atlanta Hawks visit the Toronto Raptors tonight and could secure a playoff berth with a win.

The Raptors are 3-point home underdogs at a few books, but the game is OTB at others. Forward RudyGay's status has not been updated and he is currently doubtful with a sore back.

The Hawks have the third best road ATS (against the spread) record in the league at 20-16 and the Hawks are 7-1 ATS in their last eight trips to Toronto.
