Here is why I hate the NBA

Ok Good.

That all said, the NBA sucks. To have officiating that depends on your rep and years in the league is ridiculous. It is a mockery of sports.

Fouls are fouls and we all should have a good idea what that constitutes. The college game is so much easier to follow and bet for that reason. This product is a joke and they should start over.

I am personally done with the NBA BWS. I won a lot of money on the Lakers last night and watching the game. I felt the no-calls were ludicrous at so many points. I have never felt that way in the NCAA tourney.

I feel that this is a blessing and is telling me to quit watching this $h!t parading as a sport. This is not a sport, it is a popularity contest. You guys can have it. Really , think about it and let me know if I am wrong.

The WNBA has to be better than this, what kind of sport is decided by the refs?

You should read the post. I do not really care one way or the othe about the Lakers. I do think Kobe is a whiny brat but most of the NBA players are whiny brats. But the post says, the Lakers should win that game easy but the refs are fucking em up and down the court and they barely pull it out. That is not the way professional sports should be. I will watch something with FAIR AND UNBIASED OFFICIATING, now, there is a novel concept.

The product stinks and that is the real problem because I LOVE THE GAME but not the way it is now. We are responsible lets send a loud message to the commish that his product stinks.

Crash... i am behind you 100% for taking down the corrupt reffing situation... not gonna stop watching it because i use it to make money...

but if you have a plan to take down Stern, Crawford, Bavetta, or anyone else... and ensure that they spend the rest of their lives getting ass-raped in San Quentin... i'm with you...

i have come to hate the nba as well....it seems like after every whistle in the playoffs somebody is bitching... fans, players, coaches.... inconsistent officials calling touch fouls on one play and letting a murder go on another play... calling the game differently for different players and in different times of the game... thank god football is just right around the corner.. HATE the NBA and the prima madonnas who play it....

NBA is a business, not a sport. If you want to watch basketball played as a sport watch college ball. NBA/david stern are in it to make money first, basketball results second. Anyone disagree? Why would they scheduled games for last Sunday and this Sunday? NBA should have scheduled both games for Saturdays giving both teams one day off and better rest for the traveling days. But we all know Saturday night in summer = bad tv ratings. This is just one recent example. It's all about the money for the league, as a bettor you must realize this. I dont touch the NBA during the regular season, and only bet certain situations for the playoffs. Profitable every year.

I like the NBA...its always the same lame argument about the officials. These guys are good. These players are so fast calling a game is not an easy thing to do. Besides that the NBA playoff ratings have been stellar so far this year. Lotsof times people in small markets rag on the NBA and assume it is not popular. All my friends in Missouri hate it, but when I lived in Dallas and Houston this was not the case.

I love college basketball and always will but like Mike Trico pointed out, some of the best college players cant even make an NBA roster. We are seeing the best atheletes in the world.

Amen- I think the NFL product is EXCELLENT AND ENJOYABLE.

No arguments here. My solution, lets not watch shit. Make them clean it up and make it a sport before we give em our dough through merchandise, tv viewing, tickets, etc etc.

The product sucks I am going to quit buying it and want others to do the same. Hit em in the wallet, that is the way to make it better

The refs swallow their whistle then they choose to blow it

It is so inconsistent

But what I have noticed, is that during the crunch time, the whistles and non whistles tend to favor the popular team or the popular player....and that can be frustrating to a team that thinks they have a chance but end up losing the game late in the game due to an inconsistent whistle.
