Back from a trip. It's pretty awesome to be back. Anyway, I missed posting early games (played Orl and Tor, hopefully they cover). Here's for the 7pm games.
Minnesota Timberwolves -2.5
Houston Rockets -3.5

2-1 Thursday. Here's what I think of Friday's games. Won't play all yet, will be looking to your opinions. I will probably trim it down to 2 or 3 plays:
Cleveland Cavaliers -6.5
Indiana sucks and Cleveland kills them tonight.
Philadelphia 76ers +6
Lakeshow should be lazy as hell playing the 6th game of a brutal 8 game road trip. Possible look ahead to Boston. What scares me is I actually thought of betting on the 76ers. They blow but hopefully they have enough people to bang up the Lakers front court. Philly to cover the spread.
HOTlanta Hawks! -4
I should be on the Celts here after they let the Magic back in the game and actually win it last night, Thing here is that they'll be in a place where everyone would want them to see defeated. Hawks for the season series sweep here. Celts on back to back games plus a possible look ahead to the Lakeshow.
New Orleans Hornets -4.5
I got this game circled when the Bulls won 3 in a row. CP3 > D-Rose ALL DAY ANY DAY! Bulls should be hella tired by now. What's crazy is that the Hornets, if they would look ahead, will have the red hot Grizzlies to play the next day.
Houston Rockets -5
Giving little respect to the Blazers here with a possible look ahead to Dallas the next day. Rockets has yet to lose 4 in a row this season. Blazers aren't impressive in 2010, looking for the Rockets to come out strong seeing the home team dominate past matchups here.
Memphis Grizzlies +4
Posted Thursday, January 28, 2010 01:24 AM
Awful 0-3 Wednesday. That puts us to 4-5 this week. Wow, January has been a brutal time for me. Anyway, it's Rebound Time Thursday! Hit me up with what you think:
Toronto Raptors +3
Both ATS stats are pretty bad to base it on backing a team here. I wouldn't say the line is fishy or anything since the last game where the Raps won by 8 have them as a 2-point road dog. Thing here is that the Raps looks to play much better ball in January than the Knicks. Knicks are far from the team that made a mad rush closing 2010. Going back to the last game, the Knicks got lucky off Al Harrington's 30-point production. He's like an enigma off the Knicks bench and it's either he scores his average or lays an egg. Looking for the Raps to duplicate the same effort to get a W here with DeRozan out looking to be positive for the Raps.
Orlando Magic -3.5
This will be a different story if the Magic is on the road. Holding one of the league's best home record, they most likely jump on the Celts for XMas smack down laid on them. You also gotta like the celts saving up for Atlanta if ever they would look ahead.
Phoenix Suns -2.5
This looks like a toss up. Both teams are pretty bad in 2010. Can't trust Dallas on the road in 2010 and you just can't trust the Suns at all. Suns are notoriously giving up lead and even letting the team backdoor and win the game. Tossed my coin and asked my magic 8-ball. It tells me to take this Suns team with Jared Dudley and Robin Lope... [More]

2-0 Tuesday and that gives us a 4-2 week. Let's keep the quality plays coming guys! I really appreciate all you people who write down your leans/picks/opinion on games. Again these are my leans/opinions on games. Will most likely trim it down a couple of hours before game time. I'm back to only playing 2 to 3 games. Oh, and nice win for my Cats (Diaw should produce the same way he did today night-in, night-out!). LOL.
Minnesota Timberwolves +14
Wolves are crap right now but Cavs isn't on a "Hey-I'll-blow-out-this-team-mood" the last few games especially now that they are missing a combined 23 points per game from West and MoWill. Don't worry with fatigue or anything, the wolves didn't even bother showing up against the Knicks last night. Didn't bother checking but I can remember Cavs are just as bad as the Celts in covering double digit spreads. Wolves for the back door here.
Indiana Pacers +6
We got a good read and got on the Lakeshow train last night against the Washington, now we're definitely fading them. They are playing 3 games in 4 nights and 5 games in 7 nights. Lazy Lakers show up tonight after laying the smackdown on D.C.
Toronto Raptors -3
Couldn't find any good stat to back this lean. Trend between both teams tells us that the home team bags this one. Maybe Raps continues its dominance at home (15-6 home record).
Milwaukee Bucks -2.5
Crazy ats run for the Bucks so far. The ATS win in Dallas extends it to 5 in a row and 7... [More]

I went 2-1 on Monday and I'm 2-2 so far this week. I thought the Utah bet was a goner. Here's what I think. Nothing final yet so let's work on it! Again, hit me up with what you guys think:
Los Angeles Lakers -8
There's a reason why even the 19-24-1 ATS Laker team (6-12 ATS on the road) is an 8-point favorite and is now listed at 70% in consensus. Wizards flat out suck right now and that's probably it. The last time the Lakers were faves of 8 point or more is when they visited the lowly Nets team playing the 4th game in a 5 game road trip. They are in almost the same situation, playing the 4th game in a long eastern road trip and playing the dysfunctional Wizards team. Checking out the matchups I believe the Lakers have the upper hand here. Stats won't say much since both teams really isn't ATS friendly.
New York Knicks -6.5
You just gotta love a team coming off the worst loss margin this season hosting this Wolves team who has only won 2 of their last 10 and blows (3-19) on the road. Both teams are pretty bad in their current form with the Knicks on a W-L-L trend which if you take it too seriously they'll get the W in this game. LOL.
Milwaukee Bucks +7.5 and OVER 197
Something tells me the public flocks over and pound this Dallas team after that 50-point show off in New York. Kidd is out and should make this Dallas hella faster with Terry/JJ playing number 1. Buck isn't looking well but with a 4-ATS winning streak this should say how... [More]

0-1 with the Knicks. I bet they want the game over and done with to kick back and watch the Jets play (and rolled over during the 2nd half). Looking at Monday now and man the consensus is throwing me off. Here are my leans so far. Will go join my boys watching the Vikings tonight, hit me back with what you think:Indiana Pacers +4.5Cleveland Cavaliers -1.5Memphis Grizzlies -1Atlanta Hawks +1Utah Jazz -6.5

I'm from the NBA forum and since there's nothing really nice on the board over there I'm kicking it back and gonna enjoy watching my wager go in the NFL.
New York Jets +7.5

6-4 Friday night. Let's rock the boat again but a little conservative with the picks.Gerald "THE BEAST" Wallace -1
O.K. City! +7.5
Detroit Pistons -2
Houston Rockets -6
Denver Nuggets -9.5
Utah Jazz -15.5

2-1 Thursday. Dozens of games to be played on Friday and they are quite the toughie. Anyway, here's my lean for now. Gonna watch the line movement before punching any thing in.
Orlando Magic -10
Philadelphia 76ers +3
Toronto Raptors -7.5
Washington Wizards +1.5
Atlanta Hawks -6.5
Portland Trailblazers +10
Memphis Grizzlies -3.5
Lazy Lakers -5 (and probably a Kobe prop bet)
Golden State Warriors -7.5
Phoenix Suns -6.5

5-3 so far with Denver and Clips pending. Here's for Thursday:
Los Angeles Lakers @ Cleveland Cavaliers UNDER 195.5
Might lean towards the Lakers, this should be a payback for the Christmas day let down. Then again, Lakers seem to not care with those things at all. LOL.

Nice hit with the Raps and Heat. Let's build up steam and ball over our books. Here's for Wednesday. Full write up if I find the time later:
Sacramento Kings +10
You guys check out Borat38's write-up a couple of days back on OKC@ATL game. It should sum things up. Kings should be money and cover the spread with the fire power they have. Front court should be able to bang the Hawks down low. Over looks too easy at 205 so might take the UNDER here.
Orlando Magic -10.5
Leaning on this one. Pacers are just bad on the road and is playing back to back. Red flag here is that the Magic is coming off a 4-game west coast swing.
Washington Wizards +4.5
Why so low? I was thinking they'd be a 6 point dog or more. Fishy line so I'm taking Jamison and his boys. Dallas aren't in the groove as well winning only 5 of their last 10 games.
Milwaukee Bucks +2.5
Leaning on this one because again the line looks awfully shady. They'll be playing the Raps again the next day and this game should feel like a road game after a 6-game western road trip. Raps are playing 3-4 and on back to back games which they suck (2-7 ATS).
Memphis Grizzlies +3.5
Looking for them to come out strong again. 8 wins in their last 10? Are you kidding? This team is fire! They should be able to exploit the Hornets' lack of real front court player (Okafor is just under performing). Should be a close game here with the plus points really helping if ever it gets decided with... [More]

The MilkMan's a perfect fade material the last few days. 1-4 so far with Memphis and Lakers pending. Turning in for the night. Here's for Tuesday, hit me up with what you think:
Toronto Raptors +9.5
I'm actually torn on this one. My gut tells me the Cavs run them off their court. But with the way the Raps are playing their last 10 games, they have been sticking it up to their opponents and doing it even better with Calderon coming off the bench. Anyway, this is when you try and turn to stats. What strikes me here is both teams' record. Cavs are 6-11 ATS at home to the Raps 9-13 road ATS record. King James' goes for 4-10 ATS when set as a 9-point fave or more. In the 11 home games they played as 9-point favorite they only covered the spread thrice (against the Bulls and twice against Washington). Raps on the other hand is 0-4 ATS when set as a 9-point fave or more. They loss to Atlanta by 31, 13 to the Celtics, 18 in Denver and 19 against Orlando. Raps also have the Bucks to play the next day which is a more "Winnable" game for a 8-14 road team. What scares me in this game is that the Raps' actually is capable of winning SU. With a hefty ML payout, it would be damn tempting to take them at this spot. This could also raise their value for a possible setup in Milwaukee where people backs the Raps for a good showing in Cleveland for more bookie money. Sleeping on this one as of now, leaning the Raps ATS way.
Miami Heat -5.5

4-6 Friday. 14-15 for the week. Taking it slow now since we're almost at the end of week. Let's just hope to minimize our loss and just survive this week. I hope you guys are doing much much better.
Indiana Pacers -2
Tough spot for New Orleans here. Coming off an OT loss from Detroit and playing back to back on the road with the Pacers barely playing in New Jersey. Hornets also playing 5 games in 7 nights with the 3rd game being played at home so it would still feel like a road game. Pacers also looking to turn things around with DG33! They have won 4 straight games in 5 games since Granger rejoined the lineup. Okafor has been a disappointment this season playing lower than his past season averages.
Gerald "THE BEAST" Wallace -2
Not messing with my Beast Boy here! Phoenix playing 3 games in 4 nights and off back to back games and has given up leads that caused them the game for twice in a row now. Digging the Cats here with such a line. I bet it wouldn't move come game time. Let's see another magic here!
Oklahoma City Thunder -4
Worst spot to be in for the Heat. They are ending that 6-game road trip and on a 5 games in 7 nights. Heats also coming from a huge win against the Rockets with D-Wade smashing the competition. In the games they won in the road trip, D-Wade need to put up 30+ points in order for the Heat to win. Earlier this season, the Thunder visit the Heat and limited D-Wade to only 22-points and forced him 6 turnovers. The... [More]

Gerald "THE BEAST" Wallace +2 / ML
Do you believe in magic? I do since I'm actually taking the Cats over the red freakin' hot Spurs! I can't find no real angle here to take the Cats except by comparing home-road ATS record. Cats has only won 1 of their last 10 meetings with the lowest line being set at 5. Spurs has been favorite of 4 points or less 9 times this season and they are 4-5 ATS and 2-3 ATS on the road. Only 1 ATS loss of that kind occurred when they started their mad rush for W's. Seriously I would've locked on the Spurs this early but after seeing Thursday games you just don't know what to expect. Watching the line movement and will hit you guys up before game time with what side I'm playing. Right now, leaning on THE BEAST for the hell of it (72% on the Spurs as I write this).
Tyreke "R.O.Y." Evans +3
Spread the love will yah? Sacto town got murdered the last 10 games winning only 2 of it. If you look closer you got teams like the Cavs, Lakers, Denver, Dallas and Orlando up in the list and man did they push those teams. Philly looks really good IMO credit it to how Dalembert is performing right now. He averages like 10+points / 10+ rebounds in his last 5 games aft... [More]

2-2 Tuesday. Hope you guys get to drop in the Magic in the late game as well. Anyway, we're at 6-3 this week so let's keep on moving forward. I hate it when Firefox messes up with my writeup, so did a quick one:
Atlanta Hawks -11
Wizards are 0-3 as a double digit dogs. They are facing a tough home team in Atlanta who's 4-2 when set as double digit faves. Wizards also playing 3 games in 4 nights with the 3rd one on the road after giving one up to Detroit. The only chance I see for Washington to cover the spread or to actually have a chance out there is for Caron Butler to help out on the offensive production and to get more from their bench.
Phoenix Suns -3.5 (throw in a 1stQ bet)
Shady ass line. If this goes down I'd take the Pacers. Not much to say here other than Suns plays down to its competition and notoriously give up leads. I won't be shocked if they be up like 30 in the 1st quarter only to be have it cut to 5 or something at the half. Pacers are quite the pesky team and they'll keep shooting till the final buzzer.
Los Angeles Clippers +5.5
This game could be close. Hornets doesn't really blow out teams, they average like a 4-point victory margin in their 6 game winning streak before losing to the 76ers. IMO, with the way the Clipshow is playing right now they have a good chance to keep this one close and cover the spread. Got this italicized because the play depends on Camby and Kaman's status. If both are playing, I'd definitely throw... [More]

Had a horrible time closing out last week. Anyway, hope you guys look forward to this week as much as I do. Let's continue rolling like we use to. Also, don't bother with the unit(s) I post, I copy pasted my League Contest picks here so it doesn't necessarily mean that I'm playing 500 on a pick (hell I'd rarely even put 100 on a pick, that's just crazy). Also, I'd like to apologize for myself barely being able to reply to your thoughts/comments/questions. I'd get to them if I do have the time. So there, anyway here we go:
Toronto Raptors +1.5
Granger back, TM3 (just thought of a cool way to call out Troy Murphy. LOL) is back and they still haven't won one game yet (though they covered against the Thunder team). Don't worry with the Raptors going 3-4. It's because (a.) they didn't play b2b on the road and (b.) they played an afternoon game at home so I don't think that'll be an edge to be seen. No real edge on stats that I could find. Think of this spot as last night's Boston@Toronto game. The better team won the game flat out.
Atlanta Hawks +3.5
I think they get one in bean town again. It's their 3rd matchup this season (the last one will be in 29th) and you got the Hawks up 2 nil in their season series. It's not that the Celts are playing 3-4 or playing the first game after a 3 game road it's just that they they still need KG to get a decent jump in this season's Atlanta team. Sheed was lights out the other night against the Raps but our KG-re... [More]

Charlotte Bobcats -5
Who saw this coming? Grizz are actually above .500 and they should credit that to the run they made in December (12 - 5 SU, 11-5-1 ATS). Zach Randolph has been playing like an MVP (20/10 guy) and they are on a roll their last 10 games. They didn't just screw any team, they got Utah, @Portland, @Phoenix, and the Nuggets. I've written about the Cats in their match against the Knicks and man what a beat. Grizz are coming with a 5-3 road card in their run that began in December. They are 2-9 before that. I'm really into the Grizz but seeing them off a 4-game road trip then a game at home and playing the next day in Charlotte looks like a 6-game road trip to me. They are also in a bad bad 4 games in 5 night situation also off from a nice little win against Utah. My Cats get them tonight! LOL.
Atlanta Hawks @ Orlando Magic OVER 196.5
Okay, I don't know which side to go on this one. Here's what I'm looking at: Hawks are on a 3 games in 4 nights with the 3rd game off a back to back and on the road. They are also off a nice little win against the top gun Celtics. Looks like a good fade to me, then again I look at this Magic team and: They are on a 4 games in 5 nights and playing back to back a... [More]

Philadelphia 76ers -1.5
Seriously, why are they even faves in this spot? Raptors just got the Turk back and balled over San Antonio and Orlando the other night. They won 7 of their last 8 games, credit to CB4 who's playing like an MVP out there. Philly is off a disappointing loss to the Wizards, giving the game up in the final quarter. Watching the line some more here before pulling the trigger. If this line go up. I'd bang the 76ers like a crazy milk man. LOL. 76ers actually have a good shot to jump on the hot raps. They are in good form in their last 5 games (since AI's return). 76ers looks healthier and they can match the Raps' front court well. Actually, 76ers got a deeper and tougher front court having Speights and Brand off the bench. The only advantage I see for the Raps is if they can exploit the 76ers' back court. Jack (6'3") and De Rozan (6'7") goes against Williams (6'1") and AI (6'0"). If AI can get to 15+ points in this game, Philly bags this one (3-0 SU/ATS when he scores 15+ points in his return).
Orlando Magic -7

5-2 Wednesday. 10-7 this week. Totally removed that terrible taste last Tuesday. Anyway, we only got one game for Thursday and let's sure as hell give it a good look. Hit me up with what you think:
Before we get on any team let's check out the line and the stats first. We see the New York Knicks favored by 3.5 and is expected to go somewhere near 197 points.
New York started the season with a 3-14 card going to December then turned it around going 11-6 right until now. That's why they are standing with a 14-20 card and just a game behind the 8th spot in the east. They won 3 of their last 5 and and 6 of their last 10 that includes a 40-point blow out over the Pacers and an OT win on the road against the Hawks. New York is 8-10 (9-9 ATS) at home so far this season but had been amazing the start of December zooming to 6-2 (5-3 ATS) at home. Knicks are also 2-2 on 3 or more rest days. Just throwing that out.
Charlotte Bobcats on the other hand have been revitalized like the Knicks. I call this one the "Jackson Era." LOL. Seriously, the Cats are ballin' like they are now because of S-Jax' arrival. They are 3-8 before the Jackson trade and has gone 12-10. They are standing on the 7th spot in the east and has moved 3 spot higher in the Power Rankings (now standing at 17). Although they are 3-14 on the road the books love them hitting a 11-6 ATS record. 8-4 ATS in the Jackson Era. They recently cashed in against the might Cavs team and is actually 9-2 ATS... [More]

Terrible Tuesday card. I apologize to those who tailed. I hope you fellas had better plays than I have. Went 1-4 Tuesday, we'll get it back. We started the week on a 4-1 run and just gave it back. Anyway here's what I think on Wednesday. Again, thought are extremely appreciated! Hit me up! Lost half of the write up due to my crazy ass Internet provider. Be back before the games tonight here we go:
Atlanta Hawks -14 and OVER 198
What's wrong with the Hawks? They were crazy when they started and it's as if they've slowed down. Yep, was hella wrong thinking the Nets would easily turn things around the other night against the Bucks but they didn't actually bother to show up. Now they'll be playing against one of the league's best Home team who's pretty much struggling. Hawks are 11-5 ATS at home and is 3-2 ATS when set as a 10-point fave or more. Nets (5-12 ATS on the road) is 6-5 ATS when set as 10-point dog or more 4-4 ATS on the road. They are 3-5 ATS on back to back games and losses at an average of 13.125 points. Hawks has lost back to back the first time late in November losing at New Orleans then getting beat by Orlando in Atlanta the next day. Looking at this team, they've come back after losses and cover the spread after a defeat. When they are defeated by double digits they win the next game at an average of 17 points (defeated at Cats by 20 and bounced back to win by 25 against Denver in Atlanta, got destroyed by 17 by Orlando and bounced back to win by... 3-1 Monday and that pushes our streak to 14-5. I'll stop counting the record when we get one bad (negative) day. Here's what I think for Tuesday. Any comments or tips is greatly appreciated:
Gerald "THE BEAST" Wallace -6.5
I love it when I bet on this team. I get to call G.Wallace "THE BEAST" because of how he racks up points for my Fantasy Team. Anyway, Bulls looked played well half of the game well then played catch up in the second half. Looking forward to this game? I don't think so. Cats get to play the bulls playing back to back and the 3rd game in 4 nights. Cats are also on a roll playing good basketball after the holidays. They will be coming from an upset win over the largely favored James team and get to boot their 11-4 home record against the baby bulls' 3-11 on the road. We are looking at a 10-5 ATS home team against a lackluster 4-10 ATS road team. Cats are playing their 3rd game in 4 nights but not off a back to back. They have a day of rest which they can boast as off being 9-1 ATS to the Bulls' 0-6 ATS on back to backs. I'd also like to see the Cats get back on the bulls after losing only by 3 in their meeting early in November. They were on top at the half and let it slip away in the second half.
Philadelphia 76ers -4.5
76ers is a cool team again now that they have all their players back from injury. Since getting Speights, AI and Williams play together they are 3-1 ATS/SU on they are wins (surprisingly) on the road. Washington l... [More]

Amazing hit with the Lazy Lakers. 11-4 run so far. My leans went 3-1 as well. Crazy! Here's what I think Monday:
Miami Heat +1.5 / ML
No real reason why back this Heat team except this crazy line tells you so. Hawks is an 11-5 ATS (9-7 SU) road team going against an 8-11 ATS (10-9) home team who appears to really struggle to find their touch. Heat played really ugly the last 3 games and I can't find any excuse as to why they gave those games up. Hawks are ballin' and yet they were bested down the wire the last 2 games. Recent meetings suggest that the home team balls over the road team here. IMO, Atlanta is the better team here but going against them because of this shady ass line. Had a couple on the ML already and gonna watch this line move.
Oklahoma City +1.5 / ML
Give this bulls team a break. I think they'll hit the wall going against the OKC Thunder tonight. Oklahoma is just unconscious this season and I don't think they'd let up. I'm looking at a possible let down here after the Bulls gave the Magic a smack down. Also, a look ahead game for the Bulls traveling to the streaking Cats the next day. You also gotta love this Thunder team going 20-13 ATS this season. I think this should have the same feel as when KD35 and the gang went to the Bucks' court recently but this time the Thunder pulls through. To add, Oklahoma has lost only thrice to teams below .500 (Bucks, Clips, Kings).
Utah Jazz -8

Started the New Year 2-0. 6-1 the last 2 days. Here's what I think going to Saturday:
New Jersey Nets +10.5
Do wait for the line to go higher. I believe the public will push this till 11.5 or 12 at max. Anyway, you gotta love the Nets' complete and healthy looking line up. It's not really impossible but I think the Nets is very capable of making a run for a spot in the playoffs if they stay healthy the rest of the season. Cavs visit this team and they know they own this team pretty much. Thing here is that as much as I'd want to get a kick out of that juicy money line I think they lose outright to King James here. Cavs, if ever they would, looks ahead to the tough Cat in Charlotte the next day. In their most recent matchup, Nets put up a pretty decent match against the Cavs (although losing by 10) this team is without Yi and CDR. Again, With their lineup now, I think they put up a decent fight and be the pesky nets team they are and cover the spread.
Miami Heat -6
Miami just had two crazy ass horrible game their last two games on the road. Good thing they are back at home (10-8) where they perform better than on the road and they are hosting NBA's worst road team with a 1-14 record plus they get to host the Cavs the next day. If you were watching the Heat's game against the Spurs and mashed the Heat plus the points, I think you get your chance to take it back here against the Cats. You just know that Wade is coming to play here after shooting poorl... [More]

Went 4-1 Thursday. Happy New Year fellas! Let's not change anything and just keep on playing winners!
New York Knicks@Atlanta Hawks OVER 204
Two game losing streak and suffering their 3rd home loss this season I
like the Hawks to bounce back and give the visiting team a run for
their money. Hawks has been hot at home and has yet to lit up torching
below .500 teams with their streaky shooting. I smell a fast paced game
here. With the Knicks in the equation I think 204 is rather low when
you match this two clubs up. The last time both teams met they run the
floor up to 221 points and earlier in the season they played till 215
points. Looking at the huge spread, I think the books are expecting a
blow out here. With how this Knicks team is playing, I think they can
stay within covering distance and squeak one in in crunch time.
Orlando Magic -8.5
Magic has yet to win on the road. They are on a 3 game losing streak on
the road and appear to really struggle finding their shots. I like this
spot for them to break this ugly streak and start adding some more W's
in that 10-5 road record they have. Minnesota is a very promising team
even with a 4-13 home record. Flynn is coming around with Love and
Gomes looking healthier day by day. But they are on a bod spot here
playing 3 games in 4 nights then traveling to Indiana the next day for
a more "winnable" game (Orlando have the streaking Bulls the next day
