Good hit with the Jazz yesterday. I was worried they'd let the clips get a jump on them in the third but they managed just fine. No totals yet till like the 3rd or 4th week into the regular season. A couple more stat should do the trick. Anyway, here's an early Saturday gem:

Crazy start so far. I'm up to a 3-4 start and still trying to figure out how this nba thing works again. Starting early for Friday so you'd probably get better line by then. Here we go:
UTAH JAZZ -9.5

San Antonio -3.5

Hey guys! Welcome again in my thread as we kick-off the first day of the NBA Regular Season. Let's aim for a couple of nice run like we did in the Playoff. As usual, you'll only find one play a day in my thread. It'd be rare if you find two (i guess if you do see two fade them both, lol). For now here's what I have:
King James -4.5
No way in hell would a 39-2 (actually would do be 40-1 if they took the last home game against Philly seriously) let up on their first day. They've given the Celts trouble on the road and I don't see anything changing. With Big Z and the Diesel playing tower for the King, it'd be crazy to not think that they've improve in that spot. Celts got Sheed relieving the 4 or 5 position but I don't see him meshing well yet with the rest of the team. Rondo has been a surprise last season with KG sidelined during the Playoff but MoWill has been stellar himself. Bottom line here is that LeBron James won't let the Celts win here. Cavs to go 35+ or better wins at home again and they'll start this one with a win over the Celts.

Got smokes in Week 6 with all those chalks.
N.Y. Jets -6
N.Y. Giants -7

One game jumps out. Washingont@Cleveland game. Washington is on a 3 game in 4 night scenario. I know it's just the preseason but also going to Cleveland with the Diesel fueling all the King's horses and all the King's men. LOL. Still waiting for the line but for now, I'm putting it out there.

Horribe Preseason so far. The numbers I'm getting when I cap are totally whacked and can't be used to get anything done. Let's start the a play or two a day tonight. NFL is where the real money's at right now.
Here's my usual play a day.
Boston Celtics -6.5

Bad beat with them Hornets. Gotta give them props for that amazing second half though. I'm really looking forward to them this year. Anyway, here you are for today:
This is the only time I'm playing more than two games in an NBA day. Well it's just the preseason so let's all have fun trying to handicap and win games here.
