Nice hit with Boston tonight boys! Let's keep it rollin' and start another streak. I know this is kinda taboo for me but I just can't seem to let this Saturday action pass by. Going on a rare four game play on a Saturday, hopefully we end the week strong!
Denver Nuggets -4
Minnesota is playing back-to-back with the Nuggets coming off a tough loss from the Hornets. This game should be close for a bit with the Nuggets pulling away at the second half. I believe the line is no trap because Denver has struggled against with real post presence. And most trend has been against them (prolly blame it on the AI era). Hopefully Nene decides to show up in this game to man big Al at the post. Chauncey and Melo to run the score board tomorrow.
Cleveland Cavaliers -7
Two ATS Machines! Cavs are 11-4 ATS and the Bucks are 12-4-1 ATS. Cleveland is just scary. They've been blowing out Eastern conference team left and right. Milwaukee will be next. I know they've managed to cover against them last Nov. 11 but with the way the Cavs are playing, it's crazy. King James almost took a night off in their Oklahoma game and seemed very energized in this game against Golden States. Look for the same stride for Cleveland in their game against Milwaukee.
Utah Jazz -8
It still shows that the Jazz is a monster at home. And taking on the lowly Nets, the 8 points is just not enough. With Deron Williams finally looking like he's adjusted to th... [More]

The Denver play was a bit cocky. Anyway, I'll try to be a little more conservative with my palys. If it has to be a no-play-day then so be it. Anyway, here's for tonight, I'd cut the write-up for a bit, be back by game time.Pick:
Boston Celtics -9

Just started this Sunday. Anyway, I got one monster play for Thursday Night Football! Let's tear them books apart! The Play: Arizona+3
Posted Thursday, November 27, 2008 12:21 AM
I'm seriously bad at totals. Good thing the side play bailed us out and kept it at 1-1. At least we kept the damage low. Anyway, only two games for tomorrow and I'm not feeling any of it. Might as well just play Arizona over in NFL later. The Play: Denver Nuggets -2
This will be a battle of guards and Mr. Big Shot seem to have the upper hand over CP3. Nuggets is coming off a back to back game against Clippers and this should be a good scenario for them. Denver is currently 3-0 when on back-to-backs and the Hornets seemed rusty after a couple of days rest. New Orleans has the upper hand in last season's series with a 2-1 record covering all 3 games. It should be a good showdown between every match-up and it looks like it's a good mood for the over.

Cleveland is indeed on a roll demolishing Eastern teams. A number of scary lines that looks to be oh-so sharp. I'd hate to go and tease them as we're just putting our money on a much higher risk. Anyway, here's what my capping knowledge coughed up for you guys (My first time on them totals so wish us luck!):
The Play: Phoenix Suns/Minnesota Timberwolves UNDER 196
At first, I thought this was a dead give-away. I'm about to take the Phoenix Suns -4 but then I got this good feeling on the totals. The Suns isn't your run-and-gun team anymore, well they are still capable of doing so but I see them utilizing their front court even more. Terry Porter is responsible for this and you better believe he's making this Suns team play half-court defense as well. The Wolves on the other hand centers their offense on Al Jefferson and go with Foye if he's not clicking. Bell will be assigned to Foye and you know how pesky this man is. Al will have his hands full with Amare in both ends of the floor. It would be great if Shaq will be in the midle to man the rim. Suns to win by double digit here with a score somewhere close to 104 - 88.

I think we're streaking. Let's not wake up in this trance and keep on rolling. I really don't like Tuesday's card for some reason. Anyway, let's just give it a go.
The Play: Cleveland Cavaliers -7
The last time the King was here, he dropped 50. The Cavs are as competitive as they could get. They're on a mission. Mo's addition has been amazing. He's just another guy out there who can help add to LBJ's 20/10/10 with his very own 10/5/5. And everything is just falling into place for the King and his crew. Knicks' on the other hand is a different Knicks team with D'Antoni at the helm. They have more freedom on the offensive end. Al Harrington's arrival shouldn't have much of an impact yet. Look for this game to go crazy with the score (I'd take the over but I'm not too confident they could sum up to 213). Look for the Cavs to continue demolishing teams after teams. LeBron to erupt to 40 or more here!

Last night's Boston line is rather fishy yet we cashed in on it. Another one here smells way fishier and it's a game against the Clippers. I've made up my mind to never again bet ON them since whenever I do, they always find a way to suck out and get blown out.The Play:
New Orleans Hornets -5
I seriously don't know why in the world is the line set this way. I don't see Zach Randolph giving the Clippers instant effect. It's always been great to bet against teams that just went for an important player or traded for one. They'd usually won't have direct impact on the game as they're on a completely new rotation and have to play on a new system. It fits perfectly in this set up. Not to mention we are betting against the Clippers here which has been serious money as of late (3-10 ATS). Look for the Hornets to leave these jokes behind as they have yet won over New Orleans since in January 8, 2007 (and CP3, Peja and D-West is out of the lineup).

Took a breather last night as I was able to dodge some bad lines. Better to just took the night off than to have sweat it out while watching the scores update. Anyway, I'm going to try out this teaser that has an awesome pay-out. I don't know how good this will turn out but I'm throwing it in just for fun. I also got a nice play for you guys. The Play:
Boston Celtics -4.5
I really don't get this line. I think it should've been higher. Anyway, I'm quite scared to ride the LA train for tomorrow and so I'd hop on Boston for tonight. Seriously, no real reason for the play, I'm just riding their streak. Then again, I've got loads of play over in the NFL (4 plays actually) just in case something went wrong here (I really think it's a rather fishy line).

I'm trying this out. Here's a list of my plays: I'm laying off NBA for tonight to try my luck on the NFL.New York Giants-3
New England (pk)

The LA train has started! Good thing we got the first dibs on them last night. Anyway, I'm going to have to get us another one of that train ticket but this time we're headed to Minnesota with Boston.
Back to back games and after defeating their old rivals against a fairly rested Timberwolves. The Wolves can really dish it down low with Al Jefferson. This should be a good game for both team's front court. Look for a close game at the first half and the vets to pull away at the second half. The Celtics should easily cover the line. I'm predicting a 91-84 type of result. The Play:
Boston Celtics -6NBA:

I knew SAS would hang up last night. It's an effin angry bet right there. Anyway, I've got no real reason to do any write up for this next game. Only two games to choose from and all four teams are play-off caliber teams that can really blow the other team out. The Play:
Los Angeles Lakers -4
Gotta ride the Lakers train! They've been on a stop for two games now and it's a good time to lock in on one ticket! Make it an A-Class one! Drinks on me after we get 10-8 with Black Mamba leading the pack.
Posted Wednesday, November 19, 2008 08:31 AM
We almost got a two from yesterday but I guess two plays isn't my style. Let's hit a point higher than our loses with this play.
The Play: Denver Nuggets -2
I'm effin' pissed on the Spurs and I know with this post, I'd get some or something to not bet against them. Anyway, I am! Playing a big amount on them Nuggets! The home team always win in their last 5 matchup but it should be different now. The Nuggets are playing at a very high level of confidence going into San Antonio. They know they are not to be taken lightly as they've seen the defending champs win ball games with such lineup. It should end tonight with Mr. Big Shot at the helm of the Nugs.
We'll go 9-8 after this game.

Back to square one. Anyway, I'll give it a shot with two plays this Tuesday. I'd have to admit it. I threw my money away just by betting on the clips. Should've listened to you guys. Anyway, here's my cards:
The Play: Los Angeles Lakers -12.5
I was waiting for them to lose so I can get a good bet on them. Lakers at home against the young Bulls. D-Fish and Radman are listed under questionable this means the Black Mamba gotta make up for the production they'll be missing. No.24 is King at home. I'm sensing a 105-91 score here. Lakers to cover!
The Play: Cleveland Cavaliers -6
King James and the Cavs are on a rampage. I don't wanna be in their way when they make it to 8 straight. They've covered 5 out of the last 7 games. The nets are on a two game winning ride and this should be a good time to fade them. Cavs by double digit here. 92-81 game!
Posted Monday, November 17, 2008 02:19 AM
I took a two day breather and I guess that's enough to get all warmed up for this week's NBA. I'd get killed if I kept rolling back there. Anyway, one good card coming up and that's none other than...The Play:
San Antonio on a B2B game here but that isn't the real deal here. Spurs on a 5 game in 7-day kinda of schedule and the effect should take its toll in this game. I could still see the Spurs' basketball brilliance in their past few games as they are able to control the tempo of the game despite only having Tim Duncan as a star out there. Look for the Clippers to out-do themselves tonight as I see them only being able to pull out and win by single digit here. The spurs should easily be able to dictate the tempo of the game here.NBA:

Got my writeup deleted. Anyway, I'll just post my play. The Play:
Houston Rocket -5
Posted Wednesday, November 12, 2008 12:08 AM
Back to square one. I know I'd get nothing good from playing three cards. Anyway, back to a play a day. The NBA is a scary place now. Dogs covering left and right and you wouldn't know when the whole trend is going to get reversed. I'd still cap games like I would using the stats. One good play for tomorrow:The Play:
Los Angeles Lakers -1
You just can't back out on what seem to be easy money here. LA Lakers is on a mission and they're all set to get things done. They're a covering monster and they're a perfect 5-0 SU/ATS. Both teams split the season series 2-2 with the Hornets covering 3 of four games. Los Angeles on back-to-back road games but we do know how tough a team they are. You just know that they won't back down even if they're down 20 at the half. New Orleans' X-Factor for this game would be CP3. If he's shut down it'll be all over for the Hornets. Lakers' front court is unmatched. Peja gets Odom. Bynum gets to play Chandler and Gasol on West. This game should be one fun game to watch. Be sure you're on the right side when you bet on it.

I should've never changed my leans. Anyway, I'm still sticking to a play a day but today is rather different. I'm really feeling that 3-0 going any time now. Orlando last night just handed us a tough one. Anyway, here they are:The Plays:
New York +4
I'd put no write ups for now. Trying to be superstitious. lol.
Posted Monday, November 10, 2008 02:55 AM
They're pretty damn hot at home. Gotta give it up to these guys. 9ers on a little mishap. Arizona is 3-0 at home. The sinking 49ers is on a 5 game slide (and ATS as well). I'd take them if they're given 14 but 9? I don't think so.

We got it out nicely from Toronto and Denver. Let's keep this thing rollin' and hopefully we get the wins pouring in. Again, discipline is important. I'm personally liking three dogs to keep it close and cover tomorrow. The Thunders, Blazers and Griz are the candidates. I'll play Mr.Research for a bit and post my leans for now. Boston is the only team that I feel as the only favorite to cover the spread. The Leans:
Oklahoma Thunders +11
Portland Trailblazers +7.5
Memphis Grizzlies +12
Boston Celtics -8
What do you guys think?
Posted Sunday, November 09, 2008 03:22 AM
We got it back to 50 with the T'Wolves play. I'm eyeing this afternoon play since Friday and was hoping the Toronto would lose badly to the Hawks. Luckily we got it!The Play:
Toronto Raptors -3
The Bobcats has a new feel now and you just gotta love what Larry Brown is doing down there. Toronto played Charlotte pretty bad last season splitting the series with two a piece. I can't tell how much of an impact JO has been to this team but it's all CB4. Look for the Raps to get one win out of this three game road trip (they'll be up against a strong home team in Boston the next day). They'll surely put up a fight tonight and not make it look like they're looking ahead to the Boston game. Jermaine should have a field day tomorrow as his size and toughness downlow would be too much for G.Wallace (if ever he gets the assignment).

Yes, Detroit was just horrible. They came and played only the first quarter of the game then allowed Devin Harris to take over the game all by himself. Not a very positive night. The Dogs has been winning and man everyone can hear them bark so loud. The Play:
Minnesota Timberwolves +8.5
There are two dogs that I like the most to even win SU. The other one is the Wizards visiting the Magics. Anyway, both teams plays their opponent neck to neck. I don't see one team going up by double digit. This should be a slug-fest in the making. I'd say 6 or 7 points is just right but eight and a half points is just too much for the Blazers.
Hopefully we get on a win with this one.
Posted Friday, November 07, 2008 01:58 AM
I'd careless if Houston was a public play but after watching that game, I'm starting to believe Portland doesn't really need Oden on the court. Anyway, we're gonna get back that one play with this next one:The Play:
Detroit Pistons -7.5
I believe there's no contest here. I just hope AI doesn't mess up Detroit's game. The Pistons are 5-0 ATS and SU against the Nets. I don't see the Nets having any real advantage over this Detroit team. Detroit's line-up can easily matchup with New Jersey. Look for this Detroit team to continue their eastern dominance. They'll improve to 5-0 SU and 3-2 ATS after Friday's game.

I got extremely lucky with the Phoenix game thanks to Amare's monster game. Anyway, it really feels good to hit a play and man banking it all on just one is really something. I think it has an advantage, picking just one, since you get to eliminate and just play the one which you feel has the highest probability to win.
The Pick: Houston Rockets -5
The Rockets coming off a Boston loss at home. Look for them to continue their winning ways when they square off with the Blazers. After a disappointing game against Utah, the Blazers should still be fired up but I don't see them putting much of a fight. With Houston's very own big three (T-Mac, Yao and Artest) they should be able to continue Houston's 5-game winning streak against Portland (the last time Portland got a game off the Rockets was when Yao and T-Mac is out and they only managed to win by 7). Look for the line to kick-up by half a point or a full point. I'd still play them since Houston wins them by a good margin.
