16-13 This week so far. Better than nothing right? Here are my thoughts:
Cleveland Cavaliers -7
Something's up with that game against Charlotte. And that's Shaq daddy not really doing well for the Cavaliers. Anyway, the reason I'm picking them up again is because Dallas is no a 4 games in 5 nights type of schedule (the last 3 should at least be on the road). I still believe that Cleveland is a beast at home and so backing them tonight again.
Orlando Magic@Milwaukee Bucks +6.5
I have no Idea why I'm actually leaning to playing the Bucks. 6-1 at home against a 6-2 Away team who has won 4 of its last 5 games (losing that Miami game by 1 point). I also don't see anyone being able to body up D12 in this game. Both teams on a 3-4 setup but Orlando has been on the road longer. Normally, I'd take the home team when this happens. Another thing about the schedule is that Milwaukee is playing back to back, coming from Oklahoma after a 4 game west coast trip. Milwaukee has proven that they can out gun high octane teams and I think the line is just right for them to cover.
Really confused right now so sleeping on this one.
Portland Trailblazers +3
I was hoping the Blazers will lose to the Grizz tonight so I can back them in this spot. Don't bother with the 3-4 setup or back to backs, Portland is 4-0 ATS on b2b games. Anyway, Both home and away records are pretty much equal for both teams. I think Utah being a monster at home is a thing of the past. ... [More]

3rd profitable week in a row now (Okay, I start my week on a Sunday just to be clear). Hope we keep this going! Here's my thoughts:
Orlando Magic@Toronto Raptors
Still thinking on whether I'dpull the trigger on this one. Afternoon games has been the Raptors' (and the dogs') thing (possibly the UNDER as well). Orlando is also coming off a one-sided win against the Celtics. I don't see any mismatch in any position in this one nor do I see any advantage in schedule. When things like this comes I'd usually would study the line movement before making any play. I can't remember the real stat but I think I vaguely remember DOGs taking Sunday Afternoon game. Again, sleeping on this one before making any bet.
Boston Celtics -9
I was hoping they'd lose to Orlando so I can back them on their next game. New York had 2 game winning streak and to top that, both on the road. So far they look a step slower on the defensive end when playing back to back (not that they do really put up any real defense or anything). Boston always bounce back from a HOME loss (check last season's stat). Last game was their worst offensive performance in the season and look for them to do things the right way in this game.
Indiana Pacers +2 / ML
I really don't know what's wrong with this line. I'm a bit biased with the Cats and would play them at home but they are coming from a 3 game road trip and will be playing the first game at home (also Cap'n Jax' first game). Another ... [More]

We played too many games yesterday. Some action junky bug got to me. I'm going to be more conscious with the numbers we play now.
Memphis Grizzlies -3.5
Backing them again tonight after that nice win in Philadelphia. Bucks will feel Bogut's loss in this game against a tall Memphis front court. Both teams on a 3-4 setup giving the home team slight advantage over the red hot Jennings-lead team.
New Orleans Hornets +6
Not yet pulling the trigger but this gives me that PHO@NOH feeling again but this time we don't see the public banging the other side hard. As I type this, the consensus favors the home team slightly at 55%. Hawks playing 3-4 setup and playing the 3rd game after runnning up and down the court against Houston. I haven't seen the Hornets play live ever since they booted Scott so I really can't say much yet. I'm sleeping on this one and watching the line go.
Denver Nuggets -9
4-0 at home against a 2-4 Chicago team who is yet to pick up from where they've left off in the playoffs. I think the pressure is getting to this young team that's why they aren't meshing well. Denver's just too good at home and it's either they cover or flat out lose. Denver isn't really performing well off b2b games (2-2 ATS) but Chicago's pretty bad after a day of rest (1-4 ATS). This should be a scoring contest which Denver should easily win. Chicago sure do wish they have someone as potent coming off the bench like Ben Gordon.

4-2 Thursday. We're beastin putting it up to 21-12 this week 2 more days to go before the week end. I'm not into the cards this Friday so do drop a line or two on what you think on games. Chalky Friday:
Milwaukee Bucks -5.5
I didn't see this coming. I couldn't imagine the day I'd be putting money on a favored Bucks team. Anyway, Charlotte's playing the last of a 3 game trip. They should feel a bit fatigue and would want to get this over with to go home. 0-6 on the road against a pretty legit team in the early goings with a 5-1 home card. I'm giving Cap'n Jack a couple more games before I seriously consider the Cats to be anything. He looks like he's meshing well in this team. Anyway, Bogut is listed probable but I think he'll play. Him playing healthy is one of the key to this Bucks' record (of course BJ is a stud). I still view the Cats as the better team here. Letting this one sleep before considering any real unit play.
Dallas Mavericks -11.5
Sacramento Kings back to reality. Mavs slams them at home and that's probably it. Mavs blow teams at home when they win except for that Spurs game that went to OT. Dallas being ATS-friendly should help as well.
Portland Trailblazers -9.5
First game after 4 or more road games for the Warriors. I don't see anyone capable in this team anymore. The OVER could have had some value if S.Jackson is still with them. They may even have a hard time hitting 100 here. Too many injuries and no real front court sho... [More]

We were bad ass going 6-2 NBA Wednesday. 17-10 this week so far. I appreciate all you folks dropping by the thread and sharing your insights here. Anyway, let's aim for some more winnings today!
Phoenix Suns -6
Still fading the CP3-less Hornets.
Utah Jazz@San Antonio Spurs UNDER 202
No real leans with the side yet but I'm feeling the Jazz to cover. Anyway, both teams playing back to back. Jazz went up and down the court against the Raptors and the Spurs going to OT against the Mavs. Fatigue should kick in from both teams. When I look at the stats everything seem to scream OVER. Past season series screams OVER, O/U Record screams over, consensus screams over, etc, etc... LOL. Talk me out of this. The first thing I looked at in this matchup is both team's performance on the 2nd game of a b2b. Both team seem to find it hard to score. Spurs gets an average of 178.5 points in two back to back games they had this season (against Chi and Por). Utah, on the other hand, averages a total of 195.5points in their two b2b games (DAL and CLE).
Los Angeles Lakers -9.5 (Possibly the OVER 191 as well)
I've earned some from fading the Lakers this season already. I think I'll be earning more siding them now. You all know too well that taking the Lakers after that beat down they received from Houston is one good bet (although they showed signs of let down when they're up a couple in that Detroit game). Anyway, simple capping method here. I'm siding with the better... [More]

4-4 Tuesday (we got 2 ML hits so it's still a plus side). 11-8 week. Not very good. Law of gravity taking toll now after we got up for two weeks now. Anyway here's what I got for you fellas. Again, this is what I feel with those games, do hit me up with what you think. These are not necessarily my plays so there:
Atlanta Hawks -8
Hawks seem to be the better team out there. The rest day should benefit them (5-1 ATS) against Miami playing back to back. They were outplayed last night by Durant's boys and I have no excuse for that. This should be a fun game with the Hawks and the Heat having a perfect record at home and on the road respectively. The only thing that's keeping me from banging this play is the pretty high line. The most points set between the two team is MIA+9.5 and that's without Wade and JO in the lineup. This should say a lot about how hungry this Hawks team are now. Taking the better team here who has a win average at home of 14.8 ppg.
Indiana Pacers -6.5 / New York Knicks@Indiana Pacers OVER 214
Pacers off a nice win against the short handed Nets. Pacers should still be good playing back to back games and the Knicks coming from a couple of days of rest. This game should have a lot of scoring which is a no brainer. Knicks has yet to get a win on the road not to mention that the Pacers are with high spirits going into this game carrying a nice little 5-game winning streak. Don't bother with the spread here. It's either Knicks win SU or t... [More]

Looks like a good follow up to our 20-10 run earlier. Backing the same team that got us the W earlier Sunday. Don't be surprised with the Bucks' success. They haven't played real competition yet. Dallas is on a 3 game in 4 nights setup on the road playing back to back. This is a red light for me but I'm siding them because I'm still under estimating this Bucks team and that 5-2 record. Jennings is a stud but I don't see them playing well even against a tired Dallas Team. Kidd should school this punk.

4-4 this Friday the 13th making our weekly record to 17-8. Here's my thoughts to Saturday game. Biggest play would be on Manny Pacquiao to win OVER Cotto. LOL. Back to basketball:
Atlanta Hawks -8.5
New Orleans are so out of sync out there. New coach should take 2 to 4 games before they start showing life. Anyway, both teams on a 3 games in 4 nights (back to back setup for the 3rd game) with a slight advantage to the home crowd. The only reason why I can't jump on the Hawks completely is that they'll be coming from a nice win from the Celts. New Orleans also on a crazy ass losing experience. Hawks also owns the Hornets last season with an average margin of 9 points. Under looks so good out there as well.
Charlotte Bobcats ML
I'm playing the Cats because they Gerald Wallace is a f**kn Beast at home. LOL. Seriously, Portland is on a 4 games in 5 nights setup playing back to back tonight. Portland seem to be in the groove winning 5 in a row while the Cats losing 3 in a row. There should be a public execution tomorrow here. Cats should surprise this streaking Blazers.
Washington Wizards -5
I can't comprehend this line. I like Detroit but giving them that juicy ML / 5-point bonus sure do smell fishy. Washington is on a 5 game losing streak to Detroit's 2 game streak. Detroit, if they ever do look a head, will be playing the Mavericks the next day at home. I find it really weird and so I'm siding Agent Zero and the under manned Washington team (Foy... [More]

9-4 last 3 days. Got a bad ass 7-3 hit Wednesday so let's get it going. Don't you just hate Thursday games? I do, they've been bad to my health since I started wagering (LOL). Anyway, here's how I see it. Still sleeping on them for now,
Cleveland -1.5 @ Miami 181.5
Something seems wrong with the line, then again Miami has been getting what I feel weird lines left and right. Cavs played well last night (I wouldn't call that great) against the struggling Magic team. Season series from last year is 3-1 in favor of the Cavs but 2-2 ATS-wise. Miami looks good this year with J.O. and Beasley playing their best en route to their 6-1 record. Cavs, on the other hand, looks lost in the beginning of the season. IMO, Shaq being thrown into the rotation caused this. Anyway, I believe this should be a great Thursday game to watch with two of the league's best players squaring off. I'm sleeping on this one but leaning Cavs and the OVER. This should hit 170 easy and should be decided in the waning moments of the game.
Phoenix @ LA Lakers -7.5 2181.5
Two bad ass team that can light up the score board (Kobe can go start stringing 50-point games with one). OVER looks pretty obvious with the SUNs' starters only playing a little less than 30minutes in last night's blow out game against the struggling Hornets. Back to back won't matter much but 4 games in 5 nights should get to them. Lakers has been on my team-to-fade list with that horrible 2-5 ATS card. They haven't... [More]

Luck run out on our Thunders. Oh well, that's how games are played. Anyway, let's head to Wednesday with a flat 1-1 card. I'm not really good capping totals but here's my try. I like the over in the Warriors@Pacers game. Warriors can score 200 easy any night (LOL) and Pacers averages almost hundred a game. Looks so easy right? I'd be back in the morning to cap one more game.

The moment I saw Tim Duncan in street uniform, I told myself right away that something's up and look what happened to those who got it 6.5 and less nice hit. Anyway, that Won't Lose Monday was a good way to start our week. Let's try to use that little steam and head to Tuesday game! I like almost all them road teams out there but with that thought alone I smell disaster. I'm playing against my guts here as I put some money on the Thunders. It's most likely that after beating tier-1 teams (championship-caliber teams) they are expected to let down the next game. Oklahoma just beat the crap out of the Magic the other day and now headed to Sacramento to host a Kevin Martin-less Kings with a line set at -1.5. Fishy? That's what I thought as well when I played little money on the 76ers tonight only to see Williams lose crucial possessions and cost them the game. This Oklahoma team gives the same aura of last years' Blazers with a convincing 4-2 ATS I'm seriously putting money on:
Duran Duran -1.5

Got a bad beat trying to play UNDER last week. Quite scared with the trend now and this game looks like the game that would put a 2 in that 7-1 O/U trend. He'll I'd just screw my thinking up. Here you go fellas:
oh, Polamalu and his boys are real.... but I say Denver gets them. On that nice little ML. See yah boys!

On a zig-zaging pattern now. This is the week we'll start winning. With ample amount of data/stats now (5 games is good enough) it's a little easier to calculate things now. Anyway, here's one good play for you all. Toronto is playing the 3rd game in 4 nights on the road before going home to play Chicago and be on the road again for another trip. San Antonio, a loser of two games in a row now, is back at home where they hold a 2-0 slate. Tony Parker is listed as "Out Indefinitely" due to his Ankle so just count him out already. Anyway, Spurs turn that 0-2 game around and play their quality ball at home. It's just things are when Coach P is in his court!
No Country for Old Men (2007) -6.5
I seriously think this line would move a bit so do watch out.

Nice hit with the Cats last night. Saturday card's really interesting and I'm tempted to play two/three games but hell let's just kick back and enjoy our winnings this week. There's loads of nice games out there but their scheds turning me off. I like Dallas in particular, first is because Toronto is on back to back games and will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights. Dallas' next game will be 3 days later still at home. Dallas floored them last year winning 2 of 2 match-up last season.

I'm a walking fade material. LOL. Pretty bad beat up today. I'm throwing the towel this early on that last Thursday game. Shouldn't really underestimate NBA teams anyway I'm going with the lowly Cats Friday night. Really, they are pretty solid with a clean 2-0 ATS/SU record at home. Atlanta is on a 3 games in 4 nights type of game. I know this is too early into the season to become a factor in capping games. Larry Brown got these prideful Hawks' neck looking at last year's 3 of 4 cats win. With a 75% consensus on the Hawks, and still seeing half a point shaved for the cats, I think we're in for some really nice whistle-blowing action out there.

The MoneyTrain sidelined quite early. LOL. Good thing we hopped on HOTlanta to cut our losses. Anyway, I really dislike Thursday games so I suggest bet half the normal amount you would on these games. I think something's wrong with my perception but I'm getting like a good Cleveland cover in tomorrow's game against Chicago. The young bulls has a then Denver-ish/Portland-ish feel to them right now where they struggle a lot on the road. Cavs should be getting less love right now with the numbers given against them. Let's call ourselves investors and invest on the Cavs Thursday night!

Did horrible in Week 8 I'm not chasing but this is perhaps the biggest play I'd be making. Over has been hitting at an alarming rate on MNF (correct my stat o/u has netted 6-1 so far) and I think this one will be a bit different. I see a 21-28 type of game here. First half should see something close to 24 total points already with both teams' offense clicking and slowing down at the half.
