This Week: 11-9
This is bad. Although hitting the plays that counts, the record says that we are doing pretty average this week. Let's try to salvage this one and get a little more profitable to cap this week that has a hell lot of sneaky lines creepin' in. On with them plays:
Orlando Magic -2.0
Wow. This is some line. Philly and Orlando on a 3 games in 4 nights. Philly salvaged a 2nd half collapse to win and sweep the season series against the Knicks last night. Then coming home after a 4 game road trip. I have not kept tab on the trend "eastern conference team playing the first time after coming from a 3 or more road games" but I'm quite sure it isn't very ATS-friendly. Also, I forgot what's the count now but Orlando has played very well bouncing back after losing 8 or more. Orlando sweeps the Season Series here as well.
Miami Heat -5.5
New York on the road. They are on a 3 games in 4 nights kind of situation. Miami will return home Saturday night to host the Knicks. Both coming off a losing night. Not much thought here just fading the Knicks now that Larry Hughes is in the line-up.
Chicago Bulls +1.0
I can't believe Vegas has put out lines like this for 4 straight days now. I guess they're trying to get back what they lost last week as the Public had their share. I really don't get this one. Bulls playing the 3rd game in 4 nights as well. Then hosting the red hot Houston who has its last 6 games. Then ag... [More]

NBA: 133-90-5This Week:
Year of the Yao +3
Cavs thrashes the Spurs tomorrow. Then goes and win the next two capping a 3-1 in a 4 road games in 5 night set-up. LOL. Or atleast that is how I'd want it to be. Trying to bet sharply here. Opens at 1.5 and got a local giving it at 3 so I took it. It should go to 4 or 4.5 by game time. The only reason I'm playing Ron Ron and the gang is because of this fishy line. Get ready to hedge at the half or in the later TNT game.

NBA: 136-93-5This Week:
4-3 Yesterday. Shouldn't have made that switch to Orlando. LOL. Anyway, I think the only way to salvage this week (as well as any week actually) is to play it smart. It's best to make no play if there's something wrong with the game. Perhaps a good way to lessen the risk of having a losing bet. Only one play today!

NBA: 132-90-5This Week:
King James -13
King James at home. Nuff said.
Looking at these cards, tell me what you think:Detroit +4.5 Detroit on a long losing streak. I think they break it and take one from the Heat. They got a 3 games in 4 nights type of sched and I see them losing the next two after dealing off/covering thsi game.
Chicago +2.5 Chicago only 2.5 road dogs? Give me a break. This line screams TRAP all over. What am I missing in this game?
Houston -4.5 Portland is crap like shit on the road. Houston showing that injuries won't slow them down and the parting with Alston has made them play better ball. I don't see Aldridge lighting up the stat sheet in this game.
San Antonio -4 Spurs finally back at home against this Dallas team. Possible look ahead game against Portland? I don't think so. They know too well that how the Blazers are on the road. Spurs roll over the Mavs. Phoenix -6.5 Still giving this team another shot. 6.5 shouldn't matter if you can gun to 10,000,000 points. LOL.

Thinking about Indiana plus the Points and New Jersey.

Unreal! Seriously! Them faves have been covering so well after the break and I don't know if I'm feeling it right. I got my eyes on a couple of plays (4 to be exact). 3 of which are faves and I get a feeling, sooner or later the snake will comeback to bite us all. Hell. Let's just keep on ridin' till this hot streak stops. 9-0 in my last 9 plays over in that Survivor challenge thing here. Going for my 10th win with this one: LAMAR ODOM -10
P.S. The rest of my plays will be out around 9am EST.
With that, can someone fill me in why the Raptors are -3 against the Knicks?

New Orleans/Utah Jazz UNDER 199
New Orleans coming from an Over Time game against the Lakers then travel to Salt Lake to play the Jazz. Don't suspect any more home-cooking after that Boston game, I doubt this Jazz team would need it. The road team should be like most road-teams coming from an over time game then traveling to the next state the following day. They should fall short with their offense. As much as I want to play the Jazz, the Faves has been hitting quite well recently and my instinct is telling me to keep of them faves for tomorrow.
Honorable Mention:Oklahoma City Thunders/Golden State Warriors OVER 228
OKC Coming from an almost 120-point game against the revitalized Phoenix team. I think they have enough vigor left to run with the Warriors. Then again, who'd need to have so much energy to run if you're almost allowed to easy jumpers and open lanes every time you bring the ball down court. This young Thunder team can pretty much light up the scoreboard if you let them. Druant, Green and Westbrook can light it up. Do I even need to speak for the Warrior's offense?
Last week: 17-4

Public's been killing it lately and so does them faves. Thursday looks like a mighty fine day to take a rest as I feel a brutal beating coming right up. Hell, we're degenerates. Before the line is evens et I'm playing (really small, just to have a bet(s) for the day): Both Dogs and the Under

Only one play: Denver Nuggets -1
Honorable mentions (just leans):
Miami -9, Chicago -1, New Orleans -1.5, Dallas -7

Posted Tuesday, February 10, 2009 08:20 PM
Oklahoma City Thunders +13.5
Durant and his boys hangs out with Kobe and covers the spread. I think they can hang on pretty well in tonight's contest.

I'm not a Clippers backer, but I've got a hunch they're a nice bet tonight.
This Week: 5-2
Los Angeles Clippers ML
I'm no Clippers believer. Bobcats got DJ Agustin back and he seem mighty fine against the Heat. They're on a back-to-back game against a clippers squad on their 7th road game since starting the trip from Cleveland last January 30. Seriously, the line screams like a trap. Bobcats on b2b games, missing Bell and Wallace, playing against a tired Clippers team. Then again, the Clips sucked all season long and they need divine intervention to get things running again and I hope it shows Monday night!

Aiming for my 100th win this season!Phoenix Suns +1.5
These two teams (against Detroit) have pretty much the very same bad perception from the betting public. They've been really bad this season compared to what they've done last season. ATS stats only would suggest that both teams are bad in for tomorrow's spot. I think this is more like a "common sense" of a play than real capping. Detroit coming off back-to-back games and from an OT win against the depleted Milwaukee team. This should say much on how Detroit has been with "The Cancer" in their lineup. I noticed that a number of teams off back-to-back OT games most likely loses the next game whether be it on the road or at home. Suns do suck don't get me wrong but I like this game more than those big games out there.
Also would be leaning on Kobe
, them Green Men
at home and the Cats
on the road. Still don't get too much feel into it yet, so tell me guys what do you think.

The Pistons have looked great but I'm on them tonight. The Bucks injuries should open the door for an easy cover for Detroit.
This Week: 7-8-3
Detroit Pistons -3
Don't confuse the line being a trick line or something. Detroit has been given fairly low line because they suck atm. Simple as that. Villanueva and RJ are the two prime option of this Bucks squad and Detroit's Sheed and Prince got them covered. The low line could possibly be the result of a possible look-ahead game as they'll host Phoenix at home the next day. Even a coach like Curry would know how important this game is because it's a "winnable" game for his squad and he needed this to atleast gain momentum going into the break. UNDER looks pretty solid to me. Might put a coin on it before game time.

Two days in a row that I'm feeling the hook. I have two plays for Friday's court action.
Orlando Magic -5.5
Indiana playing back-to-back. Anthony Johnson is less likely to score as much as he did but he's pretty experienced and should still be able to control the Orlando tempo. I think Orlando shines with their front court against Indiana. Should be a lot of 3-pointers from both teams.
Boston Celtics -5.5
Now I really find it wierd. New York has been 5.5-point dog for the third time and that's being against the top teams in the league. I smell something bad but I'd like to go with the stats and play the Celts. Also a possible revenge factor here for the 22-point defeat they suffered behind Al Harrington's 30 and Chandler's 31.
This Week: 5-6-3

Crap week so far. Still got long ways to go. I'm liking both home teams to cover. Anyway here we go! Philadelphia 76ers -5.5
If you're curious on the other game, I think I like the Lakers ATS/ML in this rematch! With the line set at -5.5 (Bynum out for the Lakers), I think KG won't be playing. But regardless. I'm all over LA possibly the ML.

That was a bad beat down in that Milwaukee game. Jersey brought their game at home anyway, I wouldn't be caught dead with out playing this cards.Los Angeles Lakers -8
When you see a man with the Number 24 in the Lakers team score more than what two or three regular player can come up with in a game, you just can't bet against him the next night. That game in MSG is more like a warm up till he drops 300 or something against the Craptors. No real write-up. Bet on Good teams against horrific teams. Nuff said.
Cleveland Cavaliers -5.5
Same line as when the Knicks hosted the Lakers. Again, LeBron enjoys torturing the Knicks. He'll probably drop as much as Kobe did. A team that barely plays defense against the Cavs ends up dead by the side and not knowing what hit them. I'd be waiting for the highlight real in this game!
Also debating with myself whether to get a play on:Detroit -3.5Phoenix -3

The Bucks are the best play on the board for Monday and I'll give you my reasons why:
This Week: 4-3-2
Milwaukee Bucks +3.5 / ML
Milwaukee is one of the better ATS teams out there. Redd being sidelined and Bogut getting less minutes is the best thing that happened IMO. I watched their last 4 games without Redd and I think they look more like a team out there. Charlie Villanueva should be getting this many touches and RJ is pretty much doing well as the 2nd or 3rd option. Sessions looks like a MoWil in the making to me. Nets is plain horrible at home and I can't trust my money on a team that has a better road record than they have at home. ML is a blessing here.

I went 17-6-3 last week. Hopefully we can keep the good times rolling.
This Week: 2-1
Los Angeles Lakers -5.5
Nothing's new here, just a short handed LA Lakers line that looks more like a trap than an adjusted line due to the Bynum-injury. Lakers will be playing their 3rd game in 4 nights and we all know how tough it is for any team spending that much time on the road. No looking ahead angle here either as they got one day to rest before heading to Toronto then Boston and capping the road trip in Cleveland. New York has been flying off the radar and winning games themselves. 8 of their last 10 ATS, 7 SU. They'll be tipping-off against the Lakers squad riding on a 3-game winning streak. Don't get me wrong, Kobe will steal the show tomorrow night in MSG! They've managed themselves without Bynum last season, I don't see why them slacking without the big fella. You gotta love Kobe in the middle of the season, it's when he starts dropping 35+ against anyone in the league!
