CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Wednesday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 44-23-2

0-2 Tuesday. Law of averages working it's thing with the fave-dog thing. Moving on to Wednesday games...

Dogs are 19-14-1 in the playoffs with DAL Game 1,2&5, MIA Game 2&3, OKC Game 2, CHI Game 3&5, BOS Game 3&4, LAL Game 3&5, ORL Game 5 and MEM Game 3 are faves who covered.

UNDER are 21-13.

Miami Heat -10.5 is the play. You guys may want to hold out a bit longer as I'm pretty sure it will go down to 10 or 9.5. Seeing the Boston move on, I think it's for the best that they don't give them much rest as they are now. Heat will finish the 76ers strong at home and not look back. Heat blows the 76ers out and win by double digit at home. Not much to say in this series since a lot has been said and done in their matchup. I believe we'll see something like the Game 5 of the Chicago series.

San Antonio Spurs - Memphis Grizzlies line screams trap like Tuesday night's lines. Spurs play a lot better at home and would play hard to at the very least save face. I think motivation is the factor here for both teams. Grizzlies has showed everyone that they can play high level of basketball and level with the top in the west. I'm playing the Memphis Grizzlies +6.5 here and not the ML. Lionel Hollins won't let the series go the distance because he know how dangerous the Spurs are. What I fear is that the Grizzlies could come out with the same effort as with the Hawks thin... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Tuesday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 43-22-2

3-2 Monday. Rather sick with the way the OVER covered in the SAS/MEM game. Listed OKC as a loss already. They look like they want to win it at home. Moving on to Tuesday. Again, keeping tab on this trend:

Dogs are 19-11-1 in the playoffs with DAL Game 1,2&5, MIA Game 2&3, OKC Game 2, CHI Game 3, BOS Game 3&4, LAL Game 3, and MEM Game 3 are faves who covered.

UNDER are 20-11.

I think you guys know the stuff in the Bulls-Pacers game already. Indiana plays the Bulls pretty close and the series could've gone the other way if on the Pacers know how to finish. Rose is banged up good thing Boozer is slowly picking up his slack. Same story here, Pacers leads, Bulls catches up and win. Huge crowd to back the Bulls. I wish I could've shopped earlier. Indiana Pacers+9.5 and don't tail me on this one. I also threw a little on the ML but I'm not recommending it. I seriously see a small chance for the Pacers to even win here if things go down the wire. No total play but it will definitely fall UNDER 187.5 like it normally would the whole series.

Again, same story here. Atlanta Hawks +7.5. No play on the total as I can actually see it go OVER this time. Also I little play on the ML if you have some change to spare. Hawks owns the Magic and it's payback from sweeping the last year.

David West is out so I'm playing the Lakers. Kiddin'. No play in this game. Though, I'll... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Monday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 40-20-2

6-2 Sunday. Moving on to Monday. Keeping tab on this one:

Dogs are 18-10-1 in the playoffs with DAL Game 1 & 2, MIA Game 2&3, OKC Game 2, CHI Game 3, BOS Game 3&4, LAL Game 3, and MEM Game 3 are faves who covered.

UNDER are 19-10.

Don't bother figuring this one out whether the line is a trap or not Memphis leaves for San Antonio 3-1. Memphis Grizzlies +1.0/ML. Again, Grizzlies are longer and far more athletic than their old counter part. They've been successful in keeping the Spurs off the 3 ball and has the personnel to put up with Ginobli and keep up with Parker in transition. Game goes UNDER 189.0 as well. After reviewing the tape, I doubt they'd want to keep on running with the Spurs because it gets both Parker and Manu going which is not good. If Manu's 100% this may have been a different ball game but he's obviously slowed by that right arm brace. Grizzlies edges the Spurs in a close fashion again.

Again, take the home team to win in this series. Dallas Mavericks -4.5 gets this one and will probably go the distance to 7. Losing after leading by double digit will be enough fuel for a huge Mavericks win here. I expect the game to have a similar pace to Games 2 and 3 and the OVER to hit. Leaving it out at the moment and since I believe it'll go down some more. It opened at 187 and 184 in most places. Mavs will be a lot better closer at home than they ar... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Sunday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 33-18-2

6-1 so far with the Thunders+4.5 pending.

76ers has shot 39.8 in the whole series against the Heat averaging only 85.3 points per game. Miami averages 44.9 the whole series while averaging 97. I expect the game to play along these lines and like how it played out between the two teams the whole season. Miami will definitely want to not give the Celtics rest before playing them. Wade is also hurt and the few extra days in the even the Knicks extends the series (which I highly doubt) is big in recovering a bit. Miami and Philadelphia takes on the similar route they had the first three games with this one following the pace of the second half of Game 3. The UNDER 188.0 is the play here with the Heat finally hanging the 76ers' season over. 76ers definitely play better at home seeing Brand, Igoudala and even Hawes playing better ball. I think this series will be all over with the Heat controlling the board in all 3 games. They've also shot better and definitely executed well in crunch time. Heat's Super friends will be too hot for the 76ers to handle. Holding out on the side play but the lean is on Miami Heat -6.0.

Boston Celtics -3.5 is the play here. I sure did cursed myself when I went 180 on the play in Game 3. Amare is the X-Factor here and he'll probably be bothered with the spasm. No play on the total but leaning on the UNDER 195.5. I don't think we'll see Ray Ray fire up from behind the a... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Saturday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 27-17-2

3-4 today. Was somehow on the money with the NYK and NOH game but played the other way. LOL Moving on to Saturday:

Indiana played well like they did since Game 1 only to be outclassed again by Derrick Rose. We'll probably see the very same intensity from both team since Game 1 and the Boozer being a non-factor can even extend this game to 5. The best bet in the series is definitely the UNDER 188.0. I don't think we'll see any of the team shoot 45% or better tomorrow. Pacers average 44.2 with the Bulls only allowing 43. Pacers are an even better defensive team at home than they are on the road and you should expect the likes of George, Hansbrough and maybe even Granger to take bad shots with the game and their season on the line. The pressure should help dictate a low scoring game as well. Rose will still take majority of the shot and stay below 38% (as he was in the whole series). If you're thinking of Bulls' motivation, they'll go and try win this game to get a head start on their next assignment. Rest will be very important to this team. As for the side, I think it will be as close as the last 3 games and taking the team with the points is the smartest thing to do here. Given the Bulls' offensive problems, I say we see this Pacers team leading and being up a number of times only to yield late in the game to the Bulls. They'll probably lose by not more than 4 so Indiana Pacers +4.5.

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Friday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 24-13-2

4-2-1 today. Moving on to Friday.

Boston and Knicks is by far the best series IMO after the D-Rose show. Both games went down the wire and superstars shined like they would. Knicks came close in both games and only if they have a better closer they could've come back 2-0. I think this time, we'll see a better performance from the Knicks now that they'll be at home. Two Knicks players (three if Billups plays) feeds off the crowd's energy and they'll probably play a lot better. Game 3 is a must win for the home team and I believe they'll come out stronger than they did on both Game 1 and 2. They could've easily won game 2 if they had someone to tail Rondo. He had a dozen of easy lay ins en route to his 30 point performance. Not playing any at the moment but I'm leaning on Boston Celtics +3.0. Think of this much like Pacers-Bulls or Mavs-Blazers of tonight. The points came a long way in a close quarter match. I think Boston forces them to be close with the total being the better play. UNDER 191.5 should cover like the first two games. Knicks almost always lays an egg in the 3rd where Boston always comes out fresh and plays tough D.

Two easy plays here. Atlanta Hawks +1.5/ML and the UNDER 181.0. Same reasoning as with the first two games. Hawks will play a better job at home with the home crowd behind them. Hawks escapes this close game and return to Orlando with the series tied.

Don't k... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Thursday

I won't be around to post later but here are my plays for Thursday. Chalky Thursday which has never been a good idea but playing it anyway. Obviously going with the better team. I guess if you follow my writeup you'd probably know why I'm on them. Pacers will give the Bulls a hard time but having Collison who has played well against them out will be a huge blow. AJ price is more of a scoring guard and I don't think it'll be good for them. They have no answer for Rose. If you've seen all games, they've tried everything and Rose just blew past every one of them. I see this game going the Pacers way until they fall into crunch time with no real closer. Miami is on a different league and plays better on the road. I hope they go hostile against Wade and LeBron so Heat won't let up on them. Bosh has been a huge factor in the series and proves everyone that Miami has a big 3 not only the LeWade show. Like I said in my previous writeups, DAL-POR series is a simple one where they home team takes the game. It will be extended to 7 where the better team will win.

Chicago Bulls -4.5
Miami Heat -4.5
Portland Trailblazers -5.5

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Wednesday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 18-10

6-0 Tuesday. 2nd Half betting is now at 9-0! Pretty cool. Here's for Wednesday.

Play on the Denver Nuggets +4.5 and the Money Line. Oklahoma City has no answer for the Nuggets' front court which was evident even in that 4 point loss in Game 1. Points in the paint were 46-28 in favor of the Nuggets which they made it look easy down the stretch. They obviously have no answer for both Westbrook and Durant but it's been like that ever since (for Durant in most cases). Then again, it has always been like that for the Thunders with offensive spurts from Harden. Nuggets played well but got bested down the stretch. Although having no real star is good and bad by itself, they needed someone to rely on to when they need it the most. The way George Karl coaches, I'm pretty sure he'll be drawing up and ready plays down the stretch. I believe the Nuggets-Thunders game won't have much of a difference than in Game 1 except I see the Nuggets besting the Thunders this time. Denver has a lot of offensive options and should get more from Galo, Lawson and JR Smith. As for the total, after the first half of Game 1, the total score is projected to well go over 238 points until both teams started tightening up. Line went up from 204.5 (Game 1) to 207.5. I guess they are expecting them to get those game one jitters off and be more comfortable with the playoff atmosphere. I think as both teams are, we'll see a game that wil... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Tuesday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 12-10

I think I better stick with 2nd half plays. LOL. They're at 7-0 now. On with Tuesday. What's scares me is I'm playing the obvious teams.

New York Knicks +7.0 for me. This gives me almost the same exact feel as I did with the Pacers-Bulls matchup. Anyway, Boston owns the Knicks and just like the Heat, they came out flat on their first game plus the Knicks' problem of not being able to close out games bit them in the end. I believe we'll see the almost exact same thing and I see this one not being as close as the first game. Knicks will play catch up in parts of the game and will flirt with the lead but only for Boston to distance themselves again. Knicks will hopefully be able to enjoy Carmelo's services sans the foul trouble. He went to the line only twice and scored 15 points. I'm pretty sure he'll be able to supply the Knicks better offense without the foul trouble. Billups won't be playing. I believe it's both good and a bad thing. It's good because we'll see more of Toney Douglas and Bill Walker (which is a could be good and bad at the same time as well). Bad because as they are now, losing Mr. Big Shot just made them worse during crunch time.

Boston, will pretty much turn to their defense like both Miami and Chicago did in their game. It's the playoffs and teams better stick to their guns that worked for the whole season. Ray Ray was hot in that game and giv... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Monday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 8-8

Went 0-4 with my play over night but got the save going 5-0 with my 2nd half plays. Damn, this post season is a pain at the moment. Crazy stuff happening which is really good that's what makes this thing very interesting.

The 76ers flashed their mettle and almost managed to make a steal in day 1 of the post season if it weren't for Wade. Miami was as expected in game 1. The Superfriends took over in every stretches taking alternating turns. Philadelphia were very persistent and was on their tail the whole game which makes it very enticing to hop on that 9.5 points. The play here is the Philadelphia 76ers +9.5. I know, I was very high on the Heat in Game 1 and after seeing the 76ers play chase, you gotta give them credit for being able to stick with the Heat with no real star to take the spot light. I'm more confident now with this pick than I was with the Heat on Game 1. I think having two superstars are a double edged sword like everyone else would. If it were only LBJ or Wade, they'd be going to them on every possession and when they caught fire, there's no telling whether they'd win from 10 to 25. Jrue can score on the Heat and whoever guard they put on the 1 spot. I'm not expecting from Elton Brand but he'll pretty much put up 10+ points and not really putting much effort on stopping Bosh. In all their games, Bosh managed to get up to 15+ on him on 50% shooting. I say, Iggy gives LeBron a hard time ... [More]
