CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Tuesday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 100-70-3

I have no idea why the total dropped from 188.0 but if it could get any better I'm playing whatever favors the OVER. Total goes 175+ easy. Miami is a pretty good defensive team (started getting better somewhere in December-January). Chicago's awful offense made it look even tougher. With both teams, able to stage comebacks after comebacks I don't think the UNDER will be safe. Both teams played each other twice earlier in the season and both goes over 180 easily. I know Dallas plays good team defense but on one-on-one situation they aren't much of a threat. Durant's lack of experience made Shawn Marion look like a hell of a defender, Terry, Barrea and Kidd most of the time been torched by Westbrook (what more can a Wade do). Guys like Bosh, Dirk and LBJ is so potent in scoring in the post season that's why I'm amazed as to not see the total open somewhere like the DAL-OKC series. OVER is the best play in Game 1.

OVER 186.5

I do have a side play but I'm more comfortable of playing Miami ML. I played it with a 4 point teaser which looks like:

Miami -0.5 & OVER 182.5

The payout is -109 so it's pretty okay rather than taking the -200 ML for the heat. I think Miami wins the ever so important Game 1. Else, my +180 Dallas to Win will really be interesting. It's at +145 in sportsbook and down to +160 in bet365. The bet gives you a lot of possible hedging chances since ... [More]

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 100-68-3

Finally hit my parlay of MIA/DAL ML but went only 4-4 Wednesday night thanks to the DAL 2nd Half and in-game betting. Here's for Thursday. It was totally unexpected but I guess the best team in the League still has some in their tank left. Miami closes this one out at home.

Chicago Bulls -3.0

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Saturday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 83-58-3

Game 3 in Oklahoma City should be pretty interesting. Thunders did a great job in the 4th and never allowed the Mavs to come back. They handled it really well for a very young team. I believe we'll see Harden getting his shots going like in Game 2. Dallas obviously wasn't ready for him and was exploited in every possession. On the road, I don't think we'll see the Mavs try and out score the Thunder and so I believe we'll finally get an under here. Two sure thing Saturday night is that Dirk and KD will get their average and the rest is pretty hard to predict. Anyway, I'm looking at this game at the perspective of Dallas and I believe they don't think a fast paced game is suited against OKC. They'll again take their time in setting up Dirk and go from there. Defense-wise, I believe we'll see the very same thing we saw in the 2nd Half of Game 2. Only one play for now and it's

UNDER 201.0

Leaning: Mavs ML

Trying out some stupid MLB System

I just bothered posting this up so I could keep track of this one. It's a rather stupid system that takes advantage of local bookies. Anyway, I have this local that sends me MLB lines but the type that has them on RLs already. It's pretty nifty since everything is at -105. Say like today (05/19) he has HOU+1@STL-1/-1.5 again both sides at -105. Anyway, I kept track of this one since last year and can't remember how it went but somehow I ended up at plus money at the end of the year. I believe it's a fluke so I tried it again this year and so far it's been okay. Anyway, I'll just go ahead and keep track hopefully it do end up well. Also starting at 0.00 count.

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 82-55-3

5-2 Wednesday. Only lost my 1Q Mia and UNDER 1H. Gotta love the Game 2 of the Dallas Series. It looks so easy and I hope it doesn't bit me in the end. The jump from 193.5 to 200 is pretty crazy. I guess that's just about where the line should be. I also threw a little on the correct series score with the Mavs sweeping the Thunders at +550. Not bad IMO. Anyway, here's for thursday. Same thing will go down. Dirk won't be stopped. KD will try and get his team going. The whole Thunder team will keep on coming like in the second half of Game 1:

6-2 Tuesday. I got Heat +6/OVER 177  in my 4 point teaser left (after hitting Mavs-2/O189.5 today). I have a new found respect for Dirk now. Man, he's can't be stopped. I wouldn't be surprised if the Mavs sweep this young OKC team as well. Anyway, on to Wednesday games. Anyway, I made a mistake earlier when I punched in the OVER in my teaser. Hopefully I can hit that window or whatever to get a lot. Obviously, Bulls D have the Heat's offense all figured out that's all there is to it. Thibodeau made his living on creating defensive systems to stop guys like LeBron and Wade. It shouldn't be any different going to Game 2.

Browser error erased my write up. It isn't cool anyway, I think I'm getting a bit of that mojo back with a win on both OKC and MIA full game. Posting one early now as I feel confident with how this would end up. To make it short and simple, I see the Bulls pulling out here and closing it on the road. I don't really see a blow out but a close game where the Bulls pulls out in the end. Too much Rose for them.

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Monday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 56-45-3

Horrible day to start the week. Bad luck on my side and has kept me away from winning for some time now. Here's for Monday.

Tough to call the Boston-Miami game till we can get a good read on Rondo's. If he's healthy, you got to give it to the Celtics since they are at home which is pretty big for this old team. I think the better play all around is the UNDER 181.0. Game 4 should have a very similar pace to Game 3. I see Garnett scoring his average and the rest getting their fair share. Bosh won't be a factor, only scoring the most (17) when they run the Celts off Miami in Game 2. I think Celtics did a great job limiting the Heats' running game and they are doing a great job as they are allowing 15, 12 and 5 from Game 1 to 3 respectively. Celtics looks like they're looking more to score in the paint in the last game which got the original big 3 going. The atmosphere in the Garden will be enough to add pressure to scoring and emphasize more on the defensive side of the game.

Memphis Grizzlies looked troubled against the Thunders in Game 3 but I think it's enough motivation and a wake up call for them that the Thunders are no walk in the park. Thunders clamped on them down defensively and seem to have gotten a way around the Grizzlies in the last 2 games until they seem to run out of gas in the 4th. I'm playing the Memphis Grizzlies -2.5 because of how they played in the second half hoping to s... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Friday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 55-38-3

1-1-1 Wednesday.

Game 1 was a fluke. Bulls were rusty and was beat by Joe Johnson. Coach Thibs won't allow that too happen again thus we saw Joe Johnson's real self scoring only 16 in Game 2. Horford was shut down but allowing Teague to perform even better individually. Bulls out rebounds the Hawks in Game 2 which is the story in their regular season games that made the difference. You can almost expect the game to be close if the rebounding is pretty even. I think we'll see the very same defensive intensity from the Bulls in Game 3 and the Hawks playing an even better defense at home. The UNDER 178.0 is a terrific play here. First game jitters are gone now and so the Chicago Bulls -2.5 even how trippy the line looks is the right play. Hawks had a great series against the Magic and took Game 1 from the Bulls which makes them a pretty dangerous team in a lot of people's perspective. But you always got to remember that it isn't what it is. Bulls out rebounds the Hawks and clogs the lane like they use to en route to a win in Atlanta.

Dallas looks like they got the Lakeshow all figured out. Total is pretty sharp and I see both teams going for 90 points a side. Dallas has been in it to win it since the Portland series and they were a completely different team after they got a dose of Brandon Roy's heroics. My mind tells me that Phil and the Lakers don't go down 3-0 but that's me thinking t... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's NBA Playoffs Monday

NBA Regular Season YTD: 432-320-16
NBA Playoffs YTD: 53-31-2

2-3 Sunday. Memphis was the only game that hit (and that nice ML payout)

Interesting matchup we got here. Atlanta can easily be down 0-3 against the Bulls in the regular season if it weren't for the Bull's 2nd half meltdown in Atlanta that saw a them getting outscored 50-30. Outside that game, scoring-wise the Hawks has managed to only win a 2 quarters in 2 games against the Bulls. In the two games won by the bulls their average winning margin is at 20.5 points which is crazy high. I know regular season stats mean nothing in the playoff but I'm pretty sure it depends on which team/series it is. There are teams that can turn it up in the post season and those that performs almost the same as they did the whole year. I guess the Hawks follows the latter. Bulls seem to follow the latter as well with the way they are handled by the Pacers. I haven't seen the Bulls dominate in that series outside the Rose-show. Anyway, let's see the stats. Rebounding-wise, Bulls has dominated the hawks 44.33 to 30.33 that resulted to three time as much 2nd chance points for the Bulls. Bulls are also +5 in TO, meaning they take better care of the ball than the Hawks. They have also shot the ball a lot better. It makes you wanna bet on the Bulls after seeing the lien at 8.5. With those stats, it wouldn't be a surprise to call a sweep or a possible blow out in every game.

I'm pretty confident we'll see more ... [More]
