*** Call me Uncle Fade ***

Okay, I've proven that I can't win in beaver ball. Going at it one last time because I'm one heck of a degenerate. LOL. Anyway, this time I'll put extra time thinking about which play so hopefully it sways to a different route.

Washington @ Indiana
I'm not sure if WNBA teams look ahead to games but if they does then Washington is looking forward to this game or at least that's what I felt watching them play against the Silver Stars last night. Both are your best ATS teams ranking 3 and 4. Anyway, I'm quite torn apart with this play. Washington is playing 3 games in 4 nights against a rested Indiana team who is 10-2 at home and riding a 5 game streak. Washington just lost 3 in a row but has played the Fever pretty well their last two meets. My gut tells me that the Fever runs away with a win here but numbers and trends tells me that we'll see the Mystics keep this game close and cover.
Play on the Mystics +7.5

Los Angeles @ New York
Los Angeles is looking to keep their playoff dream alive while New York is looking to capitalize on the slide the last seed Mystics are on. Los Angeles is riding a 2 game streak and will be capping a 4 game road trip. The trip should take a toll on the Sparks and their legs should not be 100% facing a defensive New York team. IMO, we'll see another bad 2nd half from the Angels and will cause them the cover.
Play on the Liberty -7.5

Atlanta @ Connecticut
No real stat or trend to present. Both team seem ... [More]

CrazyMilkMan's World Cup Finals!

Netherlands vs Spain
18:30 GMT, July 11, 2010
Soccer City Stadium, Johannesburg, South Africa

Good game here both playing beautiful football. Anyway, not much writeup here as you've already seen how both teams play and definitely have gauged them. IMO, Spain gets the best of Netherlands with their solid defending and of course Paul the Octopus, Marvin the Parakeet, Bimbo the Ant-Eater and the rest of the animal kingdom picked Spain to win it all.

Predicted Score: Netherlands 1 Spain 2
  • Asian Handicap: Spain -0.5, -1 (-110)
  • Full Time Result: Spain to win (+110)
  • Line: OVER 2 (-110)
  • Line: OVER 2.5 (+150)
  • 1st Half Line : OVER 0.5 (-185)
  • Both Teams to Score (+110)

CrazyMilkMan's Battle For 3rd Write-up & Picks!

Uruguay vs Germany
18:30 GMT, July 10, 2010
Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium, Port Elizabeth, South Africa
Rather pointless game for Germany as they seek to rest most of their starters. Uruguay is looking to put a couple more finishing touches to their good 2010 World Cup run and to finish 3rd would be huge to them almost as if hoisting the cup.

You guys probably know what's up going to this game. Klose, if his back will allow him to, will look to etch himself in history tying, if not overtaking, Ronaldo (the real one, LOL) as the best goal scorer in the tournament. Suarez will be looking for redemption and Forlan will continue to bolster himself for a chance at that elusive Golden Boot award. Pretty personal motivations IMO.

Uruguayans are pretty much in cloud nine for what their team achieved in the tournament. Whatever the outcome in this match, players will definitely receive a heroes' welcome back at home. The South Americans didn't go down with out a fight against the Dutch. They were in the game for the whole 90 minutes and never wore a losing face even after seeing themselves down by a/two goal. Manager Oscar Tabarez will be more than happy for the team's effort and a 3rd place reward, which may mean nothing to most, will be nice enough reward for his team - for now.

Germans started their run without talisman Ballack and even went under scrutiny on the upset they received after a glorious opening game. They went on to score 4 more goals in the ... [More]
