Hey guys,

wow what an unbelievable night... I went 0-3 with my big plays...  Here's my original thread:

Like I said in my thread I went 0-3 and it's time to say goodbye now

I had a nice time here at covers with great cappers.

I wanna thank all cappers who support me in my threads. I know you know which I mean, don't wanna count them all here.

I wish you all good luck and hope you have a great time.

And no I'll not take an other username and post under this. I'll hold my words and really say goodbye. I only take a look on Tuesday at the board what you're doing and this will be my last day at covers.

A big respect at MrBator... He warned me about that...

i always try to tell myself when i lost quite a bit i will take a break or quit but the dgen in me keeps me from it

Crockie, you don't have to announce your departure forvever.  Take a break for awhile, even a long while, but you can always come back and see us.  Remember, on the ship of fools, there's always room for one more.

I lost my hole bankroll with my big plays. I started at July with ~ 3 units and was up to ~ 60 units.

Yes sometimes I was thinking when is the right time to stop. And I think for me its now. I lost lots of money on Monday, but I made good money in July. So it's good to stay away now. But for me it'll be no break. I'll pay out the rest of my bankroll and quit.

Thanks MrBator   Yes that's right. But at the moment I stand to my words and I'm not going to plan only a break an them comeback. I think I've a problem with breaks and especially with money managment. But it's nice to hear that

Yes noodle I was thinking about playing the games just for fun or only small.. But I think that I'll not hold this... I think I've a problem with money management. Sometimes I go to big on some games... If I see when I play just for fun that I'm on a good run I'll surely play bigger then...I have to play with real money and not with small money - this is nothing for me...

I had a couple bad plays and I almost thought of quitting too. But then I went 5-2 last week so I'm gonna hang a bit more. But I lost a bit on Dodgers today too

It's your choice. Find the best time to quit if you want it. It's important to set you a money limit. I lost bit on the Dodgers...

Your problem is like many others, you are wagering way too high you gotta take it easy. You want fast money but instead the fast money went to the bookies and now you're broke.

 

If you ever decide to gamble again and come back to covers follow me for a while and you'll understand why I own the fatman. You'll going to enjoy gambling again cause you're gonna be winning in the long run.

Never say goodbye. Goodbye is something you say when your never going to see somebody again. Just take some time off. Do what I'm doing in tennis. Just make some "mental" bets. And now that I've done that, I'm so happy I didn't really put in those plays. Or just wait for football. There are a lot of people in that forum with great insight and maybe you just need a change of scenery.

GL crockie, nearly everyone lost yesterday, it was a bad card with lots of tempting stud pitchers in really bad spots. they kill bankrolls every time.

just take a break, settle in your new job and come back for footie in november, every brother and  their mother wins in footie.

No problem I had ups and downs HappyHarry. And I'm happy to have this great July after this terrible June. I wanted to risk something with the money of the July so I made 3 big plays. I still have good money on my bankroll so I think it's the better decision to pay it out and don't lose all this...100$ isn't small That's a good size for my opinion. GL to you too

I like the Marlins tonight I was planing on Monday to play them tonight BIG but then I went 0-3. But the problem is so many are on the Marlins - it looks too good. I saw you're on them too.

if you are smart enough to realize to quit now and cash out, then you problem is not money management. Maybe  just your bet sizes or amount of games. 

Like someone said.. this hobby is part time job and it's draining. Maybe a break is all you need.
