Lets hear from all the Soccer people,who do you like for WC Futures I personally like Germany but Spain has been looking very strong since they dominated the Euros in 2008.

Deutchland for me, this is only time I watch fussball, during the world cup! Spain should be the favorite,but watch out for Italy being a sleeper.

Since 1962, Europe and South America have always flip flopped WC Champs. Europe last time... I'd go with one of the South American powers this time around. Argentina has not looked too impressive in qualifying thus far, they'd still be my pick.

PORTUGAL & HOLLAND these are the sleepers, the teams with the goalll scorer's , as recently shown; either can 'sit' Spain down, and take home the WC..

Germany is overated to the maxx...

Italy,France,England these are your patriotic teams, 'pure' heart, overachievers in WC play, with some of the best players in the world, understanding, they are playing for "their" country, not "their" team...

Brazil & Argentina no value on these two very immature teams, their good, their also young, in-consistent, and lack WC experience.....

A longshot that actually has a bonified chance......raise an eyebrow...CROATIA..is the WC topdog

The dutch have a great squad this year, I also agree there is tremendous value with the french team, and you cant go wrong dropping a small pal yon Brazil!

I think some African teams are great value. Home fieldish advantage. Not saying to win it all, but semis with a then possible hedge.

agree with lutz, spain not impressive in the confeds at all,
brazil, eng and holland I think a few penalty deciders deff for qtrs and semis.

Italy were a joke winner of the world cup they played shit  all tourny and because everyone else played shit they won.Holland and England would take the piss out of this side.
prob one of the worst winning squads ever.

i think ivory coast at 41 is a dark horse, should suit them and they played well last tourny , the argies i think underperformed peaked too early with a 5/6-0 win , and worth a shot.

The main thing I thought woudl keep them out of this one was the weather. But if the Brazillians are wearing gloves and long sleeves, they should be fine.

bracks.. most of the brazillian squad plays in europe anyways so they should be used to cold weather by now.

Argentina or Brazil WILL win this world cup.  A european team will not win in 2010 and thats a promise! (no european team has ever won a cup outside of europe, period).

duma- I know, I wasn't saying that's why a So.Amer team can't win. Was saying that was a great reason why England hasn't in the past(Japan, hot n' muggy) besides them just chokin.

 

Also duma- I am taking a team that has only won it when the tourney was IN their country.
