Current line is GT -7. Seems a little low to me.
Consider the facts:
-Home game for GT
-Previous week was a bye week for GT
-UGA coming off a very unimpressive, heartbreaking loss at home to Kentucky
-AJ Green and Rambo are both doubtful for this game
-GT's offense ranks 12th in the country in total offense and 11th in scoring offense
-UGA ranks 73rd in the nation in total offense
-GT's defense has allowed a total of 30 or fewer rushing yards in 3 of their past 4 games
-GT returns the exact same offensive personnel that put up 45 points and 450 total yards of offense on UGA last year.
So why is the line only 7? Am I missing something?

1. Big 12 South - I don't think there's any question here. 2 of the top 3 (Texas and Oklahoma) and 3 of the top 10 (Okie St.) teams in the country. Plus Texas Tech is still pretty good and should start the season in the top 25.
2. SEC West - LSU, Bama, and Ole Miss are all extremely talented, and should all hover around the top 15 throughout the season. Don't look past Tennessee, with perhaps the best defensive player in the country, in Eric Berry.
3. ACC Coastal - GT, VT, and UNC, 3 of the top 20 teams in the nation, headline this division. Don't forget Miami, they may have the best young talent in the ACC.
4. SEC East- Of course Florida is the best team in the country. But after them and UGA, the East lacks a little bit. Vandy and S.Car should both win no more than 7 games each.
5. ACC Atlantic - every team in this division went to a bowl game last season. Florida State is a solid and talented team that is the class of this division, while NC. State is definitely on the rise, with future star Russell Wilson, only a soph. Clemson may sneak up on some people this season having playmakers on both sides of the ball. Meanwhile BC, Maryland, and Wake have all lost stars but should still look to have decent seasons.
6. Big 12 North - Big dropoff after Kansas and Nebraska. Both teams have huge offenses, led by Reesing and Briscoe at Kansas, and Ganz and Helu at Nebraska. Colorado and Missouri should both look to make bowl games, but... [More]
