Best Beers for the Summer

It really doesn’t get any better than sitting outside on a beautiful summer day with a drink and relaxing, whether you are at the pool or the ball park.

But this weekend I got into a huge debate about what was the best beer to drink during the summer. I was at the Kenny Chesney concert in Philadelphia and everyone was swearing by Pabst Blue Ribbon and the keg of Coors Light at our tailgate.

Others were telling me it doesn’t get better than a Bud Light.

Personally, I love Lions Head or Yuengling in the fall or winter, but that stuff gets heavy during the summer. My newest go-to beer for the hot months has been  Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy. It’s a bit pricy, but the stuff is banging with a hint of lemon at the end.

What do you like drinking during the summer? What is your go-to beer?

I don't want to be drinking a Guinness Stout in the middle of a 90 degree day either. Landshark lager or Kalik from The Bahamas are great summer beers on ice.

Moosehead and labatts are great summer beers... Canadians know how to brew.

Landshark and Miller Chill are good summer domestics
