Have one in Dallas but never been, I would go to Bob's instead.  Probably can't go wrong though always hear good things.  Pretty spendy.

Right now because of the economy  Mortons has dinner for 2 at 100 bucks ..

Ruth Chris is competitive at $40  for a complete meal..

Steak is steak in a nice steakhouse and hard to screw up.  Go with atmosphere.  The Morton's here is very dated and actually quite ugly atmosphere.

Not a fan of Ruth Chris's, some people love that place but I actually think they did find a way to scew up a steak.  They put too much butter on it.  But that's just a personal opinion.

I think I have been to the Del Frisco's in Dallas and remember liking it but for date purposes, I would still go with the most swingingest atmosphere.

If you are in Dallas , go to the Loews Anatole Hotel .. their food is awesome .

I prefer Morton's over Ruth Chris .. get the steak fries , house salad and creamed spinach as sides .. sauteed mushrooms too..

thank me later

I prefer Ruth's Chris over Morton's.  Been to Morton's once and felt like my medium rare steak was way too charred on the outside.  Wasn't a bad piece of meat, but I had a really good experience at Ruth's Chris and would recommend them over Morton's.  I really enjoyed my steak drenched in butter.  And their broccoli au gratin was pretty friggin awesome.  Smith & Wollensky is a pretty solid steakhouse as well.

In today's economy, home made is more pratical and absulutely way better. Go to Sam's or Costco they have some great cuts (30 dollars) , nice wine (29 dollars) , romantic movie (3 dollars), roses ( 20 dollars) and  a preciouse time her (alone) without annoying waiters (priceless)
