Hello everyone, I am new on Covers.My name is Eric Smith and I am actually a student at the University of Maryland and am an avid capper. Last year, I made a profit of $2,500 on the College/NFL seasons combined. Missed the first weekend (forgot to post, that is), but I am back for the first year of my posting. First off, a bit about my plays. I rate my plays on a star basis. 5 star plays are the highest rated(usually $250), and 1 star plays are the lowest (usually $50). So, you can figure about $50 per star rating. I will be posting my picks and keeping track of my yearly record. I wish I could bet more money, but as many of you may be, you know how the college life is.
Anyways, I look forward to meeting many of you guys and hopefully I can be a great help to you. I assure that if you follow me, I will consistently win and will prove that to you this year.

3 Stars: UCLA(+7.5) over Tennesee
-Let's grab the home team and points in this one. I know UCLA's starting QB(s) are out for this one, but first year coach Rick Neuheisel will want to come out strong here in his first game. Combine that with the fact that Tennesee doesn't have much on offense except for RB Foster and not much on defense except for DB Eric Berry and we have ourselves a UNDERDOG winner! UCLA may not win outright, but expect this one to be close and let's grab the points.
