Here's a link to my blog post.

Short summary: Fahrenkopf is about as conservative and right-wing as it is possible to be, and has major ties to the Republican Party elite.

I don't really care about that.

But he's also in charge of the American Gaming Association and their policy of remaining "neutral" on the online gaming issue.

Makes you wonder who is pulling who's strings, doesn't it?

I do not think most people know that a True conservative would never band on line gambling. Perhaps the 2 greatest conservative minds of the 20th century William Buckley and the great nobel winning economist Milton Friedman were against such bans. You can not ban the sins of the flesh. The results from Prohibition was the lesson we should learn . It simply did not work. Al Capone became one of the richest people in the world because of it. The underground world became bigger and more corrupt. Gambling taxes actually were used at the formation of the country. Most do not know that nor do they know tobacco was actually used for currency . The government could be raking in revenue but hopelessly spends wasted dollars trying to prosecute that which gamblers are going to do anyway-gamble. Over 40 states permit gambling. It is only a sin if they do not get tax revenue from it. Just ask a prosecuting attorney.
