1-0 BCSWow, went 5/6 Thursday night with my picks and truthfully a pick from GameHunter and Deezy43. Most were mine but I want to recognize the big help these guys give. Today lots of people are on Colorado, I don't like the buffs here. Going with a more athletic Baylor team. I'm concerned that covers is on Syracuse and we all know what happens then....

Just documenting my BCS pick since I didn't post any of my lame Bowl season. I actually split 50/50 giving the books some juice of Bowl Season. Good Luck everyone. My take on the game is unique compared to most I've seen, I think the key factor is the Utah game last year. Bama is still pissed off in a huge way about how the first half went last year. I look for them to come out swinging. I like Texas but they played poorly against good defenses.
Alabama -4

Well, I went 3-3 yester
day
when lots of people struggled. Today everyone is on Nova and I'm with the crowd. It does feel better to be on the same side with Swizz, Crus, UNC and the rest of the cappers.
I go against when I have the numbers but today most are on these.
Villanova -3.5
Wright State -2
Princeton +2
Cincinnati +3
Lots of people are on Michigan, Xavier and Boston College. I'm not on those, my numbers just don't fit. Michigan at home is the only one I had as a lean. That game has just started so I can't list it.
GL everyone.

Miss State -5 (fading a poor offensive team in UCLA)
Purdue -4 (Lots of good people on Bama here)
Washington +1 (GTown overrated)
Ohio State +3.5 (Everyone on Butler which I consider overrated due to last yr)

Well, I added Syracuse over my beloved Gators and a few others which I documented in many posts but didn't put on my blog. Kentucky over Uconn, UNC covering against Kentucky and the Washington State under versus Idaho were the best picks of the last two days. I won on LaSalle but lost on Niagara last night. Oh, Harvard over BC...almost forgot I did everything I could to talk people out of BC but most of the board took the Eaglets.
Friday's card is tight. I have some leans but I'm not too happy with the card.

Went 1-1 last night only because ISU won but missed a bucket. On to tonight.
Virginia -1
Florida -1
Florida is a homer pick because we have the talent but Boykin has to play big. I'm also counting on Maclin to play big.
Virginia is playing good but this is a question about Stanford. I loved them last year but until they win one like this with authority, I have to go against them.

Some nice winners this weekend but no time to post any write-ups. Although I did post my UNC over OSU pick in Stuckey's thread, I'm not counting that in my record.
Going small tonight with much interest in the Tenn vs. Purdue matchup. Just watching not betting, Tenn is too questionable right now. They have the leadership and talent to dominate but no offensive structure to score. They dunk or shoot three's from the perimeter, nothing else.
Illinois State -7
Texas -15
I really like ISU and the texas play is sort of a play against Iowa.

2010 NCAAB ATS: 3-0 (+3 units)
NCAAB ParlaIys 0-0 (+0 units)
NCAAB Totals 0-0 (+0 unit)OK, great start and thanks to KingScorpio for warning me off Stanford and putting me on San Diego. I can't count it as a posted play but it was a nice win. Although I was leaning toward the Bonnies, CrusCrnshaw pushed me the rest of the way on that pick.
On to today.
Temple -6
Cornell +7.5 Not trusting Bama to come out ready against 5 returning players
Butler -13 taking a chance on a bit too much chalk here. All players returning
Dayton -7.5 Nervous on this one.
All 1 unit plays until I sort out who plays and who does not.

Great weekend last time. Any bozo could win some weeks, which explains why I win I guess. This week, the book has over reacted to the Favs with some huge chalk. Last nights Boise State -20 was a good example of easy money.
I'm not saying Vandy will cover +35 but my beloved Gators have been good to bet against all year. Starting off with the Pac10 today in order of import.
1. Oregon Ducks over a scrappy Stanford team. Oregon has had their number for a long time and now have the better QB, better back and always better speed.
Oregon -7
2. USC well not much of a pick but I expect a real bounce back here on defense. Everybody will likely be on this pick so I don't claim to be tredding new ground.
USC -10
3. LSU +7.5 Wow, I probably am tredding new turf on this one. Over Hyped and essentially one play Alabama plays LSU after winning a close one at Tenn. I think Bama can win this but I'll take the points.
LSU +7.5
4. Missouri -14 This line is moving up but I did lock it in at 14. The Tigers are just starting to find a potent offensive consistency which should be way to much for Baylor.
Missouri -14
No write-ups on a few small plays I expect Tulane to fold and go home, as will Akron.
Utep -7
Kent State -3
Penn State -4

So I'm not adding a big write-up, I gotta go BBQ some ribs. Here are my picks for today:
Georgia Tech -5
Arkansas +7
Iowa +2
Texas -13
Oklahoma -8
Good Luck everyone. I didn't list Tennessee but I added them to a Parlay at +15, I think they will hold Bama to under the total. Bama has shown serious problems at QB, nobody seems to talk about. Tennessee will stop the big running game and force them to pass.

I was way too busy this week to post but Saturday looks good. I especially like Syracuse.
Syracuse +5.5 The line is off here Cuse has the offense to cover here.
Butler -3 -Wright St is playing well and this is a good spot for them but Butler -3 is a bargain and they will be motivated coming off some tough games.
Texas -3 Everyone loves Nebraska at home but Texas is the more road tested team and they play better competition non-conf.
Utah -6 going against Stuckey on this one. Wyoming is typically a different team at home. HCA with the freakish altitude and everything but Utah is one of my best teams. I will ride them here.
Idaho -2 This is my favorite off the radar team against a rainbows team that gets beat by everybody. Look for Idaho to pull away in the 2nd.
Syracuse +5 (1u)
Butler -3 (1u)
Texas -3 (1u)
Utah -6 (1u)
Idaho -2 (1u)

Well I went 3-2 on posted plays but I actually had a great day overall. So my games that were against last place conference teams (Cal Davis and WKU) both lost which is crazy. Denver beating WKU was a surprise obviously.

Well, Saturday rolls around and I was too busy to post last nights plays or the early Saturday plays. On to today....
UConn -2 over ND. This is a tough game but critical for these teams, 1 unit on the more athletic huskies.
Marquette -17 already started but only a few minutes. 1 unit
Western Kentucky -3.5 much better team and SOS. 3 units
Villanova -6 Offensive number and SOS this will be close.
Kansas -8 Better coach deeper team and a fade of ISU.
Wisconsin +7 Not sure if Wisky can bounce back here but Iowa likes to keep the game close and the line should be 3pts. 1 Unit
Florida State Pk I like Virginia but they aren't finishing while FSU is playing better.
Well, scratch Nova because the game is over but I could post the ticket, I won't count it. I woke up about 10am made my plays and went back to sleep. Fuck it.
