Austin Peay +3 (1unit)
BYU +3.5 (1unit)

Well I went 3-2 on posted plays but I actually had a great day overall. So my games that were against last place conference teams (Cal Davis and WKU) both lost which is crazy. Denver beating WKU was a surprise obviously.
Today I'm going small (1unit) with these:
Minny -8
Mich State -3
Richmond +2
Rhode Island -5.5
Totals:
Georgetown/Seton Hall under 147
Duquesne under 152

Well, Saturday rolls around and I was too busy to post last nights plays or the early Saturday plays. On to today....
UConn -2 over ND. This is a tough game but critical for these teams, 1 unit on the more athletic huskies.
Marquette -17 already started but only a few minutes. 1 unit
Western Kentucky -3.5 much better team and SOS. 3 units
Villanova -6 Offensive number and SOS this will be close.
Kansas -8 Better coach deeper team and a fade of ISU.
Wisconsin +7 Not sure if Wisky can bounce back here but Iowa likes to keep the game close and the line should be 3pts. 1 Unit
Florida State Pk I like Virginia but they aren't finishing while FSU is playing better.
Well, scratch Nova because the game is over but I could post the ticket, I won't count it. I woke up about 10am made my plays and went back to sleep. Fuck it.
Uconn -2
Marquette -17
West Kentucky -3.5

Tulsa -6

Wake -13
I took Michigan State but the game has started so I won't count that as a play tonight. Gl Everyone.

Small card today I missed the Kentucky start so nothing on that.
Minny +2 against a strange NW team that managed some scrappy games at home. Big 10 is never easy to cap but I look for Tubby to be to good at the halftime adjustments. Better offensive numbers and SOS.
Minny +2 (2units)

Great day today +4 units and went 7 of 10 or 7-3 hitting some nice wins. I knew Cornell was a winner, most people were not on Cornell. Everyone got Wake and Marquette so I won't take a lot of credit for that. Nice total on the Cincy game. My 2009 record is finally getting on track. After a great 2008.
Early leans:
Minnesota +1 vs. Northwestern

Butler -2 over ICU basically Butler is playing crushing defense and on a roll against a good one man team. ICU is capable of winning this SU especially if they get hot but Butler's defense is worth the play.
Northeastern -3 Nothing to say about this cover monster, I ride them almost always and they won the last matchup easily.
Marquette -1 Fading Prov this is a value line getting a more athletic Marquette team.
Wake +2.5 Great guard and inside play versus intense press and transition game. I'm just riding the Deacons momentum.
Kansas -12 against a pitiful Colorado team KU needs a big win this is it.
Oklahoma -3 Thinking here is the better inside game but Oklahoma is starting to mesh at other positions.
Totals: Cincy/Depaul under 135
Summary:
Butler -2Northeastern -3Marquette -1Wake +2.5Kansas -12Oklahoma -3Cincy/Depaul under 135

NCAAB Parlays 1-1 (+24units)So Close to a nice day and missed the parlay play by Purdue missing a couple freethrows. Still UNC was my bigger unit play and we won that one. UNC didn't impress me much and I was shocked to see Arizona State get blown out in the second half. I don't care about 1unit plays really but I expected them to contend.
On to Friday, I don't like the short card and will probably spend the time capping Saturday plays.

Great night hitting the easy Drake dog, Temple won easily and a nice 5-team parlay. I should have had a better night but Michigan State gave up a big lead to give me a push against PSU. Then Georgia missed by 1. Typical for me but still a good night.
On to Thursday:
Arizona +11 against UCLA this is a big spot. UCLA is good but I might take the first half here. Arizona can play inside and could win the rebounding edge.
Ariz State pk- Jumped on this line against USC which is a decent young team but I ride ASU most games. This line will move up, look for ASU to pull away late.
Purdue -4 Nortwestern is overrated and I'm not a big Purdue fan but this is a good line after the big home win. I think momentum will be the deal here and defense. This could be a totals play for me depending on the number.
New Mex State -8 over Idaho, I love this Idaho team. A scrappy bunch that has made me good money this year, unfortunately this is a bad road matchup.

It's been a great year betting college
hoops for me so far, but I'm looking to improve my posted plays with a big
Wednesday. Here are my favorite plays for tonight:
Record
2009 NCAAB ATS: 2-4
Humbling
watching Tennessee get blown out at home by 20, they suck. I actually
had a another good night because my Bradley play was big but shit like
that only counts if I post units. I guess I'll start posting Units.
On to Wednesday, a great lineup tomorrow.
Temple
-10 vs. Penn Basically I don't respect Penn with an SOS over 200
playing Temple SOS 11 and RPI is similar. Nothing about Penn is good.
Books are counting on Temple to play flat.
Georgia +9.5 vs Vandy
This is a big spot for Vandy against a scrappy but retarded Bulldog
team. I think they can stay within 10 but that's all.
Wake -3.5
vs. BC well most people know I consider BC a vast conspiracy against
bettors. Will they show up? will they play the whole game? Teague is
the difference so I just don't think BC can stop Teague.
Drake
+8 vs. Ill State I love Ill State but public betting has driven them
to heights that just don't make sense. I'll take Drake and the points.
Syracuse +7 Just a good dog play but Georgetown HCA is tough.
Michigan State -5 This is a good matchup for the slower inside game. Small spot for a good team.
Temple -10 (2units)
Georgia +9.5 (1unit)

Record
2009 NCAAB ATS: 1-2
Last night Texas laid down, really showing me that Texas Guards don't have the backbone I expected in a conference game coming off some bad losses. No offense and no effort. OK, enough about that.
Bradley -2 This should be a good spot for Bradley, unfortunately everybody and their mother will be on Bradley so the line should change. I'll take this line early regardless. Bradley has played a tough schedule and mostly lost to good teams, while beating the expected teams. ISU is hard to cap but Bradley should win here.
Memphis -4 Lots of people love Tulsa and hate Memphis. Mostly because Memphis hasn't covered some crazy double-digit spreads. Memphis is the play, better schedule and much better wins. Speed in transition but Memphis has a team IQ of 5. One point per player so I don't count on these guys to think.
Tennessee -6 I know Billy Gillespie is awesome, I love his defense and the way meeks is playing. Kentucky is on the right track to dominate in a year or two. Right now they have scheduled easy wins while Tennessee has played a brutal schedule. Tenn Coach Pearl is a moron and they really have no offensive scheme but they are athletes. In fact, dozens of athletes..this team is deeeep. Look for Tennessee to either struggle with Gillespie coaching or overwhelm KU with players. I'll take Tenn based on playing the Zags twice, Temple, Georgetown, Marquette, Kansas....damn that's brutal.
Bradley -2

My card for tonight
Texas +4.5Charleston -14Louisville -6No totals tonight. i explained the Texas pick earlier, basically a harder SOS and better guards. I expect Texas to win the rebounding edge. The Griffins are good but taking Texas and the points.
Charleston is a fade of Samford and a SOS as Charleston has played some big competion.
Louisville I think will expose the ND defense and show that ND is a good middle tier team but not a sweat 16 team.
GL All

I've got to start recording my plays, I've been on fire this year.
Texas +4 vs. Oklahoma -Texas on the road, the guards are just not playing as expected since the Villanova game. This should be a battle. I think the home court could give the Sooners the edge but Texas is the play. They need this game.
Texas +4
Power rankings favor Oklahoma but Texas has played some bigger, tougher non-conference games and certainly faced more speed. I look for Texas guards to come out with some better play.
Leans I'm considering:
College of Charleston
